September finds blond Adam back in the US after a busy August touring Japan and Australia. What’s in store for us this month? A third single announcement? Confirmation about Idol judges (is Adam one of them?!)? More speculation of a Queen+Adam tour or possibly an actual Trespassing tour? Will he add more shows in the coming months? Even Adam’s hairdresser does not know for sure. So while we wait, continue to chat away about anything and everything Adam related. Enjoy!

    All you “even-handed generalists” and “reluctant fans” crack me up. I have no idea who is who over there, and I guess I am just too lazy to invent different names and personas for myself. I think it’s good to keep things cautiously friendly, and I get a big kick out of jlurks blatant pro-Adam stance.

    re Trespassing: Should have been the first single IMHO. Distinctive, fun, ties the album to the single, Adam does a great job doing it live. Of course I have no idea how it would go over with the general public, but we have learned that boring (sorry!) (BTIKM, NCOE) is not the way to go.

    Agree…Trespassing should have been the first single. I have more confidence in it getting played than the others. Especially since, according the the younger generation, it’s wayyy more fun and dancey than the other songs. My daughter and her friends (consisting of 17-24 year olds, both gay and straight) love the first half of the album…they skip the latter. Funny thing, they were OK with the first singles until they actually heard the rest of the album and then thought…WTF?!? Why did they release those as singles?? My thoughts exactly.

    LOL ” MJ” better get down on her knees and pray the Adam get the job. The thread is at 388 and thats not counting the 50 or more she deleted, would have hit 500. If the others mentioned, what will the thread hit 10? lolol. Look at the thread count of the other idols that she thinks are so great, look at the thread count of the last 4 WGWG winners lol. Adam sure brings out the lovers (ME) Waving)and the haters.

    I think Adam has the Idol job wrapped up and am looking forward to all the promo for it…

    I haven’t watched idol since Adam’s season but will be tuning back in now….

    Love the picture above….He is sexy and I hope he is starting to realize it. It broke my heart when he was saying about some artists he is so excited to meet and they say oh Hey….I’m sure it brings him right back to his grade 7 year when he would hate lunchtime….You know how some artists when they get big, they change….I don’t think Adam ever will because of all the challenges he has faced.

    Yes, Miss Chaos – the over-praising of every note out of Kelly is almost funny. The latest performance, “Cry Me a River,” was not good at all. And KC’s outfits – what is she? – 13. Like a number of her recordings, but find her live performances mostly a big bore – especially annoying, for me, is that constant, repetitive up-and-down left arm action.

    Re: Trespassing (the song): A friend of mine went to a Wine Society Dinner/Dance (sounds pretty stuffy). She tucked her Trespassing CD in her bag. The dancing started with slow dull music. After a few numbers she went to the DJ and ask if he would play “Trespassing”. She said it only took a few minutes until the tempo changed completely. Everyone caught on to the clapping part and had a ball. It was requested again and again thru out the evening.

    I have decided that if Adam gets Idol OR Trespassing hits it big I am going to buy a dozen yellow & black balloons and string them in the front of my house. It’s a pretty busy street.

    Hey luval, maybe we could play “spot the band” and look for Ashley, Tommy and Sauli in the audience. That video was hilarious – they couldn’t sing at all but they knew the words and that’s what matters.

    Here’s hoping Trespassing takes off – I think it’s an amazing song and agree that it should have been the first single. NVM – better late than never.

    Well turquoisewaters I may only be even-handed in my own mind. Could be a “foaming at the mouth” partisan in other people’s eyes. Just to reassure you, I am not on the site with two different personas at a time and I never talk to myself or agree with myself or back myself up or anything like that.

    I just found myself entered under my twitter name on the site one day about a year ago and just started commenting under that name for Glee and Idol posts. Got tired of Glee and barely posted for Idol this year. The fan warring starts so early, it takes the fun out of the show for me.

    Haven’t used TLKC in over a year and likely won’t – unless I get banned for metaphorically bonking “Jean White” or “everything” on the head. Then I might come back as TLKC.

    I think Ron should sign up under a new name – maybe “Nor” would work or Ron@camp, which is what the AO members did when they were banned. They just used their old names and added @camp so everyone would still know who they were.

    Which reminds me, I officially left AO yesterday. There was a post that was bugging me called; “What’s simmering on the pot and about to explode?” and I wrote: “I am” and then I explained why. Then I signed off. They won’t miss me. There’s only 5 of them left anyway.

    AO was always too confusing to me with all the “nodes” or whatever they are called. I never could find the one I was on before.

    Love that Lance Bass and Adam pic. Nice to know that they have met. It is a bit weird about the band but Brian and Isaac weren’t there apparently. Maybe they couldn’t make it.

    Silver star jlurksacto – it would have been a gold star if you had found him in the first pic. I wonder where Ashley stood. Someone said Sauli moved up to the front – I guess people recognized him and there was a parting of the waters, so to speak.

    Tommy has a purse or clutch or iPad binder in his arm. It goes with Adam’s hair.

    I don’t know about AO nodes but someone started a thread about “what’s simmering on the pot” and they all go there now. The front page has little action going on because all the interesting topics are subsumed into that one. A newcomer would check in and see very little of interest in the discussion titles. Meanwhile, the old timers are discussing everything in that one thread.

    It’s as though someone gave them a whole playground and they decided to stay in a 10′ X 10′ square. It feels clique-ish.

    The site is barely moderated any more – that’s the real problem.

    No, not yet as of yesterday. I would have thought that since the turtle might be able to swim here that the DVD would arrive sooner than if it had traveled by land. Maybe Canada customs is watching it and then making copies before sending it on?! Wink

    Kradamour– I also noticed how respectable Adam looked looked yesterday, especially considering the setting. It’s not like he was wearing a 3 piece suit…but even the spikey shorts in all their dorkiness would have been more risque. He did look great, though, and I do like the new Trespassing vest.
