After a busy September with an abundance of positive reviews of Adam’s appearance with Queen and on Avicii’s “True”, October should be a quiet month. He will be busy on GLEE but those shows will only be broadcast starting in November. Let’s hope for leaks and treats to keep us chatting – as if we needed an excuse!

    asif: You should hear my accent. It is bad. And not getting any better even though I have lived in the US for almost 20 years. But I have decided to just get over myself and talk anyway because really nobody else cares and it is not very practical nor fun to be silent. So please just don’t worry about it.

    I am in awe of you, ultimathule, for the job you do bringing over so many Adam related pictures, vines, vids, articles – the list goes on and on. Of course I’m in awe of all the regular posters here, because they contribute so much, but that last picture “quizzical” was jaw-dropping! Reminds me of the old saying: “The best way to enter a room full of people is to stand up straight, feel confident and look like you have a secret.”
    Gotta say that Adam looks like he is either heeding that advice or really has a secret. Going with the latter; hope he shares it soon!

    Ulti, I was just going to post the very same thing – suspecting ownership interest in Hooray Henry’s and Bootsy Bellows. I even tried to look the business registration since these are both owned by The H.wood group. But couldn’t come up with it in a search.

    Quick peek in and what do I find? An impending horrific mob scene at Bootsy Bellows on October 31. How many peeps does the club hold? (Shakes head) Things could get ugly if that number doesn’t have four digits.

    I wouldn’t doubt it that he has some kind of investment in Bootsy’s or HHS. He’s like the pied piper. I used to have an interest of sorts in this one club I frequented. Wasn’t monetarily but I did some art on the walls and always wanted to bring people in. If not for myself (loved the place and never wanted it to close), but for my friend the owner. It worked… For awhile but then peeps would move on to the next big thing.

    WOW! Adam is really happy. His bio notes to the “Make-A-Wish” event say he is working on a new cd that will be released in 2014 so maybe that is it. Perhaps there is a label in the background. Perhaps they are waiting until 2014 to announce. Adam has a contract with RCA for adamofficial which runs out in December.

    That Bootsy Bellows video shows him with a very large party so perhaps they were celebrating something – a birthday maybe? I can see him holding court at a corner table LOL!

    Adam could be an investor in BB but he could also have an arrangement with them. Restaurants and clubs often work out comp relationships with celebrities or celebrity management companies, to maximize their own buzz. It attracts guest who hope to see the stars. It also helps to define their kind of cool, attracts a specific clientele. Adam is definitely becoming one of the key faces of BB.

    Boy George is awesome! Have to say, though, the UK didn’t really embrace him either. Lot’s of technical BBC1 radio reasons for that but the key music reviewers pulled down Adam’s metacritic ratings from 79 to 65 so no help from that quarter.

    Just logging in to make sure Cher knows about the Miami concert at the Fontainebleu on Nov 30. Regarding Boy George article that HK fan posted, I listened to his video on there and he still has a great voice – always impressed with his voice back in Culture Club days. Notice that Boy George is rockin the Melvin also.

    Halloween at Bootsy Bellows, Make-A-Wish Foundation Ball, Thanksgiving show at the Miami Fontainebleau, NYE at Winstar. Yay for lots of upcoming live appearances! And then there’s Glee of course on Nov. 7. So much to look forward to!

    I hope that lots of you can go to the Fontainebleau show. That would be fabulous!

    I too love this video of Adam walking strutting into Hooray Henry’s! Waiting patiently for the gif of the boots shot, and then the pan upward as he struts down the sidewalk. Yowza!

    He commands so much confidence and control in the way he carries himself.
