Thanks for asking! We’ve been in the process of moving, which hasn’t been easy with my health issues. Luckily, there is no urgent time frame and my kids have been supplying the muscle when needed. But you know how it is–I still need to look at everything to decide whether to keep, donate, or throw away.
Just had a birthday last weekend (the 30th) Happy birthday to the fellow August people, and a special happy birthday to fellow Virgos.
I’ve been reading on my cell phone and kindle, but it’s tough for me to type on them. Between auto-correct and typos,spending time backspacing and cussing, I just gave up trying to post. I’ve enjoyed the pictures and chatter.
I haven’t had a chance to listen to all of the videos. I generally try to catch WWTLF because it’s my favorite song. I listen to some of the others based on the comments.
Wish I could have seen them perform live, but I just have to make do with watching the fan videos.
My thoughts on album #3: I would hope it is almost done, but I wonder how much Adam will re-do based on his summer with Queen. I’d like to think he’s been co-writing some new stuff with Roger and Brian or they have been advising him at least.
They might have even heard some of what he’s been working on and given input. Based on that, I’m thinking a release Spring-ish. Maybe Maypril.
As long as HIS music gets released. None of this Bruno Mars last minute CRAP. (I hated that song!)
My sisters came to Florida for a visit and had an early birthday party for me. I have five sisters: one in Montana, one in Michigan, and one in Pennsylvania, and three of us in Florida. One of the things we did was to have an aura picture taken. Out of the group, the tech said I had the strongest aura of the bunch (probably because I’m the oldest!).
This made me think of Adam’s aura–how strong the energy he must send out. I would love to be in his energy field just once. Seems to be working for Roger and Brian!
It kills me that I missed this. It’s not that far for me to go to Orlando (my youngest daughter lives there.)

Ellessay, I know what you mean about moving as we have our names on awaiting list to buy a unit at a large retirement community. It could be a month or a year before a unit in our price range is available but we are starting to sort out things. It’s mindbogling how much stuff you can accumulate and I do mean stuff. I am so glad that I got to see at least one Q&A show and the Chicago one was perfect for me. Great show,lots of excitement and surprise plus lots of ALLs to meet and party with. Sad to see it end but hope it starts again next year and visits Europe and maybe South America (and a couple US shows too).

I feel like I’ve been gone for ages. And I have missed soooo much. There wasn’t a decent wifi signal in the high peaks worth squat.
(though, what it did lack in tech savy, it did make up for with pristine beauty and much needed peace)
The only consolation that I have of not enjoying my frequent doses of the Man and these spectacular QAL concerts & streams is that now I get to play catch up so perhaps it wont seem to be coming to a close quite so fast.

Not sure if he did it in Edmonton because there is no video showing it, but I’m going to assume he did.
No touching in Las Vegas 1 or 2, or in Houston.
They did not perform WWTLF in Tokyo, but has touched the light in every other concert. Just FYI!

I must say…. I’m in awe. There are so many incredibles contained in the concert & chat pages posted in these last few days. There’s enough to dine on for days & days!
The concerts look & sound absolutely phenomenal. Adam is having the time of his life… his performances beyond compare. And Queen is rockin downunder better than ever.
All the wonderful clips, vids, pics and IG’s….
Just when you think… how can our boy get any better?… Any gorgeous-er? Any more incomparable and amazing than he already is??

I mentioned the other day the upcoming adjustment for Adam and his fans as we move from the Q+AL tour toward Adam’s next solo album. This old article published on 4/14/2009 came to mind:

Ignore the somewhat negative title, the writer was actually an Adam fan. I think it’s very interesting to read through the four career paths laid out in that article now, 5+ years later. Adam’s first couple of albums did indeed feature a good deal of “club-friendly, upbeat dance music” as mentioned in the “Pop Star” section. Basically the first two albums both ended up in this pop realm.
The last part of the article “The Frontman” states that “In a perfect world, Adam Lambert would be the lead singer for a really good rock n’ roll band. Lambert has the kind of voice that awesome bands used to have at their disposal.” and later on “The problem, obviously, is that pre-packaged bands don’t grow on trees”. Of course, as things worked out, Adam has ended up being the lead singer for entire tours now with one of the greatest rock bands of all time.
Where will Adam go from here? I honestly have no idea. I’d be surprised if album #3 isn’t quite a bit different from the previous two, but don’t know in what way it might be different. What do y’all think?
