As summer draws to a close, the fall season heats up with appearances by Adam at the iHeartRadio Music Festival with Queen, on the new album “True” by Avicii and on the new season of “Glee”. A triple threat: live, on CD/MP3 and on your TV! He may not be officially working on new music but we do know that he always has something going on.

    Here is an article associated with that old picture HK fan posted (honestly, I can’t tell which one is Adam in the group picture. Is he second from the left in the front row?)

    This 2010 article shows a picture of Adam competing in a high school talent competition back in 2000; he was the runner-up. LOL

    poor you, its you that needs to take care. Are you at home or in hospital?
    My throat hasn’t really materialised into anything, its just the beginning of term I think. I work in a kindy, and I always seem to pick up a bug at the start of the year…

    I am at home HK Fan. Have hardly even had a fever, just no energy and a cough that isn’t getting better. Went back to the doctor this morning and he heard something in my lung. It is a bummer, though, because tonight is the beginning of the Jewish New Year and I have had to cancel all of our invitations for festive family meals over the next few days.

    Awhile back asif asked about the toasts to mark special occasions. I had stopped because the toaster was broken (or rather the program that I had found on the Internet no longer was available).
    Since it’s nice to get noticed every once in a while, I decided to listen to asif and bring back the toasts.

    So this new inaugural toast goes to ultimathule for her 6000th post! Congrats ulti!

    It’s from “The Roar of The Greasepaint – The Smell of The Crowd” and written by Anthony Newley and Leslie Bricusse.

    It’s always been one of my favorite songs. In spite of the upbeat tempo and lively arrangement, the lyrics are quite sad. There was a time when I could readily identify with them. I think that the photo I chose is a reflection of those times.

    That said, it was really fun to do! Laugh Laugh

    AND, I FINALLY timed the photo to cut off at the precise moment that it’s supposed to at the end of the song!! Whew!

    Pneumonia?! I’m SO sorry to hear that you’re not feeling well!

    In the “old days”, a diagnosis of pneumonia meant you automatically had to be hospitalized. If you come down with it today, there are strong enough antibiotics to combat it at home.

    Wish I could be there to make you chicken soup and be sure that you’re tucked in at night. Wink

    I know that you’re taking care of yourself but – take care of yourself! I hope that you’ll get well very soon.

    We were in WalMart today and while checking out I heard a couple of singing notes, and I told my husband hold on and ran into the store, and sure enough it was Adam singing Better Than I Know Myself!!! I couldnt believe it, my husband was waiting and asked whats wrong, I said Adam! I am sure he things I am crazy but didnt say it. I am shocked they played a song that never made it even to the radio, I must say, it sounded GREAT! Clap Clap Clap Clap

    rs – I’m so sorry to hear about your pneumonia! How unfortunate that it’s making you miss out on holiday festivities. Do take care of yourself and get better soon. BTW, I just finished my second round of antibiotics to get rid of my pneumonia, which was hanging on for 2-3 weeks. Hopefully yours will clear up promptly!
