After a busy few weeks playing concerts in Israel and throughout Asia, Adam is about to take a seat but he won’t be able to put his feet up just yet. Judge Adam will be on Australia’s The X Factor which premieres on October 3rd with the auditions. Live shows will follow in the weeks to come.

    @riskylady Hore Adam finally did TSMGO right again… LOL … He sounded wonderful on that Bangkok concert video…

    I can imagine the following conversation between Adam and Brian before the Bangkok concert:

    Adam: oops I did it again… at least I did not stop singing like in Tokyo.

    Brian: Adam what happened to you ? You were doing ok in Shanghai… That is why I allow you to do it in Hong Kong… Does the relatively calmer Hong Kong audience make you nervous ?

    Adam: I don’t know… it is not an easy song to sing… I just tend to rush to “outside the dawn is breaking”…

    Brian: I know, I mainly wrote it… Freddie could do it correct in one take and he was seriously ill at that time. You as a young handsome and smart lad, in prime condition… should be able to do even better.
    Bangkok is our last show so better end it with a bang and a flawless TSMGO…

    From what I heard, Adam had a quicky Bar Mitzva at the Wall in Jerusalem. He never had one when he was 13, and all you really need to do is to put on t’fillin and say the right prayers and that is it. I am not crazy about “celebrity Rabbis” but I am so glad that he felt that it was something important that he wanted to do.

    Brian knows how amazing this tour was. I think they can continue on (around Adam’s schedule) and do short tours like U2 and others do. Work one month…off three or four months. Something like that.

    First-hand fan report

    Have now seen the current Asian show twice. First in Shanghai where I felt like I was watching an Olympic event -was literally astonished at the perfection. One glory note followed by another and another non stop. And recall in the past when you always knew he was going to go for a big note because he would pause briefly to get in position so to speak and then deliver? Well now, he just dives right into it. Each note deeper and richer then the next. I could not believe it !

    Then last night in Hong Kong. Exactly the same thing! Only this time, where I was situated right at the tip of the catwalk, I got to see him very close for whole portions of several songs. Could really see into his eyes, expression – sort of reading his level of concentration and composure. Not only was he completely at ease, but the almost effortlessness of his flawless vocal performance I felt is what has now allowed him to dig into the emotion and feeling of the songs with almost an air of abandonment – breaking out into improvisations, keeping the rest of the band in tune, following his lead – so the whole effect is perfectly synchronized but with a new level of spontaneity keeping it so fresh! In the past, for me, when the performance was “perfect” it sometimes had a quality of being a bit sterile or mechanical. Now, that is gone. I no longer found myself hanging on and wondering if he would deliver ” the big note”. He just does. Every time. Relax, smile, enjoy the show and be so happy and proud of him nothing else matters. He has mastered his destiny

    Love the fan posting luval I also believe part of his freedom and relaxation on this tour is he knows how much they love him over there. This group of QAL includes some phenomenal shows.

    In fairness to Adam though, Freddie only recorded the song in studio, when he was very ill but also they could do more takes to perfect it, and lyrics were right there. Brian said in a documentary that Freddie joked he was killing him with those high notes. He never performed it live.
    Even so, Freddie sometimes forgot lyrics on stage, even of songs he wrote himself. As has Adam.
    But he has been performing TSMGO exclusively live, many times, by his own admission one of the two most demanding songs in the very demanding set list. It has those verses that are similar, and two lines that are repeated twice. I bow down before his overall mastery. As I know you do too! In Love

    mils, we watched Westworld too. Eerie, as we were just in Sedona and the Grand Canyon for a week. I did see a few flies out there lol, now I’m wondering…….(literally NONE here in Florida).
    Very unsettling show but curious to see where it goes.

    Guess he could record the darn TSMGO to make it perfect on stage, but as Brian said – we do it live and dangerous – sheeet happens – love the occasional glitch – not that I ever catch them unless Brian falls over a speaker or something – well, not so fond of that!
