Adam was full of surprises in September. Not only did he shoot Starstruck but he managed to sing at a wedding in Capri and the Harris Reed fashion show in London. He’ll probably stay in London for an ITV’s “Britain Get Singing” supporting the mental health campaign, Britain Get Talking and also for “Strictly Come Dancing” where he will perform the theme song from the Noel Coward documentary “Mad About The Boy”. Then it’s back to the US to rehearse for The Witch Hunt shows at the end of October.

I like the snippet.
It’s clearly not a modern pop song. It’s in the tradition of ” standards” and is jazzy. I’m thinking he’s going to get a lot of respect for his ability to cover this so nicely.
I’m also thinking that it’s really an honor to know that the producers of the film chose Adam over other musical voices out there. Sam Smith? Who knows who else was a contender. Or if they immediately went to Adam. I’d love to hear the background of this.

Bought the song on iTunes, and now I’m mad about the boy (Adam)! Damn, he nailed it – it’s going to be so perfect for the documentary, reminded me of the delicious recordings by Sinatra, Peggy Lee, Chris Connors, the jazz singers of the day. I never really noticed the huge difference between the musical styles of now and then until I heard HIS voice in this very different way. And what a voice – sounds just phenomenal.
