As summer draws to a close, the fall season heats up with appearances by Adam at the iHeartRadio Music Festival with Queen, on the new album “True” by Avicii and on the new season of “Glee”. A triple threat: live, on CD/MP3 and on your TV! He may not be officially working on new music but we do know that he always has something going on.

    I’m glad to hear that Avicii has joined the ranks of the famous and not so famous people who have fallen in love with Adam’s voice over the years. That voice is positively addictive. It’s also encouraging to see all the buzz and positive reviews regarding “Lay Me Down”. I love the song, but am hardly objective about anything when it comes to Adam. I hope it lives up to the buzz, is a big hit, and attracts a whole new group of fans to Adam.

    Hi all! In London now and it seems strange having Internet. I have been “unplugged” for 12 days! Can’t wait to catch up but I must admit it was nice having a break from being lured to my iPad every few minutes and actually reading books, sitting on my balcony on the ship sipping wine and just relaxing being in peace.

    Missed seeing Ladynorth but hope she is feeling better soon. My other friend met us and we had a fantastic BEAUTIFUL sunny day in Finland. Quite the change from March. I had on a short sleeved shirt! Loved it. Can’t wait to get back.

    I wore my equality pendant in Russia along with the infinity necklace Adam designed. People noticed and I actually had people approach me and thank me. That was cool. Border patrol police didn’t think it was so cool. Ha. A woman on one of my tours in Russia recognized the infinity necklace and asked it that was from Adam. She lives in Canada. It was so random. Then we heard an Adam song in a Russian souvenir shop followed by Blurred Lines. The lady ran over and was like OMG!! Great moment.

    Hope all is well here and now am getting excited to go to iHeart with Texas! 3 more days here first though. I LOVE London. Avicii posters everywhere.

    Celine Dionne is singing on Ellen. She is such a powerful vocalist. Now her and Adam I would love to hear/see.

    I am going to be just a little bit of a downer. Remember all those blog praises we used to read for Trespassing? I think it was Kradamour who asked the question “who is reading all these and are any of them credible”…or something like that. I’ve never heard of most of them.

    But am hoping the huge success of Wake Me Up will transfer to Lay Me Down. I think it will because LMD is such a great song. (from what we’ve heard, anyway). It’s that damn radio play that has all the power. Just playing the clubs isn’t going to do it unless there’s a Program manager spinning the tunes.

    Yup, radio’s the key, luval – don’t think that’s changed much. Unless his Glee stint pushes his music, still think he’s going to have to be the “backdoor” man – as he is here with Avicii – to get on radio.

    Didn’t Adam help write Lay Me Down? I do not see him getting credit, even Nile mentioned he wrote it without Adam mention. Did I make that up? Is there a place that writers credits can be checked. I love it and it certainly sounds like Adam lyrics.

    I think I am most excited to hear the Glee music when it eventually happens. Always goes to number one on itunes. I’ve said this before I think that songs like Runnin’ & Underneath would fit in perfectly with the “hookups” on Glee. Hope they find it in their hearts Smile to do original music and not just replays of old hits.

    Ryan said as much about Jessica Sanchez she sang a few songs and that’s about it, unless my memory fails me which it sometimes does. I am not a consistent Glee watcher so I might of missed something.

    Seems like this new Glee season is an almost 180 degree turn around with all the new cast additions. Hope they have good story lines for all the actors.

    I must admit I’ve been getting a bit antsy over this Glee thing. Adm was announced so long ago, and the tweet certainly implied at least a few weeks appearances….but then nothing. Several actors have been named since and they started filming straight away, info about their roles came out, even their characters names…and for Adam, zilch…..even on his last little interview (VMA red carpet?) he said he hadn’t seen anything.
    so either they’re using him for a really big story line they don’t want leaked, or its fallen through….

    If that is true about the spoiler, it makes total sense, because Curt adores Gaga, and of course, as his nemesis, Adam would steal Curt’s thunder.

    But, having Adam do Gaga, gah. I loourve me some Gaga, but, puhleeeeze, can’t he step out of the diva box a bit?

    Let’s wait and see how it plays out for real.

    Are you watching the Blonds show luval? I haven’t clicked on but it reminds me of watching a couple of years ago and spotting the Elmo jacket, now lovingly known as the Dragon Attack jacket.

    Re: Adam singing Gaga. That fits with the theory of him being part of the Broadway cast.

    ultimathule, if true that’s not necessarily it. There are several songs in each episode. And hopefully if he’s in more than one episode there will be more and more he could possibly do.
