After a busy September with an abundance of positive reviews of Adam’s appearance with Queen and on Avicii’s “True”, October should be a quiet month. He will be busy on GLEE but those shows will only be broadcast starting in November. Let’s hope for leaks and treats to keep us chatting – as if we needed an excuse!

    Thanks for the Drake info. They didn’t date long, it probably was hard to start a relationship at the beginning of all the Idol mania. Still curious if he has a family now. Anyway, moving on.

    Just watched that video. It is really good but, WHY have Adam be in your video but not sing?! Toddrick is a very talented guy.

    You could use them for shoulder pads. What’s a girl to do?
    My grandmother had boobs sort of like that.
    Once she got them squished intro a bra, everyone was safe.

    I like Todricks video, although not as much as the Cinderella/Beyonce one.
    But to be honest, not quite sure why Adam was in it, apart from to use his name to get hits…..I know its probably not like that as they’re old friends, and Adam was probably happy to do it. But his part seemed unnecessary and kind of tagged on. I hope next time he actually gets to sing.

    Adam Lambert cameos as Captain Hook. The song kicks off with the ladies being introduced by an MC, and while Hall could have just used a voiceover, he chose instead to throw one more villain into the mix by having Lambert take on Captain Hook. Hook might not be the most glamorous of Disney’s bad guys, but he’s definitely become one of the most iconic, and his quick appearance is the perfect touch. Plus, it allows Hall to change the name of the prison to the much more fitting “Captain Hook’s County Jail”.

    I don’t make it over here very often because I’m so addicted to Twitter but I have a couple of extra tickets to Adam’s NYE Winstar show and wanted to see if any of you would like to use them. My flight and hotel are not booked yet either so hotel and car rental sharing is open for discussion also.     Good evening everyone. I know it’s been months since I posted here. I’ve moved to Honolulu recently with a work promotion and am still getting settled in here. I’m going to leave the “blog time” on the Eastern time zone as that’s what folks are used to and Hawaii time is so different from just about everywhere else (currently 6 hours behind EDT, will be 5 hours behind EST as Hawaii does not observe daylight time).

    I did receive birthday wishes in late September from a number of folks, thank you! My birthday occurred just a few days after I moved here.

    AL has kept this place running for the past several months, and I am so grateful to him for doing so. I’m sure everyone is very appreciative of his efforts. There is no way this site would have kept running without him. Thank you AL!

    Hopefully there will be some Queen + Adam shows in the future. Doesn’t seem like there will be many live threads for this site to cover otherwise anytime soon, although we do have a small handful of announced dates. Of those, I would think that Winstar is the most likely to have good twitter list and video coverage.

    As for Adam’s future, I don’t see it being particularly bright. Especially notable to me is that he is still unsigned to any label, months after being dropped by RCA. Given that, the chances of us seeing a new studio album and solo tour anytime in the near future seem quite slim.

    Hopefully the Glee appearances will help somewhat, although it remains unclear how many episodes those will cover.

    I think Queen shows are the best path forward for now. Hopefully they will happen. It would be nice to have regular concerts to run threads for again. I was thinking when I started this site that we would have another full tour with the second album like we did with FYE, and it was really disappointing when that did not happen.

    I am happy to see that the technical side of things has been running very smoothly for the past several months. Ever since I upgraded our hosting package it looks like the site slowdowns we used to get have all but disappeared.

    Once I get settled in here in Honolulu, I’ll try to contribute to the site more often once again and relieve some of the content production work from AL.

    Always thought he was pretty talentless.
    He posted a vid before he and Adam were an item from a trip he took. The narration was tedious and fairly inarticulate.

    The tweets were roundly criticized at the time, and deleted only a little bit later. Ah, screen shots! Nothing is ever really gone…anyway, in defense of the tweets, Adam had a new twitter account and hadn’t really figured it all out yet at the time. So long ago! Or so it seems…

    I probably won’t set up a special thread for the Make-A-Wish performance since it is a private event. I may set one up after the fact if any videos and photos show up.
    There will be a Glee thread and one for the Thanksgiving show in Miami and of course, NYE in Thackerville!
