After a busy September with an abundance of positive reviews of Adam’s appearance with Queen and on Avicii’s “True”, October should be a quiet month. He will be busy on GLEE but those shows will only be broadcast starting in November. Let’s hope for leaks and treats to keep us chatting – as if we needed an excuse!

    I spoke to the Make A Wish people and the event is sold out and has been for weeks with 50 people (now 51 with me!) on the waiting list. She says there is pretty much zero chance. Because of fire laws, they can’t sell standing room after dinner for just the entertainment. There is the after party in the nightclub. She said Adam is free to attend if he wants but there is absolutely no guarantee. Doesn’t sound like he would perform. She said he goes on late at the dinner.

    Thanks, TLKC! I have been really busy, mostly still trying to extricate myself from obligations, but almost clear. Now making time for some home repairs/improvements, the sort of thing that hangs heavy around one’s neck until accomplished. Nothing really “just for me” yet, but I can see it off in the future!

    Maybe my Glee marathon is for me, though. Gotta say it’s rough to plow through the hot mess of season 4, but anything for Adam! (And yes, I do know that I could just read a synopsis, but that’s not how I roll…)

    My time away from the blog has made me very aware, though, of how off the radar Adam still is. I haven’t heard or read his name once except in the context of one small article in the paper about Glee. A sobering realization. Glee could be the catalyst that changes that, if his role recurs. I have come to think that no concert will ever put Adam on the larger radar, but Glee could be his ticket, especially if followed by appearances on the talk shows, SNL, and other television spots. I know that he has been there/done that (except for SNL) but doing Glee first, to already have him on peeps’ radar, would be different and have much more impact (IMHO).

    Interesting, kradamour, about Adam being so off the radar. After Queen & Adam at the iheart festival it just seemed like he/they just blew up all over the place! But as usual it was just in the confines of iheart radio listeners and Adam blogs. Am hoping the Glee gig will help. But like you said it has to translate to the mainstream, primetime or talk shows. I still picture him on the outside looking in. Frown

    You are definitely missed here! The perfect example was when both you and cwm described Adam as “too interested” in the fashion show nearly simultaneously. That cracked me up!

    The premiere of ‘Bridegroom’ will be on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) on October 27 at 10 p.m. (not sure which time zone this is). If he donated a song for this movie we will get to hear it then!

    Bridegroom youtube was very sad and heartfelt. So sad that when you lose someone so close and important, his relatives act so extreme way. I really want to see the whole document film, especially with Adam’s song in it. OOL would be perfect.

    I spent past 7 days completely at my mom’s and we finally moved her last weekend. Phew what a job this has been, 30 years of stuff to go through…

    I hope I will finally have time to catch up Glee on line. But I have followed the beginning of season 4 weekly, so I am about on the map of the characters. Can’t wait to see Adam there Big Smile! Based on that trailer, I am not surprised if he has given some ideas about the character re auditioning too over-the-top.

    I have watched Sauli’s own show, I like it, it’s interesting and he is very natural. Also follow his skating on DOI. I am not surprised if he wins it at the end, he and his partner has got the best scores from judges most times. The other half is voters’ scores, but they only tell final (lowest) two by the total scores, not the others. But I haven’t got time to read any media or sites lately, so I don’t know how he’s perceived by public…
