After a busy September with an abundance of positive reviews of Adam’s appearance with Queen and on Avicii’s “True”, October should be a quiet month. He will be busy on GLEE but those shows will only be broadcast starting in November. Let’s hope for leaks and treats to keep us chatting – as if we needed an excuse!

    Just wondering – those who buy WMU and Hey Brother, are they EDM fans, or Country/Folk fans? Maybe no interest in the whole album. And what is better for an artist, to sell albums or single tracks?

    LOL TLKC, yes, crocodile tears. aely, I love you but I’m not fair in matters of Adam. Sorry, not a fan of Fun with or without Queen. Don’t hate them, just don’t like them.

    I read that a few days ago about P2 and his re release and thought back on that Billboard article about Pharrell and their opinion and a few other industry people saying they should re release Trespassing. Of course at that time no one knew Adam was dropped. It does make me wonder if they would have held on to him longer if that would have been an option. Now it will never be and I get it, move on but what a waste of a great album.

    I guess he got a smaller scale re release with his acoustic EP on the first album.

    Have the same thoughts about LMD, riskylady – it is as much a Nile track as an Adam one. Would like to clock the time of the vocals and the time of the instruments.

    I enlarged the first one in those new shopping pics. It looks like the snake head with his tongue out, of course, pointed into the fold of the elbow. With flowers above it? Leaves? Fruit? Kale?

    Hey Brother is such a popular song because of the movie O Brother, Where Art Thou….built in following. It sold over 7 million records with Tyminski as the vocal. People HATED WMU when it was first out but with Mumford and Sons sounds being popular it was embraced. So, who knows….

    Well, the tat is very graceful, but dislike it very much – looks unbalanced with the other arm so unblemished (relatively). No doubt he’ll mess that one up, too.

    At least the apple is still freckled.

    Yep, that was a great movie! Really loved it. Like the song too, in fact I like all the songs on TRUE but getting a little tired of WMU. Gifted the album to my 3 teen grandkids, and they love it too. Hubby loves the jive tracks and Audra Mae.

    LMD…they could edit to :43-:44 where the guitar starts, I love that btw, cut out some more after the first vocal part, maybe another :15 and some toward the end to get a 3:30-4:00 song.
    I think it’s perfect as is but it is too long for radio.

    Was reading a thread on MJs about the letter from Sinead O’Connor to Miley, and led me to watch Rihanna’s newest video “Pour it up.” Damn. Consists of her f**king a chair and masturbating in barely there thong underwater.
    I think I want Adam to keep his layers – mystery is sexier…..

    I don’t want to get on a soapbox here, but I hate the sexy, barely clothed, if clothed, image the female pop stars are presenting. It seems to go farther and farther.
    Where’s the being valued for your intelligence and strength? Seems like such a huge step backwards.
    Unless they are trying to say that they are owning their sexuality. Still don’t like it.

    Guess sex sells, huh?

    I want our young girls today to know that there is value beyond their boobs and bootie.

    I know I am the outcast but I miss the facial hair. He still looks damn hot but I do miss it…..never thought I would say that….Now I don’t miss the sharpie colored beard, just the natural looking scruff…like at iHeart…and his new avi. Like I have told cher and texas I call it the hot sexy macho bad ass look….YUM

    You are so lucky for that chance cocoglam. Very few fans ever get that close to their idol.

    I don’t miss the facial hair but ITA with aely and nkd that the iHeart look is rather nice. It gives him jaw definition without hardening or aging his face. The “late-Beatles” look he introduced in China is my favourite, if he’s going that way.

    Adam has only so many years to look boyish. He should make the most of it while he can.

    I read somewhere that Adam’s character is in Kurt’s Madonna cover band on Glee. If this is true, it’s not hard to imagine where Kurt is going to get his come-uppance. We can anticipate Adam singing a few Madonna songs – yippee! If Madonna was on an episode singing with him……be still my heart!

    ITA, nkd – the ladies of POP are encouraged to exploit their sex. Sinead never did that and she meant well imho. It’s sad that Miley was so nasty to her, in particular. The older ladies of Pop like Cher and Madonna were quite judgmental in their comments. Sinead’s letter was thoughtful and made some good points about the state of POP culture.

    And I thought I was the only outcast here. I agree with you Aely wholeheartedly. And I love the tat sleeve. I’m curious if it’s the finished product or not…if he’ll return to have it shaded more, or add more color.
    Also wanted to say to wyked_whysper, thanks for your post. I agree with it, and appreciate you stepping out into the light to say what was in your heart/on your mind.

    I love both looks too, the iHeart scruff and clean-shaven. The man is gorgeous either way. Also love his hair falling on forehead a little….
    Now that he has seemingly taken care of his skin and weight, and hopefully is continuing with the Pilates, maybe we can look forward to more Sherwin Williams pants and clingy shirts. Such a great look on him, and that’s all I hope for. Hope he isn’t working toward any Levinesque chest-baring (or even more). A low cut tank top is just perfect (those gorgeous shoulders!!!!!!!) and peeks here and there. PLEASE no naked wrecking-ball videos!!!! Thankfully, haven’t really seen a lot of skin-baring trend with the men except Levine and Bieber (lol).
    I really don’t think he will add color to his tattoo – he seems to like the charcoal/neutral look better and hope he keeps it that way. Color looks OK on some, blonds especially like Sauli, but don’t think it would suit Adam.

    Hello risky. I agree and think the more muted shades look better with his ginger-esque skin tones. I’m hoping he doesn’t add color, but will go with the flow if he chooses to.
    Looking forward to Glee appearances, and hopefully more Queenbert. Would love to have a reason to meet up with many of the lovely people here (and you risky).
