    mils, thank you for your wonderful post. You recapped at the time, but it is so interesting to read the anniversary recaps and see what remains of the memories and the “looking back” perspective. Less “OMG!” and more reflection. Love them.

    So it looks like Adam WAS at Burning Man. Just read adamquotesdaily and there’s a message on the BM Facebook… Something to the effect “was nice to meet you and your friends..”

    kradamour — Adam has been to Burning Man at least twice and maybe 3 times (can’t remember whether he said he had been 2 or 3 times, but definitely more than once). My guess is 2006 and 2007, or 2006-2008.

    luval — that post about Adam at BM over at Adaquotedaily is interesting. Certainly lends credence to my theory… We need additional independent verification, though. Smile Now that people are starting to get home and settle back in, hopefully we’ll get more mentions.

    I’m now leaning towards the idea that he definitely did go to BM. We may never know unless Adam himself tells us. And he may not.

    This was the concert I went where I missed JoJosie, mils, goatiegarden by just minutes! Couldn’t find them! I was in the same hotel as the band but only saw them check out (not Adam). Great show as usual. My first “meeting” Adam at the barricades in the sprinkling rain after the show. SPG’s were there too!

    Luval, I’m sorry that you missed us too. I love being able to connect a face and personality to an Adam fan. I happened to be in the first row balcony one section away from the dancer so I got a good view of him and also the audience belows reactions. First row balcony is a great place to view a show. You get to see the whole spectical.

    I am thinking that his friends would not share it until Adam wanted it shared. They are very protective of him. In over two years, not a single “tell all” has appeared. The closest thing would be that item that Eber’s girlfriend wrote, called something like “I Sleep with Adam Lambert’s Dad”, it was (IMHO) very tacky.

    You know, his parents have to be so proud of the friendship choices that Adam has made throughout the years. As a teacher (and parent), I know that can be a parent’s nightmare.
    Ha — I’d still love a vid, so I hope that Adam approves one.

    A year ago tonight, at this time:

    I was in goatie’s seat, front and center, because she and madness were allowed to go into the pit.

    The ( best of the tour)dance party was over, the guy stripping had been taken away, the beach balls were gone.

    Allison Iraheta was singing her face off.

    Adam was amazing. Simply amazing. Many many many eyebeams. Right at me. Still think about it, picture it.

    After the show, back to the hotel, hanging out with goatie, Jo and Madness. And, we all met mlg. Our beloved poster maker. What a night.

    Mils… I knew I wanted to find mj’ers and when I looked out the hotel window I saw two decorated cars (one of which turned out to be yours, or goatie’s. By the time I got downstairs one car was gone…yours…the gal in the car that was left didn’t know you all or had ever heard of Mj’s.

    Going inside to wait in line I kept asking people if they were on the blog. All I got was “no” never heard of it. I even was talking to a couple of people in the meet and greet waiting line but then I just gave up. It was just a bunch of missed opportunities. It’ll happen one day!

    Luval, I don’t know how you missed us in the M&G line as Goatie, Madness and I all had them and we are all very talkative(well at least I am). I spent part of the wait sitting on some stairs chatting with a couple cute gay guys. I think some folks were jealous. The guys may just happen to like friendly, talkative, cute, older ladies.j/k I did run into several scary fans almost stalkerish in that M&G. Meeting mlg was really nice. She’s as beautiful and classy as her posters. We also stayed in that hotel, Luval and saw Monte in the lobby when we were checking in. It’s nice to have friends and fellow fans to remember with.

    Jojosie…after asking dozens of people if they posted on that site I really was tired of people saying not so nice things and I didn’t want to hear it anymore. So I shut up and decided to just enjoy the show. Don’t remember the stairs you mentioned. Anyway, the best was yet to come with meeting Goatiegarden in NOLA, etc etc. So one at a time!!

    Just heard Adam’s name mentioned in a radio promo here… you know the type “we play the hits!!! blah blah)

    Hey guys, just got back in town today and have to leave again this evening on business for a few days, so here are the next couple of recaps:

    9/7/10 – the Glam Nation Tour plays an epic show at the Palladium Ballroom. IIRC, tweeters were very enthusiastic about this show, with comparisons made to the definitive Providence date. This audience was rewarded with the first performance of Whole Lotta Love in the encore since St Louis back on August 8th:

    American Idols live is in my town tonight. 2 years ago Season 8 was here, I saw it twice and every single person I met was there to see Adam. It was nuts.

    It’s only a couple of miles from my house. If I knew what time Durbin came on and I could get in free I’d go to hear him sing his 2 songs. Smile

    eta: I wasn’t being sarcastic. Durbin was my favorite and should have had more songs.

    My GNT concert anniversary is coming up. Houston.

    Dallas was a GA venue, I think TexasWannaHoldEm was there, and there were terrible storms in the area that day, tornadoes and the works! I think he performed TCB and WLL for encores.

    Before I leave the computer to screech, just wanna say that the “Adam” I said “Good Morning!” to on Sunday had the same fluffy black hair; worn like Scotland. Eeyow!!!!!
    Also, the background of the photo is FractalNation – a village camp located at 2o’clock and Graduation – great music and DJs; and, on Thursday, had speakers inside the dome, featuring “new paradigm thinkers on a range of evolutionary topics from technological advances to psychedelic research”. Hmmm . . . . sounds like an Eber topic to me!
    Rode by FractalNation several times; on my way to 3 o’clock and Coming Out for the Burlesque; and to share brandy shots at the 3 o’clock Portal with “Georgie Boys”! Never stopped. Rats!!
