Adamland and eywflyer may be familiar usernames to you from the Glam Nation Tour concert threads that appeared regularly on mjsbigblog last year, and we decided to create a site dedicated to Adam Lambert concert info. This site will provide information on Adam’s upcoming tour, ticket sales, and when the time comes, concert threads for each tour date. We are looking forward to lots of fun during Adam’s second tour!

We are now less than 12 hours away from Adam’s first concert in over 5 months! Watch for the live concert thread late tonight/very early Saturday morning, depending on your time zone.

Schedule for the Maxidrom 2011 event in Moscow on Saturday (translated link):
Adam is slated to perform between 130 PM and 300 PM Saturday afternoon Moscow time. This translates to the following times in the U.S., very early on Saturday morning:
530-700 AM EDT
430-600 AM CDT
330-500 AM MDT
230-400 AM PDT
We will have a live thread available for that concert, starting an hour or two before Adam goes on stage and continuing through Saturday.

Me too. Some fan fic was just sickening, and “art”? Listen, I’m open to a lot of art styles, but, OMG, some of the stuff I have seen on an Adam theme, also was just sickening.
Okay, so, an Adam story for today:
There’s a gal at work who is an Idol fan, loves music, etc. I have never had an “Adam” discussion with her, until today. I mentioned that my kids bought me the Adele CD for Mother’s Day. Her kids bought her FYE!! She had never heard any of it. Because of her love for Adele, I told her to listen to Soaked especially. She said she wanted to see him sing it. I told her that there are thousands of videos of Soaked on You Tube. I directed her to the LA shows because I wanted her to see the LA stuff. She can handle it!! I can’t wait for her recaps!!
Group hug. I love that we can disagree rationally and then resolve the issues.
Fan fic…I have only read a little bit. Wow. Some was cute, actually…but there was definitely a lot of creep factor. Some of the authors made me very, very uncomfortable. I assume that Adam lets it roll off him now, but the initial awareness of that stuff must have been disturbing.
I’ve been gardening all day and I’m off to put this aching body into a hot tub with bath salts. Was hoping to see something on the St. Agathe site today! it is hard to be patient for something so exciting.

I remember seeing a short video of Monte discussing the fan fic, he was just grossed out.
Whenever I run across some of that stuff, or art that is just weird, I wonder what Leila would think. Or also, what goes through the minds of the people who create it. Do they really think that Adam would LIKE it? It is so creepy.
I’m sure most celebrities have to deal with this, and I hope he has somebody who can screen him from the weirdos.

It’s funny. So much of the art that was brought over to MJ’s was cute and sweet. Those anime’s of Adam and/or Tommy were so adorable. And those birdie things too. But the crass stuff would pop up in other places. I would innocently click on links, and then, ZAP, my eyeballs burst. Icky.

Good evening ya’ll, I was out for a while and following the thread on my phone. Saw some of the discussion regarding another Adam fan and was happy to see folks going back and removing mentions, I was guilty myself of a mention earlier today and went back to take that out of one of my comments. It’s probably best that we don’t discuss other Adam fans who aren’t members of this site and thus aren’t around to respond.
Ya’ll are fine re the “art” and fan fic discussion. Sounds like everyone shares the same opinion on that topic…
Still nothing on AO, ALF or Twitter about the Quebec tickets. The festival website is now saying 35 fire passports available at the same price they were saying 10 were available at earlier, so they may be trying to create a sense of urgency by slowing releasing more of them. Hopefully some new info will come out on Tuesday. I’ll check again tomorrow and update the post up top if we get new info.
Thanks RainbowGal for letting me know about this site. I was wondering where folks went. How are we letting people know about this, is it only thru e-mails? I know you probably can’t post the site on MJ’s but maybe a message there to contact someone for info might help. There are people who haven’t posted for awhile who would be nice to have join in.

Woo Hoo! It worked. Thanks eywflyer for the assist. Also a big thanks to eyw and the rest of the management crew. It’s gonna be great here. I’m glad we’re also planning to stay “in” with MJ’s. I’ve read thru all the posts and the guidelines. Tomorrow I’ve gotta pass the word to a couple other regular MJers who may not yet know about this site.
On another note, I’m gonna email Cher that I want to be included in the get-together and partaaay! So, I’ll go for the night and take care of those couple of things.

When I see news and photos of Adam and Sauli, I think of you and your words for Adam from your M&G recap, “… the universe has already taken care of that.”
From your M&G you told Adam that he was in a state where gays could marry and he could bring his guy there to tie the knots. He said first he had to find one. And you told him the universe has already taken care of that.
Wow!! And this concert was far long before his international tour.
We don’t know if Sauli is the one or not. But Adam is very happy right now. It’s between them to make it last and it’s not my beeswax.

Oksana, that would probably not be a good idea. I think that MJ being ok with the concept doesn’t necessarily mean she wants us putting links to the site in her Headlines thread. Plus our site startup is not news in the sense that MJ covers, it’s related to a specific fan group instead.
I’d suggest putting a link in the last Adam thread (feathers) instead.I see that jlurksacto has put a link there now, thanks!I just tweeted out a link to our site under @glamfansinfo, so we may see some new folks start showing up.

Sorry Adam but Haleys not my choice. I usually like what he does but not always. I guess choice is what makes the world go round. Anyone else watching Idol this year? I am and have even voted. No one sticks out like Adam, but no one ever will as there is only one Adam. I still like the show but it’s hard this year to pick a favorite. Sounds like the Toronto show plans are well under way. Anyone going to Russia?
Hi everybody, It has been ages since I posted a comment, but Cher said that I should register here and say “hi”, so that is what I am doing. Must do what Cher says, right? I have been lurking on the other threads and enjoying reading them, just didn’t feel that I had much to contribute.
I wanted to thank Eywflyer, Adamland, and Suz for this new site. Hopefully the haters won’t find it.
I look foreword to reading about the concerts here. Quebec sounds great and I wish I could come, but I won’t get across the pond until September. Then I will be in Indiana, Florida, New York, and Toronto. I’ll see Cher, Riskylady, Bessiedim, cgesq, and who knows, maybe I will get the chance to meet some more of you.
Oh, and just to add some content, I totally agree with Adam about Haley. She is my favorite on Idol this year. Aside from her singing, I love her attitude. She takes the knocks and criticism, picks herself up, smiles, and then just gets better.
eyw, if you look at the “feathery” thread it is almost dead.It seems to me, that almost everyone who doesn’t care about other stuff (Glee, X-factor, Voice, DWTS) comes exclusively here.
We’ll see how it will shape in the future.

Jojosie and rs I have been watching idol this year and although Haley wasn’t my first choice I am really loving her these last couple of weeks. I too especially like her attitude, I swear last week she was flipping off the judges with her mind. LOL
I can not stand James. Haven’t liked him since the beginning of his “I’ll do Adam better than Adam” act. He is a screamer not a singer, makes my ears bleed.

glambotgram Oh how I agree with you on James. I was hoping he would be able to “mature” as the shows when on but he’s fallen short in my eyes.
Besides her voice I started pulling for Haley because of the slights she had to endure. No stool time with Ryan, no back story and the awful way the judges judged her. I’m amazed she’s held it together this long. That says a lot about her ability to hold up in the music industry.

I’ve added a “Meta” menu to the right-side of the page. This includes links for new users to register as well as login/logout functions, so hopefully that will make it easier for new folks to get signed up.
Luval, I have an AT&T iphone, the technology in that phone is compatible with Canadian and international networks. You will need to make sure you have some level of “International Roaming” enabled on your account to allow your phone to work outside of the US (I have expanded international roaming). If you will be in Canada or calling there much, there’s also the AT&T Canada plan to give you lower per-minute rates (beware – calls made outside of the US will be billed per-minute and not covered by your regular minutes).

I’m on team Haley this year and quite frankly I might just have to break my voting boycott (only ever voted for Adam, just never cared enough about anyone else) and send some votes her way this week. Don’t like the way she’s been treated…and I love her voice.
