As summer draws to a close, the fall season heats up with appearances by Adam at the iHeartRadio Music Festival with Queen, on the new album “True” by Avicii and on the new season of “Glee”. A triple threat: live, on CD/MP3 and on your TV! He may not be officially working on new music but we do know that he always has something going on.

    I never thought I would wish my daughter was still living in Texas. Lol. If she was, then Winstar would be so doable, but not to be.

    I would really rather be at Queenbert this weekend. That hurts more to be missing, for me anyway.

    I told my son that Adam had a new song out today and did he want to listen to it, he said no thank you. I said it is on Avicii New album. He said Oh I listened to that today, Its good. Lol

    ulti– We’re flying in for the concert and are both leaving on Saturday. My flight home is in the evening so I’ll have some time to wander around the strip on Saturday. The trip will be short and sweet, but totally worth it. Neither of us got to see Queenbert in London, so we’re very happy that we’re able to make it to this concert in Las Vegas.

    Glee News from mjsblog

    I’ve got some brand new information on the character Adam Lambert will play on Glee.

    Adam’s character WILL NOT BE A DRAG QUEEN. There will be NO performances in drag.

    Drag was the original plan for Adam’s character, but at his request, the character will be rewritten. Adam met with the Glee writers/producers this week to discuss the changes.

    Also, Adam won’t be singing Lady Gaga’s “Judas,” also at his request. However, he’s still set to perform “Applause.”

    Production on Adam’s first episode, 5×04, begins next week.

    And that’s all I got.

    Well I for one am glad he spoke up about the drag queen thing, if it really was ever a plot plan, me thinks someone wanted to report something that was never true, so now back paddling. Adam knows what is best for him, you go Adam. Can not wait for the Queen Adam iheart, I will be away, we will be in Santa Rosa at a dog trial, taking Shady to her first dog show to view what is going one, shes gonna freak< Grin but she is doing so good, and so smart!!! I wonder where she gets it from with her namesake!!!!!

    Lay Me Down

    Legendary producer and guitarist, Nile Rodgers, who has produced hits for Madonna, Duran Duran, David Bowie, Diana Ross, and more, starts us out with some nice jazzy guitar helped up by an approaching drum, then backed by Adam Lambert’s rock-star powered vocals.     Nekkid, tchrsd and ovationimpact are also gonna be there this Friday. Good for u luval and mmm222! Gonna be awesome. I feel terrible that I’m not going but since I saw them in London, I don’t feel as terrible as I could. In Love So amazing together. Electrifying. I’ll be watching on livestream. The hotels on the strip doubled their prices for iheart this weekend! bummer.
    No Winstar for me either. I had good tickets in my basket but gave them up since no one asked me to get for them until late tonight. Should have gotten them anyway. Cry I have to work that day so no go for me there. Plus son will be visiting for the holidays so I would be a really bad mother to run away, huh? ROTFL

    So happy for all the ALLers going to Q&A this weekend and Windstar for NYE.

    I am especially thrilled for luval and mmm222 since you didn’t get to London. It will be an experience you will never forget. And Texas, you weren’t in London either, were you? Have a blast, all of you.

    And I am really glad that Adam will be on “home territory” this NYE, surrounded by loving fans, not like last year. Bali was a beautiful location but he didn’t get the experience with the audience that he loves. And I agree, the duke is the best. Waiting to hear if Mr retjenny and riskyhubby come through, too.

    Thanks rs for the iTunes festival link yesterday Heart Busy times here, my mom is going to move, I help in planning the renovation and decoration and getting rid of the stuff during past 30 years… But I can’t do much in practice, back problems still on.

    So happy for those who can attend to iHeart or NYE! I read in fb that paulanation got very got tix for NYE Smile I so wish I could join.

    I have tried to figure out about streams for iHeart. The event begins at 5 am my time, but because queenbert is last, it means comfortable around 9 am I guess Smile This is the info for watching/listening outside US. What I figured out, is that a radio station for Brazil is broadcasting audio worldwide, but if I want to watch the stream, I have to install some programs and I never succeed with those Frown Any other ways/places to watch?

    I don’t know LadyNorth. Brian May tweeted something about the live stream going out only to the US, Australia and New Zealand. I am on the way out now, but would appreciate any info about how to watch the show live. I heard that Lambertlust will be livestreaming, but who knows what quality that will be?

    Yes rs, I would also love to watch a professional quality stream when there is one… This is the vid stream that can be seen with some extra software (please see the link in my previous post for further details), the audio from Brazil radio should be heard without any extra things. But can it handle glamberts around the world? Sigh.

Floridagirl and I were at the concession gabbing away at about 6:50pm and we thought we heard music somewhere, we looked at the time and said no way…. must be a band warmup. A few minutes later her son came running out to us and said it had actually started! We ran inside and JCole ( who’s also at the Friday night Vegas show) was already finished his 5 minute set!! Grin That concert did not finish until minutes to midnight! Interminable… just to hear Adam for 20 minutes!! Cry He was worth the wait though. Looking forward to the livestream. Dayum, that’ll be about 4am for me! Well, I can go out and partaaaayyy and then come back home in plenty of time to hear their set!!

    LadyNorth, thanks to dear ron, I was able to install in one of my search engines a program that hides my IP and makes it look like I am in the States, so that whenever I want to see a blocked broadcast, hulu or MTV video, etc., I go there and it usually works. I couldn’t tell you how to do it though, lol. Can’t even remember what it is called, I just know that there and set for the US. I will try it on Saturday morning.

    Remember last years iheart Musical Festival? Billy Joe Armstrong threw a tissy fit, for cutting their set short.
    Supposedly landed him in re-hab.
    But still, I would be upset if they cut Adam’s set short. All his fans would have a tissy fit too!!!

    MJ and her source could be covering their tracks but, sadly, I think there is some truth to the story. Adam’s drag queen and Gaga references and twit pics suggest that the storyline and songs were in play. Judas was mentioned as well as Applause in the original story.

    Whether the show’s writers merely discussed it or actually scripted it, it is very depressing that Glee came up with a character who conflates LGBTQ and religious stereotypes: drag queen and Judas. It would be awful whoever played the role.

    If Adam actually turned down Judas then he gave up a song to make an important point – good for him.

    NVM, Avicii and Queen going strong. This is a great week for him.
