After a busy few weeks playing concerts in Israel and throughout Asia, Adam is about to take a seat but he won’t be able to put his feet up just yet. Judge Adam will be on Australia’s The X Factor which premieres on October 3rd with the auditions. Live shows will follow in the weeks to come.

    Agree with you that Adam would have been marvelous – he’s got that androgynous look wrapped up – but happy he stayed with Eddie – the reviews have been so-so and his brief segment was the high spot for many – thus not damaged in any way – worked out great –

    Well, after talking to several people yesterday about RHPS, some who are quite younger, they pretty much liked it, thought it was silly and that Adam was fierce and can really sing.

    Methinks they’ll re-broadcast the show , it had decent ratings , before Halloween.

    It was win-win for Adam. He was originally offered the starring role. No audition needed. It’s been talked about a lot already. Now I’m glad he didn’t take the role. His reviews as Eddie were the best of the show.

    Lol.

    Like we didn’t think that would happen.

    Okay.

    So.

    Some random thoughts.

    Loved his arm draped down and gripped on Columbia’s boob!!!

    Loved the wall sized gorgeous mug over Columbia’s bed.

    Loved all the photo album pics, loved his full screen of “ghost in the window ” reading of the warning of death note. In the original, it was just Meatloafs voice .

    Loved the coffin face.

    Didn’t like at all how clean, perky and well lit so much of the show was. Nothing dark, ominous or intimidating at all.

    No sex appeal. At ALL. The movie has soooo much mood, so much sexuality. So much touchy feely.

    Creature of the night is nearly an orgy. Wut happened in the remake? Janet and Rocky had a pillow fight? With all the lights on??? C’mon.

    The seduction scenes with Frank and Janet/Brad were anything but. It was like she didn’t want her lip stick smudged and was repulsed by them both. No sexual tension at all.

    Now, IF Adam HAD played Frank, he would have sexed it up. Talk about “dynamic tension.” With both Brad and Janet.

    Adam has been offered several leading roles that he has turned down, that we are aware of.

    Spider Man on Broadway, went to Reeve Carney.

    Hedwig , on Broadway, went to NPH and Darren Criss.

    And now RHPS.

    I’m glad he didn’t do RHPS. But, he would, could, SLAY Hedwig. I just watched it on TV again last night.

    And then watched some clips of Criss doing the finale ( MR whole song ) on You Tube. He also killed it. In a tiny black shiny pair of tight latex shorts. Imagine Adam in this role.

    BRB

    Breathe in…breathe out…wipe brow….okay….

    I think Hedwig conflicted with QAL. Otherwise he would have done it. And Broadway would have a shining super star.

    But, I’m glad for his career choices, we get to see him doing so many different things.

    And I have a feeling he’s got more tricks up his sleeve.

    My fabulous workbert thinks and hopes that he did record with Sam Smith. He hopes that the song becomes a smash hit. And that Adam gets huge publicity for it.

    So Adam will be in Australia for Halloween. I googled “does Australia celebrate Halloween” and apparently they never did in the past but recently it’s getting very very popular. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Adam instigating a full out judges costume situation on the Oct 31st. show. He has a way of persuading people (unless the producers wouldn’t want it). Or at least having a party that night.

    Adam Lambert and that roof-raising voice of his are great in an all-too-brief turn as Eddie (and he thankfully gives the role his own spin, never trying to do a Meatloaf impersonation)

    There was a print interview with Ivy posted here sometime during this last week where Ivy talked about meeting Adam on Myspace in the early 2000’s, and that he had referred her for the RHPS role.
