As summer draws to a close, the fall season heats up with appearances by Adam at the iHeartRadio Music Festival with Queen, on the new album “True” by Avicii and on the new season of “Glee”. A triple threat: live, on CD/MP3 and on your TV! He may not be officially working on new music but we do know that he always has something going on.

    I hope this turns out to be just a rumor. Having Adam play a drag queen seems such a bad idea on so many levels. Not thrilled about the Gaga songs either. I don’t think they have enough substance to show off his voice. Thinking Confused Struggle

    Hope the drag queen rumor isn’t true.

    Why does it seem odd to me that Brian is asking what the fans might like at Iheart? You’d think that would have already been settled. Guess these rockers just do things in the fly

    I think they already have a good idea of the set list. They just want to confirm in their minds if it is what the fans want.

    This fan wants WWTLF, AOBTD,and a Bowie duet. And Shady.

    Anything else is just icing on the cake.

    I hope big time that his Glee character is not a drag queen. He’ll be forever in the public’s mind nothing but that. We know he is so much more.

    Now, I can see him playing with genders in a song, dance number a la Glee.

    They already have Unique’s character ( transgender ), Curt, Blaine, Santana and now Demi as being LGBT. Adding Adam as a drag queen is just going overboard in an already very LGBT friendly show. IMHO

    I think the drag queen idea is a lazy and unimaginative story line if that’s all professional writers can come up with. Mils and other folks here on the blog have come up with more realistic characters and plot lines. I want Adams’ appearance to be about the music not some costume gimmick that everyone will talk about instead. After four years, he’s finally shaking the gay guy who wears too much makeup image and his voice and music are being recognized. In my opinion, this would be a huge step backwards. And to have him sing Lady GaGa songs just enforces the stereotype that gay men only love the divas and have no other musical sensibilities. I guess I just wanted him to play an ordinary guy trying to make it in the music business who’s sexual preferences were not really on display. Am I way off base here? Am I being too anxious about this?

    As far as Adam’s Glee role and songs.. I’m thrilled he is finally getting to be on the show.. No angst here. ADAM is in control and knows what he’s doing..LOL. The man is a marvel

    Somewhere I was looking it was number 2 in front of Stupid MC and Wrecking Ball, and behind a Taylor Swift song, who gets her songs anymore anyway.
    Here is hoping for a big turnout for LMD, I have it on my computer, but waiting to get it on my iphone.
    And I think Brian May is asking all the wrong questions, ya its important to find out what people want to hear Adam and Queen do, but more important is what will Adam wear, how will he do his hair, will he go all out on makeup (hope so on some of it) you know, all the really important things Laugh Laugh
