After a busy few weeks playing concerts in Israel and throughout Asia, Adam is about to take a seat but he won’t be able to put his feet up just yet. Judge Adam will be on Australia’s The X Factor which premieres on October 3rd with the auditions. Live shows will follow in the weeks to come.

    Frank is MUCH less. Less evil. Less snark. Too pretty. Too nice

    Cox is super talented, but, not enough. Frank had ripped stockings, smudged makeup, just naughty.

    Not enough Adam.

    Adam took pieces of his real performances…Reminded me of Born to Be Wild…how he sang with the background singers…went back & forth to the guitar player & drummer(?). Did the chicken dance or Tina strut.

    Laverne’s voice seems echo-ish to me. Maybe my TV but I can’t understand her at times.

    I am enjoying this, but, remakes are hard.

    This one just isn’t gritty, dirty, and evil.

    The cast had fun, that was obvious.

    Here’s my opinion.

    Adam clearly would have owned this.
    Adam was great as Eddie.
    Adam stood out.
    Adam was so busy making a political point, he gave up a career defining role.
    Adam may have been even more pigeon holed had he done Frank n Furter.
    Adam was on tour for both TOH and Queen while this was filming.

    Adam will more than survive.

    This was fun. The poster behind Columbia was fun.

    So. It wasn’t a hot mess. It had slow pacing, toned down sex scenes, clean fancy costumes, except for Eddie, no grit.

    I’m still a fan of RHPS.

    Just not gonna watch this again. Except for Eddie.

    Even the entrance of Cox WAS Too sweet. The original was his heel banging in the elevator, very vampire, very ROCK. This was slick and beautiful.

    Why would anybody be afraid? Not Brad and Janet.they were weirded out, but not really afraid.

    Completely agree with you mils.
    Laverne just wasn’t enough. I kind of liked most of the rest of the cast. Reeve and Annaleigh really stood out.
    Of course Adam was spectacular!
    LOVED his lips/tongue/teeth in the SF/DF reprise! Was cracking up at his silly mouth gestures. ROTFL

    Totes agree nkd. Reeve was excellent , Annaleigh too.

    I just think the overall production was sugar coated.

    Def Adam’s lips, but the song was a different version than the SoundCloud we were listening to earlier today.

    I just love the original, when Frank climbs out of the pool, I’m a Wild and Untamed Thing, rock voice, the I’m Going Home, smeared makeup, so dirty and grunge , torn fishnets, this show had no emotion, no grit.

    Loved Adam.

    He and Reeve and Annaleigh need a rock movie.

    Yep, a different mix in the reprise. More Ivy in the on screen version.
