Oh, no. I don’t think shaving to the scalp, even a small part, of one’s head is an attractive thing to do. I’m all for trying out different “looks” but there’s also a saying Adam: “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”.

I agree about the hair. I don’t like above the ears shaving. I loved loved loved his hair the way he’s been wearing it this year. So flattering, heightening, and just so iconic. But, it is being copied, by men and women in LA. So a change was inevitable. I agree, his eyes looked like from a photo shoot, very Sutan-ish.
I do suppose that after all the “appropriate” behavior and outfits lately, TV appearances filmed, awards accepted, he just needed to let out his inner rebel.
But why step so close to the shavers? Doesn’t he read our blogs? It’s not like he’s got anything else to do. Mwahahahaha.
I was hoping we had gotten past the hottest days of summer and the shavers had stayed away so we were in the clear, but…

Kind of funny story. Good friend, my age, recently told me that her daughter gave birth to a baby girl and that she named her Laurel. That reminded me of the beautiful Laurel shrubs we had in our backyard when I was growing up and I told her I thought it was a pretty name.
She then said, “You don’t understand, though. Her last name is Hardy”. When the new mother was told Laurel & Hardy, she had no idea what that meant. She’d never heard of Laurel & Hardy.

Love Mr. October – the calendar is over my desk as we speak – but I, personally, would like something less brushed over – something more vital and lifelike – where you can really catch the spark of his personality. One thing is certain, there’s plenty to choose from.

Was just at Home Planet listening to the supposed remix of Adam’s new single. Yikes. Don’t like it. It all may be bunk, of course, but remix aside if this is the single I can’t imagine listening to it. I tried to wash the remix and autotune out of my ears, but I couldn’t hear a song there.
luval….. I never take the stuff from Home Planet seriously. It is a fun site for entertainment value only, in my opinion. It’s not necessarily the best place to go to for actual news. Having said all of this…. I need to make a visit over there.

If album #2 is as overproduced as FYE I won’t buy it. Can’t believe I said that. But I don’t even know where my FYE is, and don’t really care.
I’ll be a fan, I’ll go to concerts, I’ll wait for album #3 and support Adam in every other way, but I am not buying another CD bathed in mud.

Have to just add…I loved FYE!!! to each his own, of course. And Adam has said in several interviews that they had to “cover” his voice a little because he was so tired and they were trying to get this album done so quickly.

It’s sort of a medley, not just one song. This music is very popular in the UK in clubs and raves, don’t know about radio. But I love the dj’s take on Adam’s voice:
I’m not worried, really. Adam will have the last word on how it sounds (remember how picky he was with the IIHY video? I thought it turned out GREAT.) And, I think they need to explore every possible angle/avenue to get him and his music out there in the UK. Maybe this is just for an EP, or an extra on the album….or maybe it really is going to be a single. Seems like a lot of the music nowadays is dance (On the Floor, Moves like Jagger). I just can’t wait. Curiosity is killing me.
Hehehe, exactly! Remember those remixes we found thanks to you? I listen to them a lot, specially love the “Live the Life” that WASN’T on iTunes – it’s my fave. Adam’s voice is so distinct on that one, unmistakable.

nkd – love the little ones, but my favorite age is around five to six – can have so much fun with them in a more adult way, but they haven’t left childhood behind – the magic is still there. You have a lot to look forward to. Enjoy.
OUT mag had a Best- and Worst-Dressed Gay men poll. Adam came in second after Tom Ford as best-dressed. Well, wouldn’t you expect Ford to be well dressed – he’s a designer, for pete’s sake. Adam, as an individual, has done it by sheer force of his intelligence and personality – a much greater accomplishment.
Enjoy looking at Ford and his style – but Adam is much more exciting because he’s more adventurous – will take a risk – and laugh if it doesn’t work – and isn’t that why so many love him.
