As summer draws to a close, the fall season heats up with appearances by Adam at the iHeartRadio Music Festival with Queen, on the new album “True” by Avicii and on the new season of “Glee”. A triple threat: live, on CD/MP3 and on your TV! He may not be officially working on new music but we do know that he always has something going on.

    Just over at Idol Forums and watched Sauli’s show. Its amazing how interested I get watching a show that I don’t understand a word they are saying. Sauli was adorable as usual and a Finnish Magazine already says he’s a TV natural and will be around a long time. He also did a little rap on a song his friend was messing around with on his recording equipment. Hope he and Adam remain friends. Wink Adam, his Mom, Danielle and most of the band still follow him on media sites. The u-tubes of LMD are reverbing in my head as I write this. His relationship with Niles started on a whim but has been nothing but win,win. Clap Chic

    So, I know this is a stupid question but has LMD been made a single in other countries where we are seeing rankings for it? If not, and you can still buy it as a single what is the difference. Signed confused. IDK

    adamized…hi! Not a stupid question at all. Was in my car this morning and had Carson Daly top 30 on the radio. Wake Me Up was number 12. I don’t think it has been number one in this country except on the Dance charts

    Should be interesting to see what Lay Me Down does. I pre-ordered the CD from Amazon but will buy the single (maybe the cd) on itunes on Tuesday. EDM music is a tough sell in this country by any artist. It’s not even been announced as the next single, has it? Hope it will be.

    LMD hasn’t been released as a single, and so far has not been announced to be. You make me is the 2nd single.
    you can buy individual tracks from an album on ITunes, or the whole album…….at least I think that’s how it works!

    What is the difference between a song being released as a single and it NOT being released as a single if you can still buy them as a SINGLE on i-tunes? Is it just press, timing, possibility of a video???

    I absolutely love WMU and the vid that goes with it. The young actress is stunning. What sort of an accent does she have???

    Another interesting question, adamized. I think “released as a single” would mean label promotion to radio for play. But if a huge number of people buy (for example) LMD and it’s not officially released as a single, would that then change the label’s mind to promote more? I don’t know. It could just mean a popular song but not good for radio play. And radio play would, of course, up the sales numbers.

    It’s crazy. Running was (I think) the most popular song from Trespassing but apparently wasn’t good enough for RCA to consider it as an official single. Actually I don’t think I know what I’m talking about! Smile Confused

    I was sure it was the 16th and noted my calendar so that I could join the party tomorrow, but it looks like I am too late for anything but emptied glasses with bits of confetti floating in the dregs, and a few overturned chairs…and OMG what IS that over in the corner!?!
    Looks like it was one hella party.

    The sabbatical is going well, btw, I have almost divested the major organizational responsibilities and have hired help for my mother for a few hours per day; I think that if someone is there in the morning to help her get her day started, the rest will fall into place. Now working on house projects and hoping to get my life sufficiently in order that I can be back here with y’all when Adam explodes on Glee!!!
    Hugs to everyone – I miss my daily Adam fix with you and the general flailing and angsting (not sure which is more fun, actually). Looking forward to spending more time here again when my life is in order.

    I’ve been hopping around lately, but no glam. It’s good to be back at home now. D Daughter wanted to spend time with cousins her age so she didn’t come home with us.
    Now more time for me to spend with my beloved virtual friends here.

    All I could get are shows that come around here.
    Went to see Miss Saigon last week. I saw the original cast in London ages ago. Still cry at the end. Next month “Wicked”. Can’t wait. I’ll just pretend Adam plays fiyero.

    This will be my first time to see Wicked. So I’m watching this to get familiar with the music.

    Good read about Sauli and his show “Sauli’s Best Friend” from a finnish Magazine, translated from atopers. Excerpt ……

    “….. American people are friendlier
    His own show does not take Sauli into the blinding flashlights but to the ordinary life instead.
    – Many people think that I just go and party on the red carpets. In the program it’s nice to show to the Finns the ordinary side of the life in LA, as well as where people are living and what their life is like, Sauli says.

    Lovely to see your fleur de lis back krads, and that you haven’t forgotten us.

    I had seen that shout out in the yahoo article mils….I wasn’t disgruntled though. Had just been answering another poster who had basically said that having a recording contract was no different to all the other Idol contestants who played music. I don’t actually watch x factor (at least I haven’t so far) so I don’t mind who they get.
