As summer draws to a close, the fall season heats up with appearances by Adam at the iHeartRadio Music Festival with Queen, on the new album “True” by Avicii and on the new season of “Glee”. A triple threat: live, on CD/MP3 and on your TV! He may not be officially working on new music but we do know that he always has something going on.

    Can’t open any vines, but can open most instagrams.

    I’m going to try to post my pic with Vintage Trouble, with Ty nearly laying his head on my shoulder. He’s so sweet in person, and so fierce on stage. Sound familiar? He and his bass player really smiled and laughed at my pic of Ty and Adam, and I made a small sign that said “Glamberts Love Trouble. Adam F. Lambert sent me Trouble.” What a weekend of music.

    I need to work on my tech skills for the pic. Wink

    On another note: HK stay safe. Stay warm and dry.

    Colton is cute. Just googled him. Not a fan of Coltbert. Sounds too much like Steve Colbert. Cadam, Haynbert…Nope, doesn’t work. I would prefer if he got a boyfriend whose name works better with his name – first or last. Not picky. But this guy is super cute.

    Actually it was all a bit of a let down, at least where we were, didn’t hear a thing all night.
    No school for the kids today though….weathers alright now, just a bit rainy, but they need to clear the roads from all the fallen branches and leaves.

    Just been rewatching the Iheart vids…

    I am stuck in Vegas. My flight is over 4 hours delayed. Last night I slept 3 or 4 hours and had a few cocktails over the weekend plus all day at the pool yesterday. I might die. LOL.
    I should be home by 3 am. I will do a recap. Just tomorrow, maybe. Thank god for unemployment. Smile. I would not trade one single thing though. One of the best weekends I have had in years.

    Did you see Carrie Underwood on the Emmy Award show tonight singing “Yesterday?”

    She’s the only contestant on AI that, from the audition phase, I correctly picked to go on to be the winner.

    I picked someone else from the first audition phase to be the winner during Season 8 but that didn’t turn out as I’d hoped.

    I didn’t think that she was at her best tonight at all. At all! It sounded to me as though she started off being unsure of herself and didn’t regain all that much confidence right through to the very end.

    The song “Yesterday” isn’t one that I would associate with Adam but … think of what he would do with it.

    I’m trying to imagine what it would be like if he sang that song and I can hear him caressing the lyrics of it and it sounds very good!

    Adam should have been on that stage tonight singing that song instead of Carrie.

    There. I said it. Razz

    Just my humble opinion, of course. Wink

    Carrie has not sounded good for awhile to my ears – tonight was no exception. Checked her old vids and think she sang better when on Idol.

    Adam would have brought tears to the audience eyes if he song Imagine. All Carrie did was cause a twitter meltdown over butchering the song. Imagine didn’t need to be performed with a twang and neither do it need someone doing it without emotion. It’s a beautiful song and needs the right kind singer to bring it to life.

    For those of u that cannot open vines, if u at least get a black box, folks over at Atop have instructed to scroll down and there is something to click on and then the vine plays. This worked for other Atoppers that only saw black box. I don’t have any trouble but I am using Safari on IPad right now. iPad keeps telling there is a new OS to upload and process but I haven’t done it yet. So maybe when I do that I will get black box on vines too. All these media forms keep updating their software and then the various browsers and their add on softwares have their updates to keep current. Sometimes it is just a question of waiting for them all to catch up. But try the scroll down thing if you get a black box on a vine.

    Oh my HK fan, I thought Harry Potter was playing Freddie, this is really stirring the pot, isnt it? Now we have that to stress over till its announced who is playing him. Im not sure how I feel about that.

    Adding that Adam will never wear those skimpy costumes that Freddie wore, he will need a body double for that, lolololol

    He slips into it more easily. Paul has a perfect blues and soul voice, but our songs are big and dare I say it, theatrical, and Adan fits that more easily. We’ve not discussed making an album no. But Adam is closer to Freddie. Paul was macho, but Adam is a diva. His range is staggering.

    Put this on the iheart thread but it’s general Adam stuff. I just got an e-mail from my drummer friend.

    I just watched this whole concert again after watching some earlier performances in Kiev, and London. This was a much better show! Adam was in much better voice and the arrangements were really solid here. Everyone came to play! It must have been really exciting to be in the audience. The singer from “Fun” was excellent as well! This was a really good show. There was a degree of comfortability here amongst everyone on stage. I have no doubt in saying that–ready for more shows!
