September finds blond Adam back in the US after a busy August touring Japan and Australia. What’s in store for us this month? A third single announcement? Confirmation about Idol judges (is Adam one of them?!)? More speculation of a Queen+Adam tour or possibly an actual Trespassing tour? Will he add more shows in the coming months? Even Adam’s hairdresser does not know for sure. So while we wait, continue to chat away about anything and everything Adam related. Enjoy!

Looked at MJ’s. One of four posts left. All were nonsense so no biggy.
At least I’m not banned – yet. Adam and Idol judge. He would tell if
he was NO LONGER in the running. He can’t say if he has the seat (y’all
know I think he does) or is still being considered. The judges panel has
been finalized and everythink leaked/reported now is for buzz. All the
names being thrown about are smoke and mirror. JMHO and all that s**t.

Oh, and I still know where th PO is and can burn DVDs. So if anyone wants
Kiev Queenbert concert DVDs just email – address here http://www.adamlambertlive.org/2012/adam-lambert-fall-2012-concerts

Just got back from the grocery store & had a couple of Adam moments. I am wearing my grey tee with 1″ black letters on the front saying “Adam Lambert”. I made it.

Anyway, walking through this packed mass of humanity a little old man with a cane…he must have been 90…says to me “ADAM LAMBERT!” And I say “you know who Adam Lambert is?”. And he says “Everyone knows who Adam Lambert is”!!

Then, leaving the store…keep in mind I have 2 Adam Lambert signs on my car windows & also a Trespassing sign on the back…as I’m pushing my cart this guy says to me “Another Adam Lambert sighting” (he’s reading my tee). Then starts laughing and says…”you must have the car with Adam’s name on it. We parked right next to it. I figured it had to be you. What are the odds of 2 Adam Lambert sightings in one day?” I should have told him it wasn’t my car. LOL

  3. PlanetFierce says:

Jlurksacto I am sorry for not saying so a couple of days ago, but I received the DVD and I am so grateful for your generosity and kindness. It is so special to have Adam on my HD TV rather than my phone or computer…..much better. Again, you are one of a kind and we are sooooo lucky to have you here with us!!!

  4. cwm says:

I was just over at MJ’s and I absolutely loved your post cwm. The two videos you put up were answer enough to the negative nabobs of negativism and I put in a “like” and a happy reply.

Thanks TLKC, but that post got deleted, durn it! All of my other posts are still there, but that one is gone. It was innocuous, but MJ probably deemed it too off topic since it was about Adam’s ability to connect with his audience while performing rather than about his being a judge per se. Oh well!

  5. cgesq says:

    Hi All,
I wanted to thank everyone for the wonderful outpouring of support a few days ago. I knew I could count on my “Adam friends” (as my family refers to all of you!) for love and strength.

Sparkle,, I love the HT&P acronym! I will use it myself when I am wishing others well, if thats ok!!

TLKC, We did meet in London a few times, but most memorably, on line for the Queen concert on the 12th (I am Marilyn’s friend…she told me I could use her name here!)

Now, back to Adam… Love the pic, but I’m not such a fan of the blonde hair. I prefer him with black hair. To me, it highlights his amazing, piercing blue eyes, which I can never get enough of!! Chic

Hope all of you who celebrate Labor Day have a safe and happy holiday. I chose today to listen to the 69-video loop of Adam Lambert Top Tracks on You Tube, so I’m here enjoying the surprise of what comes next from Adam. Some of them have been a real surprise (like a karaoke, instrumental of Mad World). Nice way to spend a quiet day by myself. Opening game of this year’s football season later today, so the town is really alive. I’ll brave the traffic later to go watch the game at a friend’s house on a bigger screen than I have. But for now, back to our Mr. Lambert….

  8. TLKC says:

Holy cow cgesq! We more than met. So sorry -I have trouble connecting online names with everyday ones. So glad I found that out. Please take care my dear.

I can’t believe that MJ deleted your comments cwm. I wonder what’s left there.

  9. cwm says:

TLKC – no worries, only one of my posts got deleted, not all of them! The only one that got deleted was the one in which I posted the videos of Adam’s Mezamashi show, as an example of Adam’s ability to connect with his audience (in response to someone who said Adam had no connection with his audience LOL). I thought it would be fine, but I suspect that MJ thought it was too off-topic.

There’s still plenty left on there – up to 282 comments now, 95% of which are about Adam!

  10. Ceddies says:

Cry I hadn’t realized how much I miss Glam Nation and the dancers. Wanh!!!!!

  11. turquoisewaters says:

Nice picture there on top. Now imagine this is Adam sitting on that judges panel with that little smile. I’d just melt.
MJ should pray that Adam in on Idol. It would do wonders to her blog traffic.

  12. TLKC says:

I was just over there – nice traffic. It would be great if we could get that thread up to 400 comments – that was Adam’s usual post – count, remember? Who is “alter ego”? Is he a fan of some other idol or does he just like to push buttons? Honestly can’t get mad at anyone over there. I actually saw “clearone”. Haven’t seen that name in a long time.

In keeping with my attempt to seem even-handed, I put it out there that Enrique has cancelled his Sunday night concert and no one bit. I think they are having too much fun squabbling over Adam to shift gears away from him.

  13. luval says:

The one that bugs me over there is “everything”.

  14. TLKC says:

Great story luval – it would have been hilarious if you had told him it wasn’t your car.

I have a wonderful story to tell, too. My sister knows a family with a 7-year-old girl who is crazy about Adam so I bought her the cd. In return I just received a lovely hand-made card that said “I love you” and “I love Adam”.

I wasn’t expecting it and I was thrilled.

  15. luval says:

haha TLKC. I didn’t think quick enough with my response. I keep a cd in my car & could have gifted the second guy, but I was too far from the car.

Every retail store I go into does not have Trespassing. They probably sold out the first batch and never ordered any more.

  16. TLKC says:

LOL, I just got a #FF Follow Friday from Cher – I usually call that a #SS Slowpoke Saturday.

You can relax luval. It looks as though everything has taken the weekend off (or maybe the title of the post was too much for him.) I don’t know why I always imagine that the posters who don’t like Adam are male. Why is that?

  17. TLKC says:

Re: Enrique – the NY Post article about Enrique rejecting the Idol position has been posted on his fan site and the comments are 95% supportive of his decision. Almost none of his fans want him to do it. Good.

As for any other Latino judge – it’s a bit too late to be running after others.

Idol may have Adam in the wings because Enrique’s interest level is low and both Nicki’s and Keith’s contracts have conflict problems. (Coke/Pepsi and The Voice Australia). It is within the realm of possibility that one of the three possibilities will not work out.

That’s my NEW story and I’m sticking to it.

  18. luval says:

Which soda is Minaj connected with …Pepsi or Coke? I think Pepsi because I caught the tail end of a commercial with her.

Oh I think “everything” is a male too. Not sure why. But I swear there was a post a couple of hours ago and now it’s gone. I have “liked” many posts over there. Kind of stalled at 286. Will try to think of something else so the number goes up. I’d like to see it hit 300 too.

Looks like Adam’s part of the show isn’t until after midnight tonight California time. No twitter no nothing!

    http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=10932849&l=1745892524&id=252558399090

    eta: 300 and counting!!!!

  19. JOJOSIE says:

Good news here as my summer Fault just arrived. The label on it was very odd, not neatly printed one like was on the Adam issue. The only thing I’ve looked at in it is the Sauli part. Besides being very cute he seems so down to earth and grounded. My oddest Adam moment was with a young carry out girl at the grocery store. She was helping a friend of mine and I stopped to talk with my friend and the subject went to my recent trip to Des Moines to see Adam. She freaked out about my actually seeing him. I din’t go into my two M&G’s, even. The next time I went to that store I took along a copy of the c/d. She said she couldn’t accept gifts from customers. I asked where her supr. was and he was just a short ways away and I sweet talked him into letting her have the gift. I usually wouldn’t gift a stranger but she’s the type of new fan he needs.

  20. ultimathule says:

Good for you, JOJOSIE – just gave one to my nephew who seemed interested – listens to a lot of local bands (Atlanta, etc.) – likes Queen, though.

  21. AL says:

I posted some new videos (thanks to ALF club on Facebook) from the Take 40 gig that was televised on 09/01 in Australia. See the 4 vids from Channel 11 embedded under “Videos” on that thread.

  22. TLKC says:

She’s Pepsi and a spokesperson for the company has said that they won’t stand in her way but who knows how Coke feels? They might just be fighting over whether Nicki has to have a red cup in front of her. Coke could be difficult if they wanted – they may want an embargo on Pepsi ads during the Idol season or just TV ads – who knows.

    I bet she’s on tenterhooks.

How is it in the discussion over at MJs that Clay is being discussed as a judge. Was he ever considered as a judge, or is it just in their dreams! Sheep 2 Sheep 2 Sheep 2 Sleepy Sleepy Sleepy

  25. Oksana2000 says:

Discussion on MJ’s is still going strong. How did Clay get into Idol Judge equation?? Or is it just wishful thinking of few remaining Claymates??

  26. luval says:

I think Clay’s name just came up like any former Idol’s name and people jumped on it and continued the talk.

  27. Oksana2000 says:

luval, thanks. For the life of me I couldn’t name even one Clay songs. Were his albums basically just covers?

  28. Oksana2000 says:

I’m listening to TheFlea AL Hour. It is interesting to see how many requests are for bonus tracks. I wonder if Adam is regretting now not including Running and The Map in the basic album. To tell the truth when I listen to TS I start with Chokehold and end up with The Map.
    My ear candy.

  29. luval says:

I was a huge Clay Aiken fan. He is the only other person other than Adam I ever voted for on AI. I loved his back story, his transition from geek to not so geek LOL, the closeups the camera used to do on his face. I thought he looked so angelic. I have 2 of his cd’s. But that was then, this is now. I liked him on the Apprentice & wish him well, but no to Idol judging.
Here is the song I loved by Clay. And he did Bridge Over Troubled Water too.

  30. adamized says:

Oksana2000, I was just thinking after watching the Take 40 Live Lounge audience saying that they hoped Adam would sing WWFM, that he may want to consider integrating additional dark side songs into his live performances. So far (other than at the very beginning) he has only included Chokehold and Broken English. Though I love them both I think Underneath,Running, and The Map have the potential to be more popular.

  31. TLKC says:

I was part of the Clay conversation. It was a case of an Clay fan pointing out that Clay had a lot of desirable judging characteristics. I said that I saw him on Apprentice and he was the “most-liked contestant” and someone implied I was a Claymate and therefore an unobjective fan. I had to tell them that I had never seen him on Idol and couldn’t name a song to save my life.

No one thinks Clay is considered; for me it was just another 10 posts towards Adam’s 400. Preview of the fan wars to come if Adam is a judge.

Apparently it’s not okay to say you like any Idol over there except for Kelly and Carrie.

  32. luval says:

    Hi Adamized.

I really can’t wait until this whole Idol thing is over and done with and we can move on. I hope on his off time Adam is slowly putting together a shell of a Trespassing tour. Then and only then will we get Underneath & hopefully Running & The Map. Wonder what will be the Pick Me Up of the tour? A song we will never hear live.

Back to Idol….I still think he knows one way or the other.

  33. Ceddies says:

Oksana, this is a Clay song from 2011. I really liked it. But he is not Adam Lambert.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nmjW2YIw2yc&feature=fvwrel

  34. Oksana2000 says:

luval, I started watching Idol at Season 5 and at that time I’ve never heard of Clay. In the matter of fact (not until I discovered MJ’s around August 2009) I’ve never heard of many Idols and Idolettes with the exception of Kelly/Carrie/Daughtry.
Winners and Runners-up were forgotten in a matter of seconds after season ended.I was out of Idol Bubble person. It all changed with Adam.
I follow him for my own pleasure cause I find him enormously entertaining as an artist and as a person. He is reinventing himself continously and I find this exciting. If he fails it is not for the lack of trying. On the other hand Clay, Cookie and Kris seem to be stuck in the same routine.

BTW, was that Clay’s song an original or cover?

  35. Oksana2000 says:

Ceddies, yes he is not Adam Lambert. They are the same age but he sounds so old fashion…he could be easily added to my Pandora Neil Sedaka Radio..

  36. jlurksacto says:

fan wars to come if Adam is a judge.

    If?

  37. luval says:

Oksana I tried to find the orgin of This is The Night. I thought it might be from a Disney movie but didn’t find anything to say that. It was the biggest selling single of 2003, though. I think it may have been written for Clay but not sure.

  38. Oksana2000 says:

A little OT, but I just read Pink’s interview in which she said that if radio won’t play your songs you are DOA. She mentioned how radio hated her and never played her songs of her first three albums and she couldn’t make it no matter what.

Rgerding Scotty, I want to see his sophomore effort, before I anounce how successful he is.

  39. jlurksacto says:

This Is the Night”, released on June 3, 2003 on the RCA label, was American Idol contestant Clay Aiken’s debut CD single and was written by Chris Braide, Aldo Nova and Gary Burr.

    Google.com is your friend

  40. luval says:

Aldo Nova, one of the writers on This is the Night was one of my favorite artists in the early 80’s with his song Fantasy.

And they say Adam dresses a little crazy…Here’s Aldo Nova:

  41. Oksana2000 says:

Jlurk, when Adam is judge, MJ might need some calming therapy before having nervous breakdown…
How did she survived Clay/Ruben fanwars?

  42. Ceddies says:

Oksana, re: the Clay song that I posted, I’m pretty sure that was an original that was at least co-written by Clay. I’m not a Clay follower, but did like that song.

  43. Ceddies says:

No, I’m wrong. Clay didn’t co-write on that song according to Google.

  44. Oksana2000 says:

Ceddies, I don’t like the arrangement. It’s so yesterday.

  45. Oksana2000 says:

Shall we get Adam’s thread on MJ’s to 400 posts? I know we can do it… Smile

  46. jlurksacto says:

How did she survived Clay/Ruben fanwars?

I would think with a lot of tranqualizing drugs, drink of choice, or lots
of food. I didn’t find MJ’s until Adam on Idol, so don’t know what went
on prior to that. Trying to find out when MJs started but striking out.
    Not even a wikipedia entry.

  47. Oksana2000 says:

Jlurk, MJ’s just went on deleting rampage. Some of my VERY innocents posts are gone. That woman is a byotch.
    I give up… Frown

  48. dcglam says:

A little OT, but I just read Pink’s interview in which she said that if radio won’t play your songs you are DOA. She mentioned how radio hated her and never played her songs of her first three albums and she couldn’t make it no matter what.

Oksana, did you come across any information as to how things eventually turned around for her? I love P!nk and hear her quite frequently on the radio here in DC. I’m glad she persevered throughout those trying times. Her later albums have done very well. As a matter of fact, her latest album (#6) is due out this month (as far as I know).

  49. jlurksacto says:

Clay/Ruben were season 2 (2003?) Don’t know when MJs started. going to jump
over to MJs. Like to read her comments (when she leaves them) when deleting
    or censuring posts.

Found this about mj & the blog

Santilli started her website in November 2005, before the show’s fifth season. For an “Idol”-themed page – “I love this cheesy show” was her tagline – she started hunting down the names of contestants who made it through the lengthy cattle-call auditions that precede the live-TV contest.
