Following a sold-out residency with Queen at the Park Theater in Las Vegas, Adam now has time to continue to work on his own new music. Rumors are that there will be announcements about some acting roles and let’s hope that there is some firm news about his music.

    Best Buy is pulling CDs from its stores/people are freaking out
    This should come as no big surprise btw streaming services like Apple & Spotify taking over and vinyl returning to popularity, there doesn’t seem to be much of a place for CDs anymore….

    I heard something so sad today, but I have to share it. I met a friend today who volunteers for the Israeli version of the Make A Wish Foundation, and she told me that two years ago there was a young woman whose special wish was to see the QAL concert in Tel Aviv. They got five tickets for her and her family to attend………and then she died the day before the concert! So sad Frown

    There are songs that l like more and those that I like less, but I wouldn’t want to throw out any of them. What I like less is someone else’s favorite. And I LOVE Broken Open. One of my all time favorite songs.

    My tastes tend to run to a little deeper songs and songs that are “too poppy” don’t do it for me. I loved “After Hours” on the TOH album but didn’t really like Shame or Another Lonely Night either.
    The more Adams songs run to a rock sensibility the better I like them.
    IMO he is a ROCK star but I know he likes POP and because I love him so much, I try to like those songs too!

    Easy for me: Loaded Smile is my least favorite

    I would never want to get rid of Two Fux! It’s a statement! And it’s got a lot of humor and character. Broken Open is one of my all-time favorites

    Interestingly my husband really likes Two Fux, which he first heard at the San Jose QAL, I believe. He even wondered when we were going to hear it during the residency – couldn’t quite remember the name but sure did know what he liked! I like it too, particularly for some of the thought-provoking lyrics, i.e. OCD? A biographical reference, or a shout out to a friend?
    Also love Heavy Fire, Runnin’, Broken Open, and bunches of others. Not so much These Boys or Shame. Actually amazed at how many I do like if just to marvel at that voice!

    Two friends of mine went to see A Star is Born this past weekend. They loved Bradley Cooper. But they said in the coming attractions, Bohemian Rhapsody’s trailer was spectacular in the big theater.. They weren’t going to see it but are now intrigued.

    I love Two Fux!

    I saw A Star is Born on Sunday. It was good. The music was great! I loved the live performances. The love story never really pulled me in though as it does in the 70’s version.
