Adamland and eywflyer may be familiar usernames to you from the Glam Nation Tour concert threads that appeared regularly on mjsbigblog last year, and we decided to create a site dedicated to Adam Lambert concert info. This site will provide information on Adam’s upcoming tour, ticket sales, and when the time comes, concert threads for each tour date. We are looking forward to lots of fun during Adam’s second tour!

We are now less than 12 hours away from Adam’s first concert in over 5 months! Watch for the live concert thread late tonight/very early Saturday morning, depending on your time zone.

Schedule for the Maxidrom 2011 event in Moscow on Saturday (translated link):
Adam is slated to perform between 130 PM and 300 PM Saturday afternoon Moscow time. This translates to the following times in the U.S., very early on Saturday morning:
530-700 AM EDT
430-600 AM CDT
330-500 AM MDT
230-400 AM PDT
We will have a live thread available for that concert, starting an hour or two before Adam goes on stage and continuing through Saturday.

We already have other blogs that do that.I want at least one place that I don’t have to be reminded constantly how old, fat, delusional and cow-like I am and how ridiculous Adam looked in his latest “fashion statement”.

Oksana, I don’t really expect any fanwars to occur, but this is a publicly accessible website, so you never know who may decide to register and post, especially if we start getting new users when the next tour starts up. I don’t want to require administrator approval of all new user registrations (there is that option in wordpress but I’m not using it currently), and I don’t want to get to the point of shutting down any opinion of Adam that is less than 100% positive, but the guidelines also state that any criticism of Adam must have some reasonable basis. We will delete mindless bashing or overly negative posts.
While reasonable criticism of Adam is allowed, criticism of his fans will not be. Such comments will be deleted immediately. Thanks for bringing that point up,
I’m going to addI have added it to the guidelines.We definitely want everyone to feel that this is a safe place for Adam fans. The mention of fanwars in the guidelines is to try to ensure that such things don’t happen here, rather than an expectation that they will.

Cher, yes links are fine, thanks for finding it for us! Short quotes (one or two lines) with a link to the original source are fine too. The only thing we can’t have is entire paragraphs or wholesale copy and paste from copyrighted material (any newspaper article and to be safe any web article).

I never criticize my fellow posters, cause I believe that everyone is entitled to her/his opinion. I don’t think that Adam walks on water or is the greatest entertainer in the world. I simply like the guy, cause he is NEVER boring…
Oh, and if I never again see two (actually three) words, “Glambulge” and “Alpha Male” I won’t complain…

YEAH it worked!! Hey and congrats to those who are getting a concert in their area. You can feel the excitement in each of your posts. Wish I could go. It will be so good to hear that voice again. Another reason I’m so happy to see this site. Thank you again.
Although I’m going to Quebec, I can’t wait until Moscow. Only 2 weeks from this Saturday! I hope we get a sense of what Quebec will be like. Wonder if we’ll get dinner or something? I’ll be up no matter what. Don’t have to work that weekend.

I just joined (thanks Ron). I run a Toronto Adam Lambert Fan group on Yahoo. Very excited about the Quebec show and the road trip. How the heck did you all get little icons on here? I can’t find anywhere to upload one of the profile section.
Glambotgram occasional references to Tigger or GB are ok, but we don’t want to get more explicit than that.
Oksana, glad you like the updated guidelines, and thanks again for bringing forward the point about people criticizing Adam’s fans, that’s a good addition to the guidelines. You are correct, it’s more about how people discuss something. Thoughtful dissenting opinions are fine and welcomed. On the other hand, if we see an unknown person who comes in here and starts up with only negative comments without ever contributing anything positive, that person will be asked to change their ways, and may be removed from the site if they don’t.
I know that I’ve been talking a lot about guidelines and site philosophy today, I hope it’s not a downer to folks but as nkd said it’s important to have these things clear up front.
Still no new info on AO, ALF or the festival website regarding Quebec tickets. I’ll keep checking this evening, if anyone sees any new info please let us know here on the thread.

Hi. Just catching up. Regarding ground rules, etc. To me, fanwarring refers to bashing one group of fans or when for instance, fans of another Idol would bash Adam on MJ’s. MJ often would delete posts in that vein.
I agree that we should have freedom to criticize Adam and other things, but, in an overall vein that we still are his fans. For instance, the whole facial hair fracas!!
I love the idea that overtly over the top sexual stuff and fan fic will not be tolerated. That stuff creeps me out. I don’t want to hear about what people “do” while listening to his music, or what they fantasize about “doing” to our boy. That’s just crass and gross.
Of course, the lists of “jobs” that we had so much fun with on tour talked about “doing” things too. Like unwrapping his gum for him!!! Usually this was suggestive, but not too over the top. IMHO.
Now, LOL, we had a lot of GB fun-ness during the tour. Well, I know I did!! I hope we can still have some laughs here about that phenomenon.
I’m not going to Canada. No time off available for this one from work. There will be other opportunities.
Mils, frankly, I prefer one Adam fan with all her criticism than some cray-crays I met on other Adam fansites. For heaven sake, he is just a normal dude with tons of talent, good looks and charisma, but he is not a semi-god. Some fanfiction I read and “art” I saw made me cringe…
Oksana2000…I don’t think you got an answer about the size of the Moscow stadium. I don’t have one for you either. This happened when we first heard he was playing there…I tried Wikipedia and other things but couldn’t get information on the venue. All I got were weird Russian websites (which I did not click on). Maybe it’s good I didn’t go!
