After a busy September with an abundance of positive reviews of Adam’s appearance with Queen and on Avicii’s “True”, October should be a quiet month. He will be busy on GLEE but those shows will only be broadcast starting in November. Let’s hope for leaks and treats to keep us chatting – as if we needed an excuse!

    With the caveat that things can always obviously change, as currently conceived – Into The Groove:
    Is being sung by the Madonna cover band in New York.
    Kurt and Starchild and one other singer from the group. (I assume that means the others are background but that’s all I know).

    aely – only if he and Rachel become besties, IMO. Sounds like a Kachel duet to me, if I were to guess or maybe Klaine or Sam and Blaine (“Slaine”?).
    808glam – thanks for posting about the original cost/ 2 night minimum – I feel like the Fontainebleau is taking advantage of we Glamberts by changing things now.

    Remember when there was a similar concert format at the Gaylord National in D.C. Two summers ago? Originally it was necessary to stay for a night to get the ticket, but at the very end there were tickets left for sale without staying the night (but seating nit as goid).
    Perhaps the Fontainebleau will do something similar if rooms are not sold out or seating is expanded, to make a few extra $$$.
    Fingers crossed for all who want to go!

    Scruff…ugh. The only thing that makes it tolerable is knowing that peeps I care about find it inexplicably attractive. Plus that I get go see him cleanshaven on Glee.

    luval re: Fontainebleau VIP package with Meet and greet. If you get the Junior Suite for two nights and can get 5 peeps to share, it works out to $400 per person including concert tickets and meet and greets for all 5 of you. I am sure I can find a couple of Glamberts to join you and twitter works well for the others. Otherwise like I said before if the hotel packages sell out, then they may offer individual tickets and move to a larger room. Good luck.

    Haha sometimes I’m in a room full of people, and I find myself wondering what would happen if Adam walked in looking all sexy and gorgeous like he usually does. I picture most of the people in the room turning to look at him and then just staring at him in wide-eyed, slack-jawed disbelief. In Love

    I like In the Groove, too, luval! That’s probably my favorite Madonna song.

    One of the best things about this Glee gig is that we get to hear Adam singing new and different songs, and then we get to BUY those songs and hold them in our hot little hands and listen to them over and over and over!

    By the way, luval, for the last several weeks, I haven’t been receiving all of Adam’s tweets either. It happens on both on my computer and my phone. I receive only about half of his tweets (not talking about @ replies, just regular tweets that I should be receiving). I don’t want to unfollow and re-follow him because he was my very first follow and I like having him first on my list. Don’t know what’s going on, but something is definitely weird. Who knows how many other people’s tweets I’m missing out on – but I definitely notice it with Adam. Is this happening for anyone else besides luval and me?

    I like the scruff (“Melvin-ish”?) but the attraction to full-on Melvin (as in “I miss it” and “I want it back”) is inexplicable to me, too.

    Particularly the ruthlessly manicured Captain Hook/Crabby Appleton/goatee version. Rotten to the core. Ayyyyyyyyeeeeee Billy!

    Not sure why you guys are not getting tweets. Using tweetdeck I don’t think I ever missed a tweet. I am curious, do you get or set up to get push notifications on your phones when he tweets? I will poke around and see if others are having issues.

    I wasn’t receiving Adam’s tweets either – set up tweetdeck – like that.

    HK fan – that Pittsburgh pic link doesn’t work for me.

    Like the minimal scruff a lot – not the “pirate” look – that’s pretty awful.

    I get all of Adam’s tweets AND his retweets. Can’t imagine why you guys don’t. Maybe it has something to do with your twitter setup or your phone setup? Have you done all the twitter updates on your phones?

    Yeah, I can’t find anything that this is happening across the board. risky I get all tweets also on my computer, tweet deck, and on my phone and when I am out on my iPad. Not sure what the setting would be to filter it any differently. Only setting that is different on the phone would be to receive push notifications.

    I don’t think there is anything Shoshanna could do. Probably the best thing to do is contact Twitter Help and see if they can help if there is an issue. https://support.twitter.com/

    Booking prices. Adam is in the second highest tier of earners but man, he looks cheap in comparison. LOL. Really, I have never thought about this before. I would have thought he would make more than 85-125K per appearance. But, jeez 5 shows and half a million….sign me up for that job…not bad, not bad at all. Lots of boots to be bought for that! I wonder what Queen would cost…they are not even on the list. My guess is 1-2 million. Nice.

    Hey, we can get 300 of the biggest fans and pay out $350 each and get a semi private concert. Hell, it is cheaper than Miami. And just for MILS somewhere in the middle…LOL Smile
