After a busy September with an abundance of positive reviews of Adam’s appearance with Queen and on Avicii’s “True”, October should be a quiet month. He will be busy on GLEE but those shows will only be broadcast starting in November. Let’s hope for leaks and treats to keep us chatting – as if we needed an excuse!

    firsttimerob that is an old interview, maybe 18 months or more. It was done jut when they were putting the finishing touches on Queen Extravaganza, and I think that was winter of 2012.

    And, I have to say, I find it hard to comment on here, but love to lurk and pretty much agree with what everybody has to say. Differing opinions, even. Some stuff, like the bimbettes versus talent post…I feel so strongly about that I can’t even! What’s so new about skin? Singers, keep your damn clothes on! That seems to only apply to FEMALE singers, which is totally disgusting. Now, I’m going to post the link to my book. I hope it doesn’t offend anybody that I’m doing that. But I wrote it for us, the glamberts and people who can get into it and enjoy it. If you give it a try, please let me know what you think and leave a review on Amazon.     Hi paulanation. I would download your book but I don’t have a Kindle or any e-book. Is there any other option?

    Get to work today and what do I see? The photo up top hung up near the desk where I work! I would bring it here but can’t seem to get a url to transfer to picturetrail. I left it up all day. What an inspiration to see that stance!

    Guess I can’t do anything today!

    Just about any smartphone, tablet, computer can read Kindle books. You just have to go to Amazon and download the reading app for your device.

I have a Kindle and I mostly borrow library books but I also have my Mom’s Kindle on my account as she has no computer, and no WiFi so no access to library books. I buy books for her so this link was really great. I can’t believe I never ran across it before. Yes

    That’s very sweet of you to say. I still read here (several times a day just to see the pictures at the top!) but when I’m on my phone, it’s difficult to post.

    I’m having eye trouble–my vision has gotten bad enough that I’ve seen the doctor. He says I’m not legal to drive right now even with my glasses on. 20/200 in one eye and 20/100 in the other. I knew I was having problems but not that bad. He thinks it’s because of my diabetes–sugar is too high. If I can get it under control, I will have cataract surgery. In the meantime, I’m waiting on Walmart to let me know when my new glasses come in.

    And my husband just got out of the hospital a week ago. He gets chest pain from several different sources-he had a triple by-pass 19 years ago, and 9 stents since then. His medication has caused ulcers and acid reflux. He was in a lot of pain last Wed. so I called an ambulance. Good thing I did. He was 90% blocked in one of the three stents he got about a year and a half ago. So they stented the stent. Who knew they could do that? So now he has 10 stents. They say the next time we’re back to open heart surgery again.

    Reading here is a great escape from the daily craziness.

    So I’m preparing for this years NaNoWriMo–writing 50,000 words in 30 days. I’ve made it for the last couple years, although last year’s novel was crap that will never see the light of day. It starts on Nov. 1st.

    Adam is going to be a main character in my new story. My main character will inherit a beautiful house that is big enough to open up as a boarding house. Adam will be one of the “guests” hiding out from the paparazzi and fans while trying to write music for his next album. I’m excited to get started on it. I think I’ll use the picture at the top for inspiration should I get stuck on the plot.

    I still haven’t been able to force myself to watch Glee. I didn’t watch any of the last couple seasons, and even the Beatles music hasn’t got me into it this year. I watched some of the video of the songs on MJs but I just wasn’t inspired.

    I can’t imagine Adam as a villain, but if he does well enough, I’d love to see him come to McKinley and go head to head with Sue Sylvester.

    I guess my biggest problem with Glee is that it is supposed to Lima, Ohio, which is my hometown. It is so unlike the Lima I knew that I get offended when what little scenery we get is more like California than Ohio. I would love to see a few of the landmarks from the area being mentioned–like the Kewpee restaurant. It’s the first place we hit when we go back home for a visit. There is a facebook page for those from Lima, and the Kewpee is the one of the places we all agree on.

    I try to tell myself that it’s just a tv show, but it’s still been a let down. The stories are too implausible. First, chorus people were not the bottom of the food chain–band people were. I know, I was both. And music has always been a big thing in that area. I can’t imagine having a problem getting people to join a glee club. In my school, we had two glee clubs, a ninth grade chorus, a capella choir, and a senior chorus. No shortages of singers there. And every year we put on a musical for the school and went to contest.

    Sue Sylvester is a hoot, but when she becomes physically abusive, it crosses the line for me. I don’t like to see teachers assaulting kids, even on a tv show.

    I will bite the bullet and watch it for Adam…but this better be good. I’m not liking “Starchild” but I hope this is a positive for his career. People HAVE to hear him sing!

    I have also read that his character will be “very close to Demi Lovato’s character.” Her brother? Her lover? Her secret lover, because she is supposed to be Santana’s girlfriend? His vocal challenger in the Madonna cover band? On Broadway with Rachel, and taking all of her attention? Steal Blaine from him?

    Time will tell.

    You know, Ellessay, from your posts I suspected there was writing talent in your background, but 50,000 words in 30 days – wow – midnight oil burning there, I guess. Looked up NaNoWriMo – write a novel in a month – seems there are a lot of gluttons for punishment – lol.

    Wish you the best with your eyes – if you have cataract surgery – have known those who have – it’s amazing the clarity and color that then emerges in view. And, as for your husband’s bypass/stent procedures, that is just an ongoing battle with blockages – so much of it genetic from what I’ve observed.

    Yes, dear Ellessay, you’ve got “a lot of stuff going on right now.” And, with you on this blog’s being a great escape from daily life. So many laughs here – love it.

    I’m sure I’ve misinterpreted. I know Curt has always been a beloved character and he has had some pretty poignant storylines. Anyone working against him would be a villain to me. But I haven’t watched the show in a long time. They sure are holding this one close to the vest without giving us much information.

    In any case, I will be glad to hear Adam talk and sing ON TV!!! Not sure why his voice touches me so much. The rest of the family, not so much. I still get teased and eyerolls anytime anyone even mentions his name.

    My tribe doesn’t tease me, Ellessay – they’ve accepted that he’s part of my life. Besides they know I don’t care whether they like him or not – I believe he’s the finest live performer working today and my interest in vocal music (opera especially) leaves me more informed than any of them.

    And, actually, lots of them like him, too.

    Be bold – just give them the metaphorical finger if they do the old eyeroll – lol.

    I have a feeling that once the Corey Monteith episode is aired, more will leak out about Adam’s role. Or not. We don’t know much at all yet.

    I get the feeling that there aren’t a lot of spoilers for two reasons. One being out of respect for Corey. Two for building suspense about Adam. I just think that once that special episode airs, Glee is going to promote the SHIT out of Adam being on.

    All I know is, I am stocked up on tissues for that. I just know that they will wring every tear from my eyeballs that they can for next week’s episode.

    Like I have said a gazillion times, I have watched every episode of Glee. It is cornball and over the top and cheesy, but, shit, I just love it. Even these two Beatle episodes, which, admittedly, were not the greatest examples of Glee.

    I know ulti it is striking. In such a short time he has grown up so much and in so many ways and it’s funny, I knew he changed but not HOW much until I look at pictures like that.

    He knows exactly who he is now and to me, it shows in his confidence and it makes him even hotter, if that is possible, lol.

    aely and ulti, to me, his dramatic change is also that he has lost the really young boyish cutey pie face, and is now so much more mature, confident, chiseled, and just uncommonly handsome.

    He has lost the roundness, is slim and, the look he had at IHeart was so perfect, so spot on with today’s fashion, and yet, classic, he looked fresh and glam and stunning.

    LOL, maybe this belongs in the other thread, but, Bruno looked really good too. He sang a song about making love LIKE a sexy beast ( Gorilla ) , but, Adam WAS a sexy beast. He just oozed sexuality on that stage. Every move, every nuance, he was divine. Delicious. And people are STILL talking about it. Two weeks ago tonight.
