After a busy few weeks playing concerts in Israel and throughout Asia, Adam is about to take a seat but he won’t be able to put his feet up just yet. Judge Adam will be on Australia’s The X Factor which premieres on October 3rd with the auditions. Live shows will follow in the weeks to come.

    OMG THAT IS SO BEAUTIFUL!!!! Signature Adam ending, but the first verse with that octave jump is stunning. To me it sounds like Adam with Ivy barely singing along in the verses.
    Re Ivy: I usually like her, but did not like her turn as Usherette. She looks good, but I didn’t like the song.
    I follow her on Instagram where she’s posted a lot about her part but never mentions Adam. I figured he had something to do with her getting the part, but no indication from her. In fact, it was Adam and Sauli who first brought her out of anonymity at Bootsy I believe. Whatever.

    By hot mess, I just mean over production. Too much color, noise and visual distraction.

    The original was more subdued and allowed voices and character shine through.

    One of the only moments of raw energy comes courtesy of Adam Lambert, who absolutely kills his single scene by actually treating it like rock and roll. For a moment, all the pomp is ignored, and the true Rocky Horror comes out, one that revels in the possibility that truly anything could happen.

    I’m beginning to feel sorry for the other actors with Adam getting all the raves. But I guess that’s Show Biz!

    mils I’m thinking it’s just the sign of the times. People (young people mostly) want color, noise & visual distraction like you said.

    Love love love Adam’s SF/DF! I have been waiting on that since we had the one line in a trailer clip from months ago.

    I think Ivy’s is absolutely lovely too.
    It was always a “pretty” song, and still is in these two versions.
    I really like the opening segment with Ivy and am excited to see the rest.
    I’ve seen the original movie several times but never at a midnight showing in a theater so I’m probably a little easier to please.
    As the Adlers said in the Q&A, this version is meant for peeps like me and those that have never seen RHPS.
    Hope it’s good!!

    mils been watching AHS but almost ready to give up. The last two episodes have been awful IMO. Have taped last night’s show & will let you know if I’m going to check out!!

    This is like the first time in a while Adam’s on tv on a general channel most people have & I’m so nervous lol

    But it’s only a couple of minutes & will only appeal to a certain group of people IMO. Keeping fingers crossed that it will be a minor hit.
