Adam showed what a good global citizen he is by using his “Superpower” to promote worthy causes to the world (along with Queen, of course). This month, he continues the promo for his latest EP, “Velvet: Side A”. We should see him on a few TV shows and hear more of his superpowerful songs on radio as well.

    I was listening to Superpower on R&K and got a (not so) new theory. Adam was not happy with the way SP sounded live, got bad feelings (FYE, anyone?), and decided to change the whole strategy. CTY is going to be the new single and he’s going to sing it in every show now. Opinions?

    Doesn’t make sense. He’s singing Superpower on DWTS in London on Sunday, it’s just hit top 50 in the US, getting good play in the UK and elsewhere, AND the live version on Pandora is fantastic.
    Just changing a song isn’t a reason to cancel. And he’s had different singles in different countries before. It costs a LOT of money to switch singles in the US and worldwide for an indie label.
    But, he could just throw another one out there, with the danger it would take away from the first one.

    The “he didn’t like how Superpower sounded live” also makes no sense, as Riskylady said.

    We may never know why he cancelled those shows and why he seems to prefer doing promo in Europe and UK. He really should be doing it here especially since Superpower seems to be climbing. IMO

    He looks great in the new pictures.

    I didn’t really hear anything very different in the Superpower live session. Not at all like the Closer to You live session. which is just magical.

    Loved that interview from Sept 3, Now I have visions of Adam luxuriating around the house in Silk and how good it feels. Yes Grin In Love

    LOL. Yes, clearly he was.
    Except, the iHeart gig he cancelled was on October 1st, he was on Kelly and Ryan Oct. 2nd and some said he seemed to have trouble, and he cancelled the Lily show taping the next day. And the others the following week.
    He did a lot of promo here – GMA, Elvis Duran, Sirius, the YouTube show, lots of other radio interviews, Spotify, Pandora, Instagram, just had to cut it short early this month for ?????
    Knowing how important this is to him, IMHO it had to be something serious, not a whim.

    I went to see the musical “WE WILL ROCK YOU” last week.

    It was good with 24+ Queen songs. But it’s not as good as the real Q+AL.

    I missed Adam the whole show.

    The silver lining that Adam didn’t get the job when he audited for this show is that this show didn’t do well in the US. Adam is better with a runner up Idol and then fronts the real Queen band. Heart
