After a busy September with an abundance of positive reviews of Adam’s appearance with Queen and on Avicii’s “True”, October should be a quiet month. He will be busy on GLEE but those shows will only be broadcast starting in November. Let’s hope for leaks and treats to keep us chatting – as if we needed an excuse!

    Our boy got huge love by this show. Huge. Nobody else had this much face-time. On two nights. ( Nate, maybe )

    To me, Elton, Bruno and Adam ruled IHeartRadio. Period.

    And that is not even including all the HILARIOUS tweets from Glamberts…..I wish I would have thought to do this yesterday. There were sooooo many more like this. Actually, yesterday the tweets were overwhelming. I have never seen the feed move so fast(PPL and Idol were close). He made such a good impression on most everyone and had so much screen time devoted to him and Queen it was just great. For a clear channel event he couldn’t have received any better marketing.

    ulti You can use tweet deck or shadow me for mentions and their timeline. Searching on twitter basically does the same thing and catches most of the mentions, it is slower but easier to read. I love tweet deck.

    Did anyone see this XFactor audition a couple weeks ago? An aspiring country singer did a country version of Somebody To Love and it was pretty darn good. Better than Nate’s. She’s cute and good. Worth watching.

    ulti If you use Chrome go to http://www.tweetdeck.com and download the app. Then you can set up a mentions column and put @adamlambert Adam Lambert in the search and you can see how fast his feed moves as he looks at his mentions. When he tweets or is on TV,or doing a twitter party it is insane. You can also add a column for his timeline as well. You can also use the shadowme app if you have an iphone and it shows you his tweets he gets of all the people he follows. Let me know if that helps or if you need any more info.

    Finished watching night 2. I think the question of sound was answered tonight- it was lousy for everyone. I could barely hear Justin’s voice over his music. I don’t know why this was so. But I saw it was pretty universally bad. Adam Levine sounded like he had air in his water pipes for most of his. (And was Kesha lip synching?) So I don’t feel so bad about Adam’s. As everyone said, he had his time to shine. Just too bad about WWTLF. That’s was Emmy worthy. But not if it goes unaired.

    I really enjoyed Bruno Mars. He is so talented, both as a singer and a writer. Just excellent! The only one I’d put on a level with Adam, along with Elton John. Could you imagine a tour of Bruno and Adam? Whoa!

    Ok, beddy-bye time. I think I’m trying to catch a cold, and I’m feeling rather cuckoo! I just thank God for all of the good things that are happening for Adam right now. May they continue. I’m so thankful to share space on Earth with such an incredible man!

    aely, thanks for that Nile Rogers interview. I loved it. The only problem was, no Adam mention….I guess that we can forgive him just this once, since he is such a great mentor and usually raves about him whenever he can.

    And cher, that “country” singer on The X-Faxtor is Rachel Potter who has a very strong Broadway background:

    Her version of Somebody to Love was much more Broadway than Country, which was why it was so good! As Freddie and Adam have shown us, you need the theatrics to sing Queen well.

    She has just recently gone down to Nashville to try her luck as a Country singer. As usual, The X-Factor glaringly omits giving “little” details about the contestant’s pasts. That is one thing that is so much more refreshing about The Voice.

    ETA. Just watched it. So was that whole thing shown last night on TV? It was great! And I loved that the last shot was of Adam’s face and huge smile. How cool is that.

    So now I have a question that has been niggling at the back of my mind. Is there any connection between the people who put on this I-Heart festival and the people who decide what music will be played on the clear channel stations? Logically you would think there would be one, no?
