When I lived in Taiwan and Alaska (earthquake-prone areas), sometimes you could sense the quakes coming in – slightly different feeling in each area – Taiwan more sudden – Alaska more a rolling vibration in the earth. Been thinking about this lately as Adam news has been seeping out. The more frequent news and sightings remind me of the Alaskan quakes – a sense of underground movement. But feel there’s a deliberation – a calculation – behind it all.
Just my musings as I wait for the big one.

Adamized Thanks for your kind words about my 1st GA experience. Baby steps, you know. I guess I could do another outdoor one if it were similar to this one–maybe Ste Agathe next year??? An indoor one in a tight venue would make me crazy even with the Duke next to me. Maybe in that next venue we’ll get to meet!
Haven’t seen or heard any of the vids yet or links due to computer system I’m on at hotel. ITA! Adam is so very smart.
I wanted to share a little Adam moment. I asked my friend who is visiting if she wanted to hear Adam’s new song. She watched the youtube and said “his hair looks like it is on fire”. I laughed and told her that Adam has been hoping for that effect for many many years. She is a total Adam virgin so she had no idea about the “little flickers” of Adam’s dreams.

Found the two-part French interviews more interesting than the average as Adam expressed (am aware of his doing it once before) his fear of growing old alone. This is a universal fear, but may, with gay men, be even more problematic because of our culture. At the previous interview, he also addressed his fear of the death of his parents. Again, universal, but in his case, different from the norm because of who he is.
And Adam has always said he’s an “open book.” On the surface, believe that’s true. But, as he expressed in the French interview, he’s become more confident in letting people in further than before. What Adam means by this have no way of knowing.
At any rate, he’s a fascinating personality as attested to by all who come in contact with him. Don’t think I have to elaborate on that to anyone here.

You r welcome. I don’t know why I am still up at this hour, when I should be asleep. I was watching a couple of the vids earlier and noticed some “trolling?” on the sleepwalker vid I had uploaded. I was going to ignore it but then posted a comment, which I hope will be enough. Don’t want it to get out of hand.
Anyway Adam always says “you get back what you give away”. Making the vids available to others to see is a way of reciprocating for others who do the same-if that makes some sense.

Okay, had to go see the comments to sleepwalker. Moth to a flame LOL…Nicky, your response was so reasoned and articulate. Probably his radar can’t pick it up, too sad.
But I was reading the comments while Adam was singing.
And I could hardly keep my eyes on the words, he was so magnificent…and that really put things into perspective. It is impossible to read or think anything but wonderfulness while Adam’s voice is doing its magic. In time, his voice will overcome all. My advice to the troll is that he simply put the vids on loop and let that voice wash over him. He will be healed.
Nicky: the common wisdom is not to feed to trolls, since they crave attention more than anything. Easier said than done sometimes. (I have to admit, that heallsortsofwonderful comment was me!) In the end, troll will get tired of it and positive comments will prevail. Judging from troll’s writing skills, he is probably not worth your time. You said all that needed to be said brilliantly.
