It’s time for our September chat thread. Hopefully this will be the final relatively quiet month before Adam’s new single is released. As always, please keep the posting guidelines in mind, and welcome any newcomers. Enjoy!

    I suppose I should just speak for myself. I’ve been viewing the questionable pic with a magnifying glass held up to my monitor!!! Yep, it sure does look like our boy…. Eek!

    Anyhoo. In keeping up with memories of last year’s multiple show Labor Day concert fun-fest. One of the funniest moments came outside the hotel when a bunch of guys came up to us to talk about the car, and one of them was a young cutie pie, who said he had made out with Adam the fall before in Atlanta. We had so much fun with them while this guy was positively swooning that Adam was nearby.

    A year ago today, at this time, I was back home, having Labor Day dinner at my sister’s house. I was on a post-experience high to be sure. My sister looked at me during dinner and told me I was sparkly. I know, I said. I had residue from my glitter hairspray all over me. It took weeks to completely wash off.

    Then I went to Hawaii.

    Apparently Adamtopia is having an anniversary also – loved the nice things that posters said about their sandbox. Smile I rarely go there – too many threads, too small type – but there are few discouraging words there, it seems like another safe place.

    Anxious to see Sauli’s pics. Although the probably won’t be of Adam maybe we’ll see where he slept, what they ate and drank etc.

    Morning! Doesn’t Adam know that we live vicariously through him and that he needs to document all the fun he is having Smile

    I imagine that he was so happy to be in a community of free spirits that didn’t have their cell phones out 24/7. He probably was also very happy to put his cell phone down for awhile and be silly and creative without fear of the paparazzi. Not sure how they kept the cameras out but keeping my fingers crossed that nothing shows up on TMZ.

    I would love reading Sauli’s take on the experience. I hope he loved it.

    No, I don’t expect photos of Adam, Sauli is wonderful about that, but pics of what they did are what I am hoping for.

    I am thinking that Adam’s creative juices had to be recharged at BM and we will see/hear the benefit of that in the final touches to the album. So glad he went!

    I think Adam is very popular and well-known in Eastern Europe. Bulgaria, Ukraine, Hungary, Slovenia, etc. – I saw one YouTube where every single comment was in Bulgarian (there’s a petition on twitter for him to perform in Kiev.) Also, Iran and South Africa. There’s an Iranian fansite, for heaven’s sake! He really is GLOBAL. Love it, and love those fans! The Russian twitter is very active, they find all kinds of interesting things and really help promote Adam.

    I just had a great conversation with someone at my work who, it turns out, just got back from Burning Man. This was his second time (first time was 2 years ago). It was fun to get a first-hand description from him. He said that it’s a real trip.

    I happened to be at our community library today and noticed that there is a new biography series in the young adult section entitled “Megastars”. They had individual biography books on Pink, Miley, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, and the Jonas Brothers. All I could think about was how Adam should be next. I feel they do need to incorporate both biographies from True Hollywood Story and Behind the Music into one fabulous book. What a huge seller that would be!

    Over on twitter folks are posting about “what kind of life do we have” when we spend 22 mins. listening to two cuties giggling in Finish? I have to admit it was fun. I didn’t think for awhile they’d actually go to burning man, but I guess the excessive silence from Adam and Sauli may have been a hint. Katri actually gave it away several days before we knew as she told someone that Sauli would be late for their show as he was in (translated)awful Nevada. Glad they’re home and hope they went to the release party for Alisan’s bands album and there are pictures. Randy will be there as he’s their producer.

    Hahaha, Jojosie, I think you’re right about Sauli. And back during Idol, didn’t Adam say he was messy and Kris was neat? I guess he got his opposite again. Even without the translation, Sauli and Katri are just so likeable, and have such great laughs and chemistry I just enjoy watching them.
    This Video is my FAVORITE of Sauli’s. It shows how talented he is, apparently adlibbing and playing multiple characters spot-on. Hilarious, and Burning-Man worthy. I can really understand how Adam is so in love. I think I am too lolol!

    riskylady…I think I’ve mentioned before how I have really begun to be enthralled with Sauli. What a sweetie and funny too. Great video. Wish it was in english. lol! At first I thought he may not be sophisticated enough or artsy enough for Adam, but I see now through his blogs too what an interesting guy he is, although IMO just a bit naive…but in a good way.

    I wonder how secure Sauli feels in the relationship as both of Adam’s ex’s live in the LA area also. Adam being so open about being in love must help. I follow both Drake and Brad(Cheeks)on twitter. Drake is very low key and artsy and rarely post, but Cheeks who was Adams other real love is posting all the time and is starting a new Internet show, called Husbands. It’s about a same sex marriage. It really looks interesting, good writers and Cheeks has one of the leads. I wondered when it first was being tweeted about, Cheeks was starting to do his hair like Sauli’s. I noticed Sauli changed his shortly after that to the silver mohawk, probably a coincidence. There was a rumor that Cheeks went to Burning Man also but not sure thats true. I’ve always liked Cheeks, but I think Sauli is better for Adam. He is so cute and seems to just glow. I think I need a life.

    Hi!

    It seems I’m missing out on a lot of things by not being a member of Twitter. Several months ago, I did register and began following Adam, Eber and several other people. Two weeks into my membership, I received an email from Twitter informing me that my account had been compromised and that I needed to change my password. Someone else was using my name and photo to make posts. I changed the password but, since I never tweeted anything myself, I canceled the account. Maybe I should give it another shot.

    New avatar photo taken today to reflect the additional weight that I’ve lost. I was able to shed 8lbs. before going to Ste.-Agathe and I’ve since gotten rid of another 8lbs. I think the last time I weighed 142lbs. was when I was about 12 years old. My rings now slide off my fingers. Smile I plan to order a large double-cheese deluxe pizza tomorrow and eat the whole thing! Grin

    As Sam Goldwyn was once overheard saying at a dinner party, “This is the best pie I’ve ever had in my whole mouth”. I can relate. LOL
