It is so nice seeing all the familiar user names here. Feels like family, and so nice to see all the great friendships made brought together by their love Adam.
One person I haven’t seen lately is clearone…she used to comment in Adam threads quite a bit, but nothing recently. Just wondering.

Yes, that is Ron with Adamized to his right and then just my hair as I look down lol. Luval and nekkid and her lovely daughter Callie probably have bits of body parts in the photo as well, they were in our immediate circle.
If you look carefully behind us there is the alley between the two fences that ran to the sound booth,you can see that we are leaning against a fence. That is where Sauli passed by, barely two feet from us, escorted by security. (Sound booth is off to the left side of the photo; you can see the left side of the stage to the right side of the photo.)
Just across from us on the other side, to the very left of the photo, is a young woman with half her head shaved and glasses. This was her first Adam concert, she is from Illinois and had longed to go to glamnation but wasn’t able to. She was possibly the most excited person there, and so sweet and funny!
Just in front of me, not visible in the photo but also “on the fence” was a young woman who filmed the entire concert in one piece, and framed it beautifully (I could see the screen clearly). I am hoping against hope that she will post it, it would be so wonderful to have a vid from my exact location! I came prepared to video, but decided to just stay in the moment and soak it all in and make videos in my head, and depend upon suz and TALC and others for real vids, and they haven’t disappointed.
I’ll do a real recap tomorrow. Loved reading the excited comments on the blog, it helped me to relive it a little bit! There are still tweets coming in on the twitter list, some with links to new vids, worth checking.
Off to interact with family and unpack. So grateful to have this site and all of you to share this with! Mwah!
I was so glad that Adam announced wryly that the new song would be on youtube the next day (he underestimated us! was it even a couple of hours?!) and I took that as permission to share it in advance of official release. Not that anyone was waiting for permission, of course, but it is nice to have his blessing!

Considering your car trouble, I’m so glad to know that you’re home, safe and sound!
When there were several days to go before leaving our homes, I posted that it would be entirely my pleasure to meet you and … it was! May I say that you looked beautiful as you entered the dining room. A couple of months ago, I said that I would buy you a martini. You said you preferred a Kir Royale. Prior to your arriving, I had asked at the Bar if I could order one for you. The confused, blank stare I was given gave me the answer.
She didn’t know what it was or how to make it. 
Anyway, I remembered. 
We were supposed to have our picture taken when we were waiting for the show but, for some reason that I don’t remember, it didn’t happen. I did have a photo taken with Ceddies but it’s her photo and I would guess she’s still in transit returning home.
Ceddies! When you read this, I want to tell you that you looked stunning in your blue dress at the dinner! I SO enjoyed the time we spent together at the Festival grounds!

Taking into account all of the photos I have of myself, family and friends, this photo with nkd is definitely one of my favorites if not my favorite of all time! It’s so genuine, so real! Not the best quality, a little blurred, but I’m going to have it enlarged and framed. I’m very grateful to jlurksacto for capturing that moment. cwm expressed it perfectly (Hi cwm!!) when she said “the joy is palpable”. One of the highlights of my trip was meeting nkd.

It amazes me that we haven’t seen one picture of Sauli going down the center. He must have really caught everyone by surprise.
Isn’t it funny that no one (so far) has a photo of Sauli walking down that aisle? It just happened so quick. I looked up and there he was…just beautiful and glowing. I was able to say “Hi Sauli”. Someone down the aisle patted him on the back and he acknowledged him with a wave. So weird to me to see Sauli up close and live after watching him for months on my computer.

I think no one was camera ready. There wasn’t much going on. We were waiting for the show to start…nothing left to take a pic of…except Sauli!!!! Who would have thunk? We all wondered if he was there.
Kradamour…I’m wondered if that girl in front of us filming every single second of the show is fiercealien…the one that asifclueless posted. It was a great spot. If it was, we were so much closer than the video shows. Best spot I’ve ever had. Even 4th row from the front at Wilkes Barre I was on the left right in front of an amp which wasn’t great…just loud.

Well, the expression “better late than never” is very appropriate right about now. I just returned from a family trip to Boston with very limited internet access. Yes, I am so sad that I missed out on all of the fun here on ALL. However, the good news is that MY party is now just beginning. I am totally looking forward to 475+ comments to read along with awesome recaps, videos, and photos. Thank you, everyone, for making this special concert come alive for all of us.

Ron, chéri – I have to say that my heart skipped a beat on Thursday evening when I learned that you had remembered my preferred aperitif! (and btw: kir royal = one part crème de cassis and 4-5 parts champagne. A kir is the same thing with a dry white wine instead of champagne, often a chablis)
It was truly wonderful to meet you and to find out for myself that every lovely thing said about you is true.
I so enjoyed our breakfast on the terrace and our time together at the concert. My only regret is that the time passed so quickly before we all began our journeys home!

Some factual errors but a very nice review.
I don’t think anyone has commented on the number of men who were in attendance at the concert. The ratio was certainly more female than male but there were lots of men in that audience. I’m sure some were there against their will
but I’m also sure most of the guys there had a ticket because they’re genuine Adam fans.
It was very nice for me to see this because I did wonder at one point if jlurksacto, eywflyer and I were going to be the only ones.

Had a great view “on the fence”, but when the umbrellas went up I couldn’t get WWFM or PH. Sometimes my arm got tired, so tried to keep the movement as little as possible.

THE STORM!
To you give you some idea of just how fierce the storm was … there were many patio umbrellas at the SpaWatel and all were ripped from the tables by the winds and destroyed. The secured pool covering blew away. During the concert, I think the whole audience swayed en masse by a blast from one of the gale force winds. Felt like a hurricane. It was one heckofa storm!
The big thing about it though … it didn’t matter! Adam used that storm as a prop!! He worked with it and used it to his advantage. It didn’t throw him one bit and we, the audience, were right there with him. We were all drenched, completely soaked but, as it turned out, it became part of the experience. I’ve never witnessed anything like it before.
ETA: I just re-read this. I’m sure it DID matter to the SpaWatel owners!
I know about the umbrellas and pool covering because I walked one of the ladies who works at the hotel to her car, on the night of the concert, at 1:30am. I don’t know any other way to refer to her except as the woman with white hair. She pointed out the umbrellas to me but she was laughing. I think I would have been crying. Anyway, I wanted to walk with her to thank her for the wonderful time I had staying at the hotel. This was typical of the staff there, she hugged me and thanked me and told me “you were all so wonderful. Wonderful people”. I would guess a couple of months ago, the SpaWatel was wondering what have we gotten ourselves into? Nice to know it worked out to both of our advantages. Very nice.

The whole trip hasn’t sunk in yet! Ive been in an OOL haze! I’ve listened to it about 3 or 4 times since we left Ste Agathe and I can’t get it out of my head. I’m walking around NY humming this absolutely perfect song. I hope I never forget that awesome feeling as Adam sang this to us. It touched my soul.

Ron, I also noticed the large number of guys at the show, more I think than I saw at any of the Glam Nation Tour. I noticed several straight guys who appeared to be there with their girlfriends and looked like they were having a great time. It was wonderful to meet you and jlurksacto, I had previously met very few gay Adam fans.
Regarding the storm, as a meteorologist I was thinking that this was a severe thunderstorm (60 mph winds) or close to it. The trees all around the venue were being blown all over the place. Glad none of the structures inside the venue such as the stage, sound booth, or VIP tent collapsed, because with those kind of winds it could have happened.
I think the friendships formed among our group during this event will endure for a long time. To me, Adam’s ability to create and inspire an entire community of people is a very special and rare thing.

Hi everyone! Headed west this morning after helping provide
xportation to the airport for peeps headed home. Waved at Ron
(and all the Toronto peeps – tks for waving back) as I went thru Toronto. Decided to do customs at Windsor/Detriot. Was worried about bridge toll cause spent all of my cash (but $2) on gas. Thank you money master (or Michigan Dept of Trans) for having a charge/debit toll booth. Stopped for night in Ohio (just) north of Toledo on I-75. A big thanks to everyone that I walked, shared food/drinks, laughed (a whole bunch), etc, with. Also the tolerant friends that didn’t laugh too loud
(tho I detected a lot of snickering) as I got frustrated
as hell cause car decided major roads were to be avoided. Obviously someone activated the wrong instruction set in the
car navi. Did see a lot of metro Montreal/suburbs that would
have otherwise been avoided. Our wondering around and my frustration didn’t cause any time probs so all was good. Again, thanks to everyone (and Adam) for making the past week a “one of a kind” trip.
