August saw Adam globetrotting to Australia, New Zealand, US, Germany, Poland, and England promoting The Original High. But the travel doesn’t stop there as he heads to South America for the first time. Queen + Adam reunite to play a series of dates there including Rock in Rio which Queen inaugurated some 30 years ago.

    I was curious as to where GT stood on Adam’s list of videos to date – it’s moved up to 3rd overall!
    53M – WWFM
    51M – IIHY
    28M – GT
    27 – NCOE
    26 – FYE
    20 – BTIKM

    I think that’s all of his videos. Definitely think GT has the potential to exceed WWFM in the next few months!

    Also interesting to me – ALN Audio views have caught up with Underground Audio views. As I recall, Underground was released second and always held a lead over ALN. So this is promising if ALN is chosen as the second single!

    Porto Alegre: Worst weather, best show.

    I make no apologies for that assessment Sao Paulo or Rio; it’s just how I saw it. A leaner and meaner set was played at this show, with the removal of ‘Save Me’, ’39’, ‘The Show Must Go On’ and ‘Stone Cold Crazy’ and a little re-jigging of the set list – some will disagree, but less is more sometimes. Another thing, this was the best I have ever seen Adam perform, he was on it from the word go. The impression I got, was he pushed back the ‘pea cocking’ as he calls it, and just went for a high-energy performance, he really seemed ‘in the zone’.

    My personal favourite part of the show was Adam’s call and response after ‘Tie Your Mother Down’ that segued into a cool little jam.

    While I agree Adam was on fire, I missed the playful”peacocking” Adam, they seemed in a hurry to get done, missed TSMGO too. Hell I could add 10 more songs and would still want more.
    I also feel like even in these shows Adam is taking Max Martin’s, less is more, advice. Sometimes with Adam I want the more, all his vocal tricks.

    I did love the call and response, have always loved that. Hell I loved the whole show, just missed some things.

    Haven’t been able to listen the the Sam Smith Bond song yet…haven’t got spotify set up on my computer….I was never a fan of Adeles Skyfall either…..although I like Eli Leib’s cover version.

    I really missed TSMGO and Save me in the last concert, to me they’re 2 of the outstanding performances. Didn’t miss 39 as its not one I ever watch.

    Sometimes less is not more…sometimes more is more!!

    Adam Lambert will perform on the “Today” show on NBC on October 7th. But will he take the opportunity to give “Ghost Town” one last boost, or will he use the platform to launch a new single? Could October 7th be the day that “Another Lonely Night” starts climbing the US charts?

    Porto Alegre was great, but I feel that Sao Paulo and Rio (even with glitches) were excellent too. In fairness to Adam, Nick has only seen him perform a handful of times, because IMHO there are standout moments in just about every show of this lengthy tour, some more than others. And “peacocking”?? Did this guy ever see Freddie live?? Queen without peacocking is like …. the Extravaganza with Martel – plowing through the music but no sparks are generated, no eyebrows raised, no rush of quickened pulses.
    I will say, this is the most I’ve seen him write about the invisible frontman, though.

    In a nutshell, she said that it is an album for those who are in the mood to dance, but there is still a touch of pop in the album. They called the music in “Underground” sexy … (LOL)… But I think the reviewer really likes “There I said it ” because she likes the combination of the music megah (majestic, splendid, luxurious) and Adam’s powerful voice.

    She said somehwere in the middle that Adam succeeded to deliver contemporary songs…
