It’s time for our September chat thread. Hopefully this will be the final relatively quiet month before Adam’s new single is released. As always, please keep the posting guidelines in mind, and welcome any newcomers. Enjoy!

Hah Kradamour I was wondering who would catch that.

Off to work. Have a great day everyone. Nothing like anticipation to make the day be a bit more sparkly.

  2. Kradamour says:

OMG I just opened the newspaper and Sasha’s photo is the entire cover of the weekend section! An amazing pic!
    Here is the online version:
    http://hamptonroads.com/2011/09/oh-yeah-they-can-dance

I hadn’t thought about going to the show, but I could walk there. Might go alone. (Hey, adamized, whatcha doing this weekend? Smile )

  3. fwachdr says:

Kradamour, You should definitely go see Sasha. My daughter and I went to the Atlanta SYTYCD show last year, and it was WONDERFUL!

  4. nkd says:

adamized, it was hanging out there just waiting to be said! Wink

cwm, I remember your dilemma from last year, even though I wasn’t posting at that time. I agree with others, that the memory of that night with you at the concert will be long-lasting, and probably did no long-term damage to her at school! What a great Mom and daughter moment. Smile

  5. missdfyed says:

It saddened me deeply to watch the It Gets Better video of that boy, To think he took his life because of the ignorance and hate of classmates. My son is in middle school and he came home last week and said an older brother of his friend committed suicide (he didn’t know why) I have talked with him so many times about bullying and he knows I have zero tolerance for it, no matter what the reason. I only wish more parents would do the same, these kids need to somehow be held accountable for their actions, IMHO.

  6. nkd says:

Kradamour, that was a cool article on the SYTYCD tour, focusing on Sasha, how great!

    adamized, love that video!

The article about Majors & Minors talking about Adam wanting to work with the kids on stage presence is great, and I think Adam has a lot to offer on that aspect. But, I can’t help but think of The Home Planet and Adam’s stage presence, and grin! Grin

  7. luval says:

I’m sure you guys all saw Sauli’s latest blog. I just love this guy. So Adam is in Florida and Sauli has a friend visiting from Finland. How nice.

  9. Kradamour says:

jlurks, thank you! Loved that interview and love even more that others will follow. Adam seems confident and happy and totally where he belongs. “Executive producer” of the album…wonder how many sophomore albums are executive produced by the artist?

I’m loving Sauli too, luval. Always look forward to his blog!

  10. ultimathule says:

Anyone else having trouble playing “The Insider” interview?

  11. jlurksacto says:
  12. ultimathule says:

Got it! Thanks very much, j

  14. ultimathule says:

The guy is just so damn smart.

  15. ultimathule says:

The mischief in his eyes is devastating.

  16. eywflyer says:

Nkd, Royal Sparkz – I like it! Smile Too funny.

Interesting interview with Adam. I’m a bit surprised the label would give him this much control over a second album, but not at all surprised that Adam wanted that much control lol.

As ya’ll know I don’t usually like to talk much about “other” websites, but I will say that what is going on in the comments to the MJs post on today’s interview is one of the main reasons that I started this site.

  17. luval says:

I love how Adam loves us!!!!

Gotta go check that out, eywflyer!

  18. Oksana2000 says:

eywflyer, thanks do much again..this site is like a refuge from a usual crap that we have to go thru every time MJ has Adam’s thread.
I can easily identify all the trolls (I have to call them that way, sorry) – I know who THEIR Idol is. Dear Trolls, putting down our Flava Bone will not make YOUR Idol more successful…
Anyway, Adam looks great, he matured into absolutely gorgeous man, and I can listen to him forever. Grin

  19. luval says:

Kradamour…I would go see SYTYCD. You won’t regret it. Even if you go yourself. It’s no big deal! The show goes very fast just like GN. As I mentioned, I went to the very first tour and LOVED it!!!

  20. dcglam says:

“Executive producer” of the album…wonder how many sophomore albums are executive produced by the artist?

My thought exactly, kradamour… I would love numbers on this. What an incredibly huge honor for Adam! This also speaks volumes about the people over at Sony/RCA. Obviously, they have huge faith and confidence in him. Otherwise, this would not be happening. With Adam’s many years of experience in the music industry, his work ethic, and the fact that he puts his heart and soul into everything he creates make me a firm believer that he is ready for this next step in his career!

  21. dcglam says:

Thanks for posting Sauli’s latest blog, luval.
He is always so delightful and so entertaining. What a great sense of humor! This is my favorite part — cracked me up…

We went to see a movie called “Crazy, Stupid, Love”, which was fine. In the beginning it felt a little bit boring, but towards the end all the pieces started to fall into places and we had a good laugh. However, I still think that comedy movies are more for those hangover days you spend on your home couch than for the movie theaters… I, for one, never have that problem, so I have to watch these movies in the theaters… hahah!

  22. Kradamour says:

Adam looks great, he matured into absolutely gorgeous man, and I can listen to him forever.

    Amen. Smile

  23. asifclueless says:

I don’t get it. Help me here. Wink

One day he is Flava Bone, next day he is MuthafuckingBeast, and then he is Executive Producer ???!!???

  24. Kradamour says:

That’s our Adam, asif! Multi-faceted! Smile

  25. asifclueless says:

Krads …Yes!!! And our fandom is nver boring. Grin

I can’t get that link to work…Hope someones gets it up on youtube really fast.
Loved that ETinsider interview. I love listening to Adam talk almost as much as listening to him sing.

  29. loveroftalent says:

I am so excited for his new album but at the same time really nervous. I just want everything for Adam that he has ever wished for. Love him so much.

  30. luval says:

    omg…his eyes…on Project Runway….

  31. HK fan says:

Thanks Asifclueless for the coralmaid link, managed to see a couple of minutes of Adam.

  32. Kradamour says:

OMG asif, you are my HERO!!!
Thank you so much for that link so that the television-free could watch in real time! Smile
BB acquitted himself wonderfully, and it was obvious that the rest of the panel respected his opinions and input.
So much fun! and loved the love that he got from Michael Kors about his own style sense.
And by the way did I thank you, asif? I did? Smile Well, thank you AGAIN, cherie! Smile

  33. asifclueless says:

    Pleasure Treasure!!!! Grin

I’m dead now, not only because of laughing gorgeous BB, but also it’s almost 6 am.
I’ve been up all night. Good thing is tomorrow is a weekend here.

    G’night …cherie!!!

  34. loveroftalent says:

Adam gave awesome critiques and looked gorgeous as always. Love hearing him laugh.

  35. ultimathule says:

Watched Project Runway for the first (and probably last) time. To see Adam laugh was worth slogging through this borathon. The portentousness, the hilarious seriousness of the contestants (and Klum, too – attractive, but devoid of charm) was an exercise in how to completely waste your time. I guess Adam gets through it by not taking it all so seriously – he seemed light-hearted and full of fun – the rest – OMG – occasional flashes of humor, but heavy, man, very heavy. Maybe Adam is what fashion needs – a sense of fun – all for it.

  36. Kradamour says:

    G’nite, asif! Sweet Adam dreams!

loveroftalent, you have the perfect screen name tonight. So talented! Ah, the laugh…sigh

I feel like a proud parent, our boy stepped out of his box and showed off something new and made us all proud! Smile

Was surprised he didn’t mention his own zipper pants, but he obviously liked these. His comments re lengthening the leg…boy knows his fashion tricks. I knew he knows what he likes and has good “gut” sense, but he actually knows WHY he likes what he likes. (shakes head) Just love love love him!

  37. Calgary says:

I’m green with envy! Missed the live stream (too early here plus I was on the road) and PR not in in Canada tonight – wonder if we’ll be able to see it on YT or somewhere online.

  38. nkd says:

Calgary, can you get episodes from mylifetime.com ? I’m not sure how long before the new episode is available online. A day or two maybe.

I just finished watching PR and the interview. Our boy is so grownup and gorgeous and funny! I love love love him too!

And Sauli, can he be any cuter? He is funny and adorable as well!

  39. asifclueless says:

cwm..I’m bringing your post from mjs here to share.
    Is it OK?
Thanks a million cwm. I got up and watched PR from your links before my coffee.
It’s gonna be another wonderful day in adamland!!! Grin

  43. cwm says:

asifclueless — of course it’s ok to bring my post over here! I’m glad you did. I was just coming over to do it myself.

They’ve also posted additional extended judging clips:

    of Bert: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nMFEJIR183w&feature=youtu.be

    of Kimberly: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9LdpoS5T2Bg&feature=youtu.be

Sigh. Adam was great on PR! He was smart, confident, specific, and constructive in his feedback. He knew what he was talking about. And, ahem, he looked awesome. Razz Razz

ETA: Holy crap, asif. I just saw all of those photos you posted. He’s crazy handsome! Thank you!

  44. asifclueless says:

Sorry!! not Hiedi who said “You look like a viking.” It’s Nina.

This is my fav.vid. It’s #04. You’ll see and hear Adam laugh and giggle a lot.

  45. cwm says:

    nkd:
What a great Mom and daughter moment. Smile

It absolutely was! We had such a blast together. I can’t tell you what a difference Adam has made in my relationship with my daughter. Smile

Also, just wanted to mention that I’m so thrilled for Adam that he has this fantastic opportunity to be Executive Producer on his album. That is so awesome for him. I’ll bet he’s totally relishing having so much creative control. Can’t wait to hear what he comes up with!

  46. asifclueless says:

    Video #08 of Joshua: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dBO-fibi9NA&feature=player_embedded

    Joshua is berting!!! Crotch zipper!!!

  47. adamized says:

Adam was so perfect for PR and he looked fantastic. Love the extra clips. Thanks for posting them. He is so comfortable in this environment and fits right in with the other judges (though he is ten times more beautiful). Want to see him do more of this in the future (after he finishes his album of course)

AFL – Executive Producer! Just wow! He is so damn fearless. Someone said on MJ’s “balls of steel”…got to agree.

  48. adamized says:

  50. luval says:

So I watched the show last night but these extended clips are great! Adam was gorgeous and fabulous. I’ve already sent that clip of the contestants talking about him to several people. Yes, he definitely has to be on the small screen more often. And I have to say the band was charming. Not my type of music but they were polite and interesting.

Majors and Minors tonight, but is this the episode he’ll be shown in?

eta…btw I mentioned this before but this year’s contestants on PR may be the least talented of all the previous seasons. (oddly enough except the Enya the girl with no sewing experience). This is IMO. So I’m sure it wasn’t that easy to judge for Adam. Had he had a challenge that involved more high fashion I think it would have been much better. But as Adam said…not in these words but…The challenge was to marry the sensibilities of rock n roll and the designers precision fashion, so in that sense it was good. But the designers didn’t “get” it. Adam was sooo spot on.Am looking forward to the Sundance fashion show.
