Good morning! Can’t stop listening to the Lay Me Down snippet. It’s infectious. I’ve sent it to a couple of people who like Adam but don’t like the EDM stuff. But I also send Wake Me Up because of the country/folk/dance connection. It’s genius IMO.
I don’t think Adam will go in this direction with new music but you never know. Everything is so up in the air right now. Since he’s not spilling anything it’s hard to know if there will even be a third album…at least for now. Glee? secret. But I like surprises and can’t wait to see what happens next.
adamized…nice that you had your birthday trip to NYC with kradamour. You loved Pippin but liked Kinky Boots. Very interesting. Hope you didn’t have the hot and humid weather like we did in Syracuse. That was awful.

Looks like Bruno Mars may be 2014 Super Bowl halftime show. Should be interesting…outdoors arena, middle of winter in New Jersey. They might be better getting someone like Avicii where the music would just swell to every inch of the stadium, even in winter weather. IMO.

That’s what I’m thinking…the noses. They do look the same today. Just look different at this angle.
Someone over at Atop says that Glee will not return until spring. That another show is going in for awhile in January. If true, Adam is going to have lots of time to do other things.
Anyone think there is a clue somewhere in Adam’s posting of the double trouble picture? Maybe playing twins on Glee? Maybe doing Glee and mentor on AI? Maybe doing Glee and judge on Voice Australia? A broadway show? The movie of Wicked? The movie about Freddie? Why is he so quiet?
I think both noses have had a bump removed/shaved off. And his mom’s might also be a little shorter?
Otherwise, I think the pics where Adam’s nose looks wider was just from weight changes. Nose changes a lot with weight gain/loss. Look at Kim Kardashian. She looked like a different person when she was pregnant because her nose was different.
Adam had a septoplasty – but, after looking at his teen pics, didn’t see a huge difference. His singing at graduation vid didn’t show anything startling compared to now.

I read an article yesterday which I cannot find now saying that Glee would come back after the Oct. 10th show the first week of November, after World Series. Can’t imagine the show (and all it’s employees) would take such a long hiatus when they said they wanted to get back to work.

Really pleased how Avicii kept the vocals so strong and prominent in an EDM track. Adam’s voice sounds amazing – spun sugar! In fact, he seems to have done that throughout the album. Some fantastic voices and textures.

I think EDM has taken a turn in it’s evolution. I feel soon, dj’s like Avicii will do their music live with the actual singers from the tracks performing on stage. Whether it’s Aloe Blacc, the vocalist on Wake Me Up, to Adam, it will be a whole new experience (and more expensive
), but what a show!!! IMO of course

But maybe they changed it after 5/13/13?

re Glee, over on MJ;s they kept saying it would take a few weeks break after the 1st 3 episodes for football or something, would come back in november.
So Wiki says the first three episodes (9/26, 10/3 and 10/10) and then it lists Nov 7th as when it returns after a 4 week break (related to baseball), but no episode title for that 4th episode, and no episodes listed after that. Last year they had the same kind of break but it was between Oct 4 and Nov 8. But once 11/8 started up again last year, they ran until Dec 13th, and then that December date is considered the “midseason” break. Last year, they returned Jan 24th, a 6 week break after the last Dec episode, but based on the announcements that came out about the Fox schedule in May (before Cory’s death) there is a planned midseason replacement show in January (Greg Kinnear’s show) and Glee will not return until late spring (when is that – April?) and continue running into the summer.
So it would appear we might see Adam in November for about 6 episodes, but then not again until late spring for another 12 episodes into summer?
If Adam is not on Glee until the Nov 7th show, he probably would start filming that around the beginning of Oct (which makes sense since he is busy until the end of Sept). And then he would stay busy for all of Oct and a little bit into Nov to film the Dec shows, and then there would be a big break from filming, presumably, unless they decide to film way ahead, and maybe return to filming in early March for April episodes?
So what is Adam going to do from mid Nov to early March? American Idol live shows as mentor/guest judge? Voice Australia? Broadway? Queen in USA?
Of course there is that pesky 3rd album to complete as well. So get that done for the Nov Black FRiday sales and promote and so on?
Soccermom, I think a lot has changed since May and they seem to have things more in control and underway now. Back then there was a lot of indecision but now they’ve already got 3 episodes filmed, more new characters (Demi, etc) and Lea committed to get everybody to work. I don’t think they’ll ask all these people to hold off til Spring. Baseball playoffs in October gives them time to work on upcoming shows and resume Nov. 7th. They’ve got promos out and buzz going. Why would they want to lose that momentum, then literally have to start over 5 or 6 months later? Just doesn’t make financial or story sense to me.
I think he already said in a twitter party or interview, no album this fall….maybe spring? Maybe no album, something out of the box?

I know what you are saying risky lady, but the mid May articles were coming from Kevin Reilly of Fox and specifically stated the plan that Glee would not return in Jan but “late spring” to continue to summer and specifically stated the Kinnear show replacing.
They could have changed that between mid May and mid July when Cory died. Although Adam was announced 3 days before Cory died in July, everyone seems to think that this was known for a longer period of time and just didn’t get announced until then. I think it was known in May when they talked about the Glee return from Xmas break being in late spring instead of January. But Demi announcement was later – in August. But that too could have been agreed upon earlier and just announced in August to separate it from the Adam announcement and be closer to the start of X factor.
Just thinking if the PTB decided to insert the Kinnear midseason replacement before and announced it in May, not sure that anything has changed that plan? I guess we will wait and see. Q3 over at Atop doesn’t even think Adam will be on the 4th episode on 11/7. She thinks he will not be on until after Thanksgiving, to permit a breather between the Cory tribute episode and the arc of a new character. In other words, have the 4th or 5th episode first and then have three episodes with Adam before the break.
Sometimes the absence makes the heart grow fonder works. Look at Downton Abbey. A measly 7-10 episodes each year! And everyone waits for the next January to roll around (to see who will die next!)
