As summer draws to a close, the fall season heats up with appearances by Adam at the iHeartRadio Music Festival with Queen, on the new album “True” by Avicii and on the new season of “Glee”. A triple threat: live, on CD/MP3 and on your TV! He may not be officially working on new music but we do know that he always has something going on.

    I think it is a possibility of an Elvis theme. So many many songs to choose from. So the Beatles…maybe Elvis…if so they are going for the heavy hitters. Especially if this is the final year for Glee.

    Wow, suddenly I feel deep sense of responsibility as an Adam fan. I haven’t been paying much attention to who follows me on twitter, but I just took a look and discovered that my twitter followers include:

    – Jason Dundas, who is the co-host of the VH1 Big Morning Buzz
    – Nights Live with Adam Bomb, which is a nationally syndicated radio show
    – KDUK, my local top 40 radio station
    – Energy Music Radio (UK)
    – Mix 94.9 – a Minnesota radio station
    – Folami, one of Nile Rodgers’ back-up singers

    I don’t even have that many followers, nor am I particularly riveting on twitter, but I do favorite a bunch of things, so that’s probably why these people/stations have followed me (that is, I favorited one of their tweets, and they followed me in return). Plus, I’m sure they want to build their followers, and following people is one key way to get follow-backs. Anyway, do you guys also have radio stations or other media people following you, and have you been strategic in what you do about it? Is there anything you think I should be doing that would help promote Adam with, say, the VH1 guy, the Nights Live national radio show, or my local top 40 station, without being too obvious?

    All the Elvis talk is interesting, I can’t think of anyone more suited to play Elvis in a movie than Adam, some of those comparison photos a few years ago were mind boggling, they were so alike.

    Hi guys! I’m back from a mini-vacay, a little tanner and a little more relaxed!

    Catching up will take some time, but, it will be done.

    One thing to report, and it is rather surprising. While driving there, we were losing radio stations, and hubby asks, I kid you not:

    “Do you have that Adam album?”

    “Umm, Yes”

    ” You know, I kind of of really like it.”

    And we listened to Trespassing every time we got in the car for 4 days.

    His favorite, RUNNIN. The first few times it came around, he asked me to play it again. Then, he started singing along to it. He kept asking to turn it UP.

    ( Mils still in shock here ) But aurally quite happy. Do I even need to say that listening to Adam sang whilst driving in my favorite place on earth with sun and beauty all around was a great sensory experience? ( Could I BE more of a Taurus?)

    Y’know, every time I see one of those early pics of Adam, tall, overweight and ginger, I wonder if he has ever discussed how he literally has lost about 100 pounds or so. He has mentioned that he was 250, and we all know that if a person admits to that, that he likely weighed even more, I just wonder if he just went on some crazy starvation diet. It was probably somewhere between his cruise job and Hair. Or started on his cruise.

    He has mentioned many times that he doesn’t eat junk food, that he tries hard to eat healthy. I know from personal experience ( most of us do too )that once you lose weight, your body just wants to be fat again. You have to avoid certain things for fear of starting a pattern again.

    No wonder he juices and treadmills. Besides it’s good for the voice to sing and use the treadmill.

    IMHO. Musings of a constant dieter.

    Thank you cwm for posting that B&W version of WWTLF. Watching it just now gave me chills….and I sit and think: how the EFF can anyone watch that (or basically any Adam vids) and not become completely enamored with the skill, depth and beauty that seems to literally drip from his every pore.
    I pray that the exposure from Glee, iHeart and Avicii collabs will prove to be extremely valuable in expanding his fan base and furthering his music career.

    Scroll to Queen + Adam was disappointed to see Freddies photo only. Am I overacting? It just didn’t sit well with me.

    firstimerob – I checked it out and my initial reaction was puzzlement. Freddie isn’t performing, Queen is. To not show a picture of Brian or Roger is strange and I’m surprised that they don’t have an issue with this. Very odd indeed! My second reaction was disappointment in not seeing one of those wonderful Hammersmith photos of Adam with Brian and Roger. Oh well – maybe someone thought the photo highlighted the rarity of a Queen performance and was kind of symbolic – who the heck knows – just a wild guess on my part!!

    sparkle Thanks for your feedback on this I find no logical reason, but sometimes when it comes to Adam I am over sensitive and need a reality check. Like you said so many great photos of Brian and Roger with Adam to choose from makes no sense.
