After a busy September with an abundance of positive reviews of Adam’s appearance with Queen and on Avicii’s “True”, October should be a quiet month. He will be busy on GLEE but those shows will only be broadcast starting in November. Let’s hope for leaks and treats to keep us chatting – as if we needed an excuse!

    rs, I really enjoy all the shows you listed as being some of your favorites, so I feel comfortable recommending Breaking Bad. I really love this show – just as some of you were commenting on how hard it is to believe the same creative minds came up with Glee and AHS, I find it hard to believe that Bryan Cranston (Walter in Breaking Bad), also played the dad in Malcolm in the Middle! It’s intense, but not overly bloody and not scary at all. I can’t watch scary/bloody at all – stresses me out too much!

    Morning.

    I am not a big TV watcher rs but if you love Downtown Abbey, you might like Foyle’s War. It is set in WWII Britain and stars Michael Kitchen as an older police detective, not quite fit for combat, who investigates murder and other home-front crimes. The series is in it’s 7th season and each season is about 4-6 episodes. They are now post-war and Foyle works for MI5.

    Elementary is also pretty good. It features Johnny Lee Miller as a latter-day Sherlock Holmes and Lucy Liu as his Dr. Watson. The chemistry between them is terrific. Watson has as complicated a psyche as Holmes. I’ve only seen a few episodes but I’m hooked. A bit of a weakness for crime-solving Englishmen…. Grin

    I agree with you about True Blood. Its weird, as I don’t find it too gory, its just so camp and over the top and ridiculous at times with all the blood that its not too scary. I really hope Eric hasn’t died though.
    I love the Walking Dead too. I didn’t think I would, when I first saw it advertised my boys kept saying how good it was, and I was like, it looks disgusting, how can you watch that. Then I sat and watched a couple of episodes with my younger son and was hooked. In fact I’m currently rewatching them all ready for the new season to start. Just watched the finale of s2 again.
    Have you seen Sherlock, (the English one) with Benedict Cumberbatch, thats really good, think you’d like that. And Call the Midwife, another UK one, I’ve only seen S1 of that but really enjoyed it.
    Love Greys Anatomy too, and Bones.

    You all listed most of the shows I watch. I am on season 3 of Justified and really love it.My son loves Homeland, nut it is on Showtime so I don’t get it. Love love love True Blood.I ordered HBO just for that and Game of Thrones. I just cancelled so I do not know about next year
    I watch the cooking competitions shows also
    Amazing race is a favorite too

    Hi glambotgram. Aw last night on Amazing Race my two favorites left. So now I’m rooting for the long haired guys! Love all the food competition shows. Do you watch the kids one on Fox with Gordon Ramsey? They are amazing!

    Love most of the shows you guys have listed, especially Foyle’s War and Justified (just brilliant, and what a hunk Timothy Olyphant is!) I would add The White Queen, about the War of the Roses, based on Philippa Gregory’s excellent books, and Homeland too (also brilliant).

    Looks like Shoshanna wants to take the AdamLambert account on Instagram away from whoever is running it, and give it to Adam so he doesn’t have to use RealAdamLambert. She’s on the warpath lol. There is also an AdamLambert on Twitter who even faked the certification seal (haven’t checked lately, maybe they removed).

    I missed The Amazing Race tonight, had lots of people round for a bbq (public holiday), just read the recap on MJ’s. Hope I’ll catch a rerun at some point this week.

    I’m not surprised to hear about the Kesha/Pitbull cancellation. There not very well known down-under (unlike Mr.lambert).Kesha I know through the Adam connection and Pitbull who? Yes, I know of him but really don’t get him.

    I totally forget about Energy Radio. I am home about 3pm EDT and I think that’s when the show starts. But usually am putzing around or stopping at the store and before you know it the show is over! It’s only when someone reminds me (808glam lol) I’ll turn it on. Missed it today but will write myself a note for next Monday.

    LOL luval! At least I can do something sometimes… reminding! I checked here and no mention, so I did it. For me it is 9 in the morning on Mondays, so a great start to the day and week, however, today I totally forgot about breakfast then!

    rs, American Horror Story is also campy and way over the top. That’s the only way I can get through it. They use a horrific into just like True Blood. The shows are tremendously acted, and creepy.

    I am not a fan of horror movies in general. But I love love love True Blood and AHS. I did do my share of reading Stephen King though. The only movies made from his books that I like are not the scary ones. Go figure. Shawshank Redemption. Green Mile. Stand By Me.

    You may like Boardwalk Empire. It does have violence, it is set in Prohibition times,. and the characters are bootleggers. This year gets into Al Capone. Bobby Cannavale won an Emmy for his role last year, so very very deserved. He was such an over the top brutal gangster you could feel it on a visceral level.

    Hey, here’s a random question:

    I was watching the IHeartRadio stuff this morning while getting dressed for work. I just love to start my day with music. Lately it’s Gorilla by Bruno at Iheart and something Queenbert.

    Right before Queen WWRY, there was a fan shown with that, umm, intersting Adam’s Cuckoo Bitch sign on her back. Does anybody here know her or know who she is?

    Curious minds must know…
