    And you might get a kick out of the fact that the theater in Houston where Adam is performing is under the same ownership as the Fillmore in Miami!…Live Nation. Another old, iconic theater restored. I might be doomed.

    And would love to see you and riskyhubby in Houston!

    Adam is doing so many one-offs now. I am glad for everyone who will see him, but I really hope that won’t be like the Trespassing era where there wasn’t a real US tour, just lots of individual concerts. I don’t think that I will be able to come across the Pond just for one short concert or to see him share the stage with Pop acts that I don’t have any interest in seeing. Worse comes to worse, I will catch the tour in Europe (which I would do anyway, lol)

    Love the new video. Love the fact that it has a story line as well. I like the GT video but it was pretty hard for me to watch, but this is gorgeous. All you guys here picked the Elvis connection. Well done.

    mmm222 and I spent the afternoon in Washington Square listening to jazz and keeping our eyes on the lookout for a tall dark haired man with an aura about him. Also another tall skinny British man with one blue eye and one brown eye. Saw neither. Smile But I swear I saw Jessica Lange and Gwen Stephani’s ex Chris something or other. But it could have been the sugar stupor I was in from this amazing bakery mmm222 took me to. Baba rum cake and New York cheese cake pushed me over the edge.

    We’re back at the hotel now waiting to go to dinner, then the show. We heard it may be a 50 minute show. Yay! That’s it for now!

    asif Thanks for the link to the ALN video. Luval and I just watched it and loved it. It was perfect!

    I took luval to Rocco’s, the Italian bakery in Greenwich Village which is a favorite of several of us on ALL. It was luval’s first time there. All that good Italian pastry made her delusional. She was seeing celebrities everywhere, just not the right ones. I can handle my cheesecake and cannoli better than that. More practice, I suppose. We walked all the way back to our hotel from the Village to burn off a few calories before dinner. It’s time to get dressed now for the show. We’ll report in again later.

    I have good news to share – I have secured full-time employment after nearly a year of searching! I’m excited to get back into practicing law but I will miss the extra time I had to spend with friends and family including all of you here at ALL. Best of all, it made my mom REALLY happy and I’m so thankful for that. She’s been doing well coping with my dad’s very sudden passing but it is great to see her so happy about something. Thank you all again so much for being there for me – such good friends!
