Posting off iphone is a pain. Internet has been down since sunday. Anyhoo I am puzzled about no Grammy noms. Who knows. Dont they pick it on partial effing radio play? At least everyone will take more notice of him now. Was it still the AMAS that hurt him? Or look back to his makeup glitter years. People just werent having that. Here’s hoping that Roger and Brian have many healthy productive years ahead of them and that they choose to spend at least some percentage of that time making memorable music with Adam. It would make so many people all over the world very very happy.

The Howard Stern thing was just funny to me. Crude? Yes. That’s Howard. I don’t remember anything horrible about that lap dance, Adam was laughing his face off. And don’t forget, his boyfriend, friends, and mom were all there. I highly doubt there was any knee action, at least not by David Arquette!!

luval – in response to your question above, the fact that everything was spoken in the present tense could give someone the impression that there will be more. And I can’t imagine, especially given Roger’s comment about how much better Adam is even from last year’s minitour, that they don’t want to see how far this can go by scheduling at least 2 or 3 concerts while the iron is hot, so to speak!

When I come here to comment, I start looking at the picture above and forget what is was I wanted to say…My God…That is a stunning picture….
Hi, I’ve been a member of this site since it started, long-time lurker, exceptionally rare poster, but I just felt the need to throw my two cents in tonight. Reading yesterdays comments some of you seem a little down for how Adam was treated at IHeart Festival.
Personally I think he was treated just like the lead singer of the band. Adam’s fans and certainly Queen’s fans all know that Adam is actually not a member of Queen, however for the first two years after Idol the media constantly asked him if he was joining Queen. He was not invited to at that time, but it was the general consensus that he should be the lead singer of Queen.
So finally in 2011 that actually came about for the EMA’s. Then later that next year for a short European tour and now again for the festival. I think in many people’s minds he is in fact the current lead singer of Queen weather it is official or not. So when they requested the collaboration with Nate and Fun, they treated him like a member of the band and requested he make room for the collaboration.
I do not view this at all as being treated like a second class citizen. I expect they feel Adam will continue to front Queen, as no one else really fits the bill like he can and he will have many opportunities to sing with them. Had this been Adam’s first time with the band since Idol, then that would have been the collaboration everyone was talking about.
Unfortunately what we want and feel should be Adams due does not very often line up with what these corporations are shooting for. They have their own reasons for doing the things they do, such as driving listeners to their stations, thereby ensuring they can sell advertising, etc…
But without them these types of events wouldn’t be possible. So the bands play ball and except it for what it is, just as Adam did.
On the whole, it was a Whole Lot of Awesomeness and I see Adam, like many others have stated, as building a career for himself, not becoming a one night or one year Idol sensation. He is going for, and I believe, achieving longevity. We are after all four years out from Idol Season 8 and he is still going strong, record company or not.
I can’t wait to see where we are four years from now. I mean really, I never imagined during Idol four years later I would be following and reading a blog about the same singer all that time. If anyone had said I would, I would have told them they were 100% crazy. But here I am, here you all are. And still plenty going on to keep us occupied. Enough said!

I thought he was treated as the main man; that, along with all the praise from rock royalty, Brian and Roger, pretty much got Adam positioned by name and talent as one of the stars of this thing. I know Katy P. is a supporter and maybe even a friend, but between her natural affinity (she didn’t wear a cape this time, but still), and having the same management group, I wonder if heads were put together to make sure Adam got a real endorsement from a pop star at the top of her game right now.
