As summer draws to a close, the fall season heats up with appearances by Adam at the iHeartRadio Music Festival with Queen, on the new album “True” by Avicii and on the new season of “Glee”. A triple threat: live, on CD/MP3 and on your TV! He may not be officially working on new music but we do know that he always has something going on.

    Damn I hope the drag queen rumors are not true. I just can’t see that.
    Listened to the full LMD and I really like it. I am just not used to Adam sounding so mumbley. I can’t understand most of the words. Maybe is is just Avicii’s mix.

    My stupid question is: Where does Twitter make any money? It is a powerful communication medium, but I can’t see where one would make any $$$ by investing in it, unless they plan to allow advertising spamming and that would be most annoying, to me anyway…….

    This old MSN interview was posted on Twitter yesterday. I loved watching it again and have to admit I’d forgotten some really important information like how he takes his coffee. This was filmed before the Trespassing release. I hope he is very very proud of that CD even though it didn’t get the play in the US that it deserved. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UPBSmiHZM_k

    I’m hoping if the drag queen rumor is true it includes the non-drag queen character as well. It could be a very interesting role if managed with some respect and depth. I also hope that the 2 Gaga songs (if true) will be used for the drag queen character but are balanced out with something that shows Adam’s range and depth.

    I really hope Adam isn’t playing a drag Queen too. Its taken 4 years for the gay label to not constantly be in articles about him, but to be more about his talents…..

    Had a couple of small Adam moments last night. I went over to Macau to my friends bar opening, and we were chatting on the ferry about who was going to Clockenflap this year (a musical festial in HK that is getting bigger and bigger each year). I said we were looking at just going on the saturday. My friend said at the moment saturday is looking to be the best day performer wise, with Franz Ferdinand and chic, he said he was looking forward to Chic….So I said ooh, love me some Nile Rogers…guess who else he’s been working with for the last year!!! they all know I’m crazy for Adam, none of them knew about Adam and Nile, or Avicii.
    Then in the tapas bar they played Cuckoo, I said to the waitress, I love this artist and song, so she turned it right up for me.

    Hi angelowal…that is a very good question and one that I’ve always wondered about. I googled “how does twitter make any money” and there are plenty of links. Went to a few and didn’t understand any of the business jargon. So here is Wikipedia…a little simpler (for my mind, anyway!).

    Thanks for that beautiful interview adamized. Makes me sad and happy at the same time…especially with the touring talk. Yes, so much to be proud of with Trespassing. The era isn’t over. Like FYE it will continue on and on.

    Thanks for re-posting that MSN interview. I remember it so well. There was something really special about this one. He was so very happy and just content with his life.

    I loved how the interviewer commented about the positive energy in the room. How true. We have all felt it.

    Having a lot of fun reading here there and other places all the reactions to the Glee leaks.

    I’m not even remotely bothered or offended by anybody’s opinions. We all have them! And should feel able to express them, especially here in this sandbox.

    I just have a feeling that if Adam does appear in drag at all, it will be in context in either a song, or as a part of the plot where he is discovered to be, perhaps, in a drag show to earn money on the side from being a teacher at NYADA. I don’t think Adam would appear in drag to just be funny or stereotypical. I’m hoping that he would agree to appear in drag in order to move the plot line of Glee forward. Not to hurt his career or lend him to be type-cast.

    I just think that this year he will be leaping into a kind of stardom he hasn’t experienced yet. Between Glee, Aviici, I Heart Radio and Queen, and possibly, I hope, having Chokehold in 50 Shades, and more things, like appearing on talk shows, maybe even SNL finally. Who knows, maybe Fallon will do a musical number with him. I can see him with Nile on SNL.

    I don’t think he would “jeopardize ” all of this by being just a drag queen on Glee.

    And let’s not forget, the movies of Wicked and JSC are being cast.

    Just think, they recorded 3 more together! I don’t know and don’t care whose album they will go on just so they get heard.

    If you haven’t listened to the previews for the rest of TRUE, it’s got some really good songs on it.

    Here’s a question: Has anyone seen the “drag queen” rumor anywhere else except you-know-where? She picked up the songs spoiler saying that site was knowledgeable, and added in her own about drag queen. Now, I’ve seen the songs item picked up everywhere, but not the other, so wondering if people don’t feel it’s reputable? Sure made her happy, though. But, maybe she was played…….

    I don’t think Adam will appear with Avicii in London, too close to rehearsal time with Queen. HOWEVER, that said, Avicii does have a Vegas concert on the 21st, the night after Queen+Adam, so that could be a possibility.
    Maybe Avicii will preview one of the 3 NEW songs with Adam/Nile in London??? Would love that cause I’m dying to hear them!
