After a busy September with an abundance of positive reviews of Adam’s appearance with Queen and on Avicii’s “True”, October should be a quiet month. He will be busy on GLEE but those shows will only be broadcast starting in November. Let’s hope for leaks and treats to keep us chatting – as if we needed an excuse!

    I think that the blue/green of the skin makes Adam’s teeth and eyes look yellowish in the photograph instead of their natural pearly white.

    I too think the skin colour makes the white of the eyes a different colour. His eyes looked fine on the close ups of the red carpet pics…maybe it was really smokey in the room, and the smoke was irritating his eyes with the contacts…

    Beautiful weather here at the moment, a very comfy 27c, with low humidity…spent a nice afternoon watching my son play rugby, very exciting match, he kicked the winning conversion for their team to win 22-21

    This is just my opinion.

    Watching dvr’s SNL from last night. I just don’t get Janelle Monet. Would never go to her show.

    Another one…Lorde…heard the song in my car a couple of times and thought it was just awful.

    And I know Adam tweeted his love for both of these people in the past.

    WOW – some wild shots. Glad to see Adam move away from the traditional vampire look. Think the blue make-up, which is cool in colour, sets up a mighty contrast for red and yellow, which is why the eyes, and even the lips, look the way they do. Most of us would look the same eyes-wise.

    Looking forward to watching Bridegroom on OWN tonight. Ready with the Kleenex. A few people commented on how intense Adam looked with the CNN interviewer right after the film’s premiere. This story is sad and I think it’s hard to come out of it smiling.

    A bit surprised at Adam’s Halloweenie answer when he was asked about what to do if you live in a place where there is still discrimination and he said “Move!” He qualified it by suggesting people go on the internet and find the community and discussion that they need to work through their problems but it was incredibly honest of him to be blunt about it. Perhaps watching Bridegroom had something to do with that but it is a fact that, as LGBTQ rights expand to more states, there will be growing impatience with the slowpokes.

    Don’t know if this will work but we had a big Glam Birthday bash in Toronto yesterday and took a few Halloween pics. Here’s “Tout le gang” (I hope!)

    LOL – just linked you in to my email account. Can’t have that. I’ll speak to P and see how we share the two pics – one with Lulu the cat.

    Three birthday Glamberts this time around: Northern Spirit, Angelowal and P.

    Ron didn’t make it but his partner Gilbert brought the cake before the party and of course it had Adam on it. Featured iHeart Adam – the pic at the top of this October thread. We have a before and after shot. Ate all around him. Finally Northern Spirit and M cut him in half and took his respective body parts home.

    Hi TLKC Wish I could have been there yesterday. Next time I hope! am quoting part of your post from a few days ago.

    The biggest box office performers are the legacy bands. A decent exposure with Queen would definitely pick up a crowd very respected by promoters and increase his fees. They are older, well-off, and have a lifetime habit of attending stadium shows. If he is planning on going the rock route, Adam would also pick up the right kind of audience for his next cd.

    I loved this. Was just watching the IHeart CW tv show with Adam & Queen. This version seemed to show lots of the audience. Although I was there, I only paid attention to one thing. Smile I loved the huge mixture of people and all ages. Especially the guys! Singing along, rocking it out.

    Good morning, ALL! I forgot to tell you a little Adam story. Last weekend Hubby and I attended a black tie event. We talked to an old friend and found out he’s a photo editor in LA with a major media group. Since he’s in LA, I had to tell him that I knew about places like Bootsy Bellows because of being an Adam Lambert fan. NO EYE ROLLS!!! He said he’s met him twice and he’s a really nice guy (which of course we already knew!).

    Got me thinking. I’ve actually talked with Adam three times. Once on the Idol tour and twice at WB last May. Not too shabby considering I’ve never been able to get a M&G!

    That’s great, sparkle!Love your story. I only talked to him one and a half times. Once in Paris meet & greet and the other in WB when he said “I already signed this” and I said “oh, yeah!” (I flipped the cd over to get him to sign the other side and he caught it)lol.

    Hi luval, we watched iHeart together at the party. The thing that really stands out in the crowd shots is, who are the real fans: they are the ones who know ALL the words – verse as well as chorus. The young guys know the songs through sporting events. There were a huge number of young women captured by the iHeart cameras who also knew the verses – imho they are Glamberts.

    Brian May mentioned in a recent interview how great it was to see all the young people singing along at iHeart. Adam definitely had something to do with this.

    Love Adam’s get-ups…Glitter, eye makeup, wigs, Fish netting, leather, leather, leather, dracula shoes. stud necklace, fingerless gloves, primary colors jewels….180 degrees from au naturale Adam we’ve been seeing. I love it and bet he’s so happy he can get a chance be this other part of him.

    And the Sultan eyes (I think he’s a sultan rather than a genie). The makeup is exquisite. I can’t stop examining it. The blues, yellows, pinks, purples, greens…all meshing together in a spectacular beautiful eye. Wonder if he did it himself?

    Weird how Adam & Sauli are both in an “event” at the same time where they wear a bindi.

    eta “Sauli can do more. Challenge him!” This was a quote from one of the judges. I think so too. Nea is ok as a partner but wish he had someone stronger or more creative. Like our own DWTS, you are only as good as the professional choreographer gives you.

    luval, totally agree about Janelle Monae and Lorde. That song “Royals” has been #1 on iTunes for a while, and to me it’s just the most ordinary song and her voice also ordinary. And don’t get me started with Gaga’s latest “Do What U Want” – I couldn’t tell if it was JLo, Britney, whoever, with a generic rapper thrown in – they all sound alike.
    So, either mindless background music or folksy-country mindless background music is the sound of today. Any music that requires actual attention/listening cannot make it in Pop/radio. Yuck.

    I’m with those who don’t get the hype over Lorde. As a fellow kiwi I should be supportive, but I don’t get her at all. I don’t like her voice or her stage personality. I find her just weird! Saw her on Ellen and thought it was awful.

    My daughter (26) likes Lorde. She played a few songs of hers to me. Royals is catchy and I like it.
    I heard it on radio in the US quite a few times.
