Summer is almost over and so is the “Once In A Lifetime” tour. It has been a fantastic experience for Adam and Queen and for the many who were fortunate enough to see them live (and even for those who just saw them online). The concerts may be over soon but they live on in our memories and on Youtube (since our memories cannot always be relied upon). They will have to do for now as we wait for new music from Adam and possibly another tour in 2015. It will be here before we know it!

I can’t travel in February because I am as usually stuck at work, but I will have to go to Germany in summer. I wanna cry….
So now that I got the self-pity off my chest, I wanted to let the lucky travelers know that I can’t blame you all for not wanting to go to Germany. I am here in sunny California for a reason (or two). But really, Germany is very easy to travel because there are excellent train connections, everybody speaks English, and it is very safe. Koeln (Cologne) is a beautiful city. The TGV (speed train) makes going to Paris very fast, I have done it many times. So if you are lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time, take full advantage.

I can’t see it really happening for me…I should have gone to the Japan shows, that would have been my best chance.
I work in a preschool and they’re really bad about us taking time off during term time….the last couple of dates would probably be the only possibility as I think schools are off here for CNY..
Londons show is on a saturday, which would mean flying 12 hours friday night..getting there sat, going to the show, and flying 12 hours on sunday….not sure I’m up to that.

Don’t cry turquoisewaters! At least you did see Queenbert this summer. Many people didn’t and still won’t be able to. Save up for Adam’s tour next year. He’s a young guy. He’ll be touring for years yet, cross fingers!
You’ll get vids. As Krad and ulti said earlier and I totally agree. Glamberts do the best vids and seem to be all over so no worries. Be happy! Adam is so successful. That’s what we wanted for him and it’s all good.

I am totally dead. The tix stress, getting company stress, hotel stress, you know. Trying to network with fellow Finns who are going. Couldn’t get sleep last night much.

I wish there was a tight group going, with whom to organize things. Like you ALL I really would have liked to meet more people from here and again those I’ve met. Probably everything turns out fine, but right now I’m pretty exhausted. Still considering different flights, because with the easiest ones I should stay 5 nights. Not so into that in winter… Saw enough sights in 2012, now I want just some great shows, maybe a musical visit and other fans to flail with. But I really want to see Adam in O2, like I would have liked to see MSG.

IMHO, Glastonbury would feel the same way about them. Half of their target audience would be cut if they featured a headliner who had performed at all the key urban centres in the last 6 months.

If the UK/Euro tour is a VERY hot ticket, QAL and G might be tempted and it would be logistically possible for Queen to do it as a one-of, since the rental set-up, ticket sales are all someone else’s bother.

But imho, it wouldn’t even be thought of for this year unless the tour sells out in 20 minutes. In another year, maybe.

For anyone thinking of going to Milan on Feb 10th and looking for something to do while waiting for Prague on the 17th, The Carnivale in Venice will be in full swing all during that time. I was there a few years ago and it is fabulous!
