After a busy September with an abundance of positive reviews of Adam’s appearance with Queen and on Avicii’s “True”, October should be a quiet month. He will be busy on GLEE but those shows will only be broadcast starting in November. Let’s hope for leaks and treats to keep us chatting – as if we needed an excuse!

    kradamour: I think I understand (at least in parts) your bittersweet thoughts. Growing pains. As nice as it is to feel “needed” we should be proud he turned into such a strong and confident man. He has experienced a lot during the last 5 years and I think that shows in his look and his personality. I just want him to live a happy and productive life, and I hope I can enjoy his performances for a long time to come.

    I was just watching part of an episode of The Apartment (the Asian one), and they were doing an entertainment room. One of them had put a big screen on one wall and when the judges were looking round the room, Adams FYE video was playing on the screenSmile

    Looks as though they have a Freddie Mercury for the movie. Even better, they are in talks for a tour with Adam. Not a 9-month tour but “enough (shows) to get really good”. Yippeeee!

    I hear you mils. Nine weeks could cover about 20-24 shows. Could mean some middle America locations. If the offers Brian is talking about are from US promoters only, then it could be possible. Might go to Asia though. Remember aely’s figures? Queen rocked huge crowds there.

    Of course 9 weeks is all imho but Brian did say “enough shows to get really good”.
    I have never thought this before but Adam and Brian and Roger might need some time to “get really good”. Smile Big Smile Laugh Wink

    Ah, yes, luval, the fantom photo op from Paris! Still hoping for that one day!
    (Still sad, though, that I will never have that photo of my son with Adam.)

    I think that there will always be meet and greets, but they will be harder to come by, and cost beaucoup…likely connected to events like the one on Nov. 30.
    I also think that they will feel different. It will be Adam reaching back to us, not traveling side by side…up to now, I have felt on some level that we were all partners in his evolution…but there is a sort of threshold that seems to me to have been crossed.
    This is a very good thing, of course, and what we all want for him, and the impetus for our hours and dollars of support.
    I think it was Glambotgram who made the analogy to a parent losing a child from the nest…delighted in his ability to fly, but still something of a loss on a personal level, even though I think it is fair for us to take credit for a measure of Adam’s success, as he has underscored many times.
    When he tweets that he loves us, I think that he means it in a very real way.

    That latest interview with Brian May has certainly made my day! It sounds like a short Queenbert tour is becoming more and more likely. I’m so happy, but not surprised to learn that they are “in talks” after all the positive buzz about Adam and Queen from the iHeartRadio show. I really love Brian May. He is so intelligent, thoughtful, and articulate in his interviews, just like someone else we know. I also appreciated what he said about human interaction with wildlife in the interview. As a lover of wildlife, even the demonic deer who are wreaking havoc with my landscaping, I completely agree with him.

    Good news about future collabs with Queen – wouldn’t want an official “tour,” though – it’s a delicate balance between being known for his own brilliance or as just a frontman for the band.
