September finds blond Adam back in the US after a busy August touring Japan and Australia. What’s in store for us this month? A third single announcement? Confirmation about Idol judges (is Adam one of them?!)? More speculation of a Queen+Adam tour or possibly an actual Trespassing tour? Will he add more shows in the coming months? Even Adam’s hairdresser does not know for sure. So while we wait, continue to chat away about anything and everything Adam related. Enjoy!

    The stream was great! Adam was great! And in the duet with the contestant he was so generous. He really does manage so unbelievably well across the cultural and language barriers. Truly a world star!

    ETA, I guess the guy wasn’t a contestant, but a Chinese Rock Star

    Was this just my impression, but Adam didn’t seem relaxed.And he wasn’t too impressed with contestant singing WWFM.
    I love how “WWFM” is associated with Adam forever. Not Pink. Adam. It’s like “My Way” will be always Sinatra song, not Paul Anka’s.

    Big stadium. Adam looked good. Huge audience for him. Hope it translates into big sales. They gave him a great welcome.

    rs, Adam is truly professional and generous singer.I have never seen him trying to overshadow a person that he is singing with,even tho he can do it so easily. He is just THAT good. Doesn’t ave to prove anything.
    I remember watching Kiev Queenbert, when he is singing WWRY with Ukrainian singer. Maybe it was how mikes were working, but difference in voices was obvious. And Adam wasn’t even trying.

    I thought the guy was a contestant just not a finalist.

    I thought Adam did great and seemed to enjoy himself in the duet. I think he does an amazing job when in a foreign country looking at people talking and seeming interested while waiting for translations.

    I agree Oksana, We saw it as far back as his “duets” with Kris. And on those (Crazy and WATC) they alternated verses since they so obviously couldn’t sing together, and Adam toned himself down. I always loved his duets with Allison. They brought out the best (or maybe beast, lol) in the both of them.

    glambotgram, I am still watching and that guy who Adam sang with is not one of the finalists. Unless he is a contestant who didn’t make the finals, I would assume that he is a well known Chinese singer.

    ETA: Just watched again, and he seemed to also take out the BS in “I ain’t got BS in my bag.” I would think that it would be quite difficult for an artist to remember to make these changes when singing live in other countries.

    Got up early and started reading through the thread and stopped an awful lot to click on pics and videos. Thanks to everyone who posted stuff.

    I loved WWFM and, if Adam seemed awkward in any of the interchanges on the interview show or The Voice, it seemed rather sweet to me. I like him when he is a bit diffident and unsure. Am dying to see the moments after WWFM because the guy he dueted with was apparently overcome. Is that correct?

    The sweetest gift imho was the banner “Adam loves Sauli”. The world has come a long way hasn’t it? Wish it would just move a little bit faster.

    I am probably alone on this but I wasn’t totally happy about Trespassing. Adam’s vocals were impeccable but the backing music was inaudible. I think the people listening at home may not get into the song because of that. Of course, it is #2 on the Hong Kong radio chart so I guess it might not matter but, still, newbies did not get the full idea of the song.

    NVM, the audience seemed to know the words.

    WWFM was lovely – that contestant was overwhelmed.

    Those videos from China were fabulous! The Chinese guy sang the first part of WWFM better than anyone else I’ve heard other than Adam. The difference in their voices was apparent once Adam joined in, but it was still a very nice duet. Trespassing was amazing! Perfect vocals, attitude, everything (except for no ass). I agree with dcglam, it must be tough for anyone to remember to censor themselves while singing live. The best part of this performance, though, is that it reached so many potantial new fans.

    Okay – last night! There were only 9 Adam songs available and, in the end, we sang 4: WWFM, IIHY, NCOE and Want. (We also tried Mad World but the words and music were off-sync.)

    A guy from Toronto, who I have never before seen at a Glambert get-together, got up and gave an amazing performance of WANT. I had never heard it due to the bootleg cd boycott but it’s a great song and he sang it so well that I am now dying to hear Adam sing it.

    The rest we sang together, even though there were only 2 mics. luval, I am sure you would be okay doing that. Also, some of the songs have choruses which are perfect for the shy-at-heart.

    Ron gave an amazing performance of “Somewhere” from West Side Story, which I think was partially video’d by Adbertdaily but, beyond that, we were having too good a time to record for posterity.

    We sang a lot of other songs (had to abort an Elton John song because it was beyond our mutual range) and we ended with Ruby Tuesday, which was perfecty suited to the limitations of our collective voice.

    We had a AMAZING time and are thinking that we should have Adam’s 2013 birthday celebration there in a bigger room. With a bit of practice we can all perform group versions of selected songs and have a blast!

    Omg IMO I have never seen Adam look so gorgeous then when he walked out on stage for that duet. That black leather jacket up the neck was to die for. And I LOVED his hair! I loved the duet an I thought the guy was great and Adam was wonderful with him.

    And yes, TLKC …almost no music behind Treapassing!

    OK. I have to say it. Adam looks like a chauffeur in some of those award-giving pics – a very good-looking chauffeur, minus the cap. Maybe the kind of chauffeur they have in those corny romantic novels but still, a chauffeur.

    I have to say that was a great duet between Adam and the Chinese kid and I also loved how fantastic the staging was. Adam looked like a superstar, really handsome and very confident.

    After more than three hours I finally turned off the live stream. I figured that it must be almost over and that Adam wouldn’t be back. And now I see that I missed another Adam moment and that it is still going on!!! I looks like they are recapping the whole season. I guess that we are lucky that Adam came on so early in the show.

    What a fantastic karaoke Bar! Totally unique. I’ve never seen anything like it. It was all so plush and elegant, too!

    Click on “Photo Gallery”. The 3rd photo is the room we were in.

    You see, there are all of these individual rooms of varying sizes that you can rent for the evening and have a private sing-along with friends.

    The catalog was so thick, there must have been 5,000 songs to choose from that you’d then program into the karaoke machine. Then, in the order that they were keyed in, they’d pop up on the wall screen with a video and lyrics.

    I thought the 2 videos of Adam singing on The Voice were so good, the contestant was good, but after Adam came out you could really hear the difference in their voices, Adam sounds so smooth, like butter, it actually made me choke up. He should be a star well he is, but a Super Star, I dont think so people can appreciate that voice, or just dont care, they arent very intelligent I guess. Well they can go listen to Beiber, and watch him grab-oh, never mind.
    But I must say, what was the Choo Choo train doing in the back ground on the screen, I was kinda laughing at that.
    The audience seemed to love him and was singing along with the songs.

    Very nice to see Adam’s benefit concert written up on the front page of the Washington Post Metro section today. The headline reads MD to see ad war over same-sex marriage. The article talks about the very diverse audience in attendance on Tuesday evening as well as Adam’s views on Question 6…”It’s a human rights issue”.

    The number of pics coming out of China is overwhelming and they’re all so beautiful. Adam just looks spectacular right now, I can hardly get over it. And the videos of Trespassing and WWFM are fantastic. Adam looks like such a star on that stage, and he is so supportive of that contestant during their duet.
