After a busy September with an abundance of positive reviews of Adam’s appearance with Queen and on Avicii’s “True”, October should be a quiet month. He will be busy on GLEE but those shows will only be broadcast starting in November. Let’s hope for leaks and treats to keep us chatting – as if we needed an excuse!
Enjoy the chat!

ultimathule…I saw that twitter pic with the 4 woman but people are saying it’s from months ago when he visited a radio station. Not sure if we ever saw it, though.

  2. ultimathule says:

Can probably check by the outfit. Thanks, luval.

Now I think that photo may be from last night. The outfit is the same. See this:

His hair is going the wrong way but outfit is the same.

This Grand Rapids WLL 9/6/09 was just re-tweeted – still mindboggling.

I sometimes play this (and other WLL vids) just to hear the audience going berserk – love it.

I love that necklace he’s wearing, luval – looks like it’s directing our eyes somewhere – lol.

  8. ultimathule says:

Yes, very interesting article – TRUE is on the cutting edge of something very different.

  9. luval says:

The graphics, lights, just the way everything from the American Idol tour in 2009 was genius. And Adam says he loved every second he was on stage during the tour.

Did you see the Idol tour ultimathule?

  10. ultimathule says:
  11. ultimathule says:

I saw the Idol Tour in D.C. – cavernous Patriot Center (think that’s the name) – decided a short time before to go and paid $200-plus for a ticket sort of high up on the side – they upgraded a day later for free. Glad I went, but would never attend another concert there – looked at the jumbotrons as much as the stage.

  12. luval says:

I don’t think that was posted, ulti. There are so many blogs I’ve never heard of so it’s nice to see it on yahoo news. Don’t think it’s been on the Huffington Post although I could be wrong.

What a weekend! Saw @taylormomsen and The Pretty Reckless on Friday night at the HOB. She was great!!!

Isn’t Glee a weekly show? So wouldn’t episodes 5 and 6 be on Nov. 14th and 21st? I suppose they might skip the 28th, which I think is Thanksgiving, but what about December? Don’t see why Adam might not appear until January. Also, would he have to sing to be in an episode?

  17. riskylady says:
  18. milwlovesadam says:

Yes. Glee is a weekly show. Yes, they often skip weeks for programming reasons, or baseball, or a Holiday. They often take several hiatuses a year.

As far as we know, he will have a recurring character. He may not be in consecutive episodes. Just like Kate Hudson last year. I actually hope she comes back, she was terrific, IMHO.

I am soooo over Blaine. If he “moves out” to NYC, dang it, he’ll have more time to steal songs from Adam.

I do predict that the “nemesis” part of the plot leak will be, as I have said before, that Blaine and Adam cause Curt some jealousy. Also, that Adam steals some performing thunder from him, and also Rachel spends more time with him.

In the meantime, his upcoming episode is getting so much attention. My workberts were talking about it. ***so proud***

  19. ultimathule says:

The LifeBall one at the bottom is really cute, too.

  20. ultimathule says:

Have to go find out who Blaine is – lol.

Googled – Darren Criss – hmm – saw him sing live at a concert – just OK really – is he considered a good performer, mils?

  22. ultimathule says:

Just thought, and someone else mentioned, he’s “fully inspired” by Pink? Have seen vids of her on a trapeze swinging over the audience. Izzat what he means – lol?

  23. luval says:

they often skip weeks for programming reasons, or baseball, or a Holiday. They often take several hiatuses a year.

Ain’t that the truth! When this happens sometimes I would forget about the show, then am angry when I missed it. Won’t happen when Adam’s on, though.

I never cared for Blaine from day one either as a singer or actor on Glee. But he has his fans. Confused

  24. milwlovesadam says:

Gleeks adore Blaine. I’m thinking young fans of Glee. To me, he’s another 28-31 year old singer/actor playing a high schooler. He’s cute, but, I’m so over his character. And. This is a big And.

His voice is ho-hum. It sounds flat to me, no emotion, no nuances. Lack of tone. The only performance of his that “talked to me” was his piano only acoustic cover of Teenage Dream. He really sang and performed his heart out on that one.

Oh. And I just can’t stand the concept of a high school senior proposing marriage to a college sophomore. Gay or straight. I didn’t like it when Finn and Rachel got engaged either.
Anyone else care to weigh in?

  25. luval says:

ultimathule…bet you are right…about the swinging. Just like Pink was doing at her live concerts and on awards shows.

  26. milwlovesadam says:
  27. ultimathule says:

Such great closeups in that Hold On vid, luval – fascinating face – so expressive and full of life – the humor so evident.

  28. luval says:

The engagement/marriage/breakup/whatever is played out so much. Like a soap opera, a musical one in this case. Well, it’s new to some people who aren’t Glee watchers.

I loved Kate Hudson’s character too. Hope they can work her back in.

  29. milwlovesadam says:

Loved that Just Hold On vid. It was made so well. I’m kinda thinking that all those commercials, out-takes and comedy bits finally landed him Glee.

I think this is American Horror story. I don’t watch it.

    Adam Lambert ‏@adamlambert 5m

Did everyone catch @AHSFX Coven this week? Soo good!!

  32. nkd says:

risky, January is just my guess. I’m thinking that 6 episodes may be all they do for this fall season, but I’m just going on history, I really know nothing.

I think Darren Criss is a cutie. I liked Blaine better when he first came on the show.
mils, I’m in agreement with you on the high school engagements, don’t care for it.

  33. nkd says:

I found this on the Glee wiki page
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glee_(season_5)

The show will return after baseball finishes its postseason, and will air as many as seven episodes in a row without interruption.[5]

So maybe we get a few more this fall.

  34. HK fan says:

    Mils
as someone that got engaged at 16, I can’t really say I’m against high school engagements!!!!!! if they do though, they should have a long engagement like meSmile

I don’t mind Blaines character, but I don’t find him that attractive or cute..

  35. milwlovesadam says:

Did everyone catch @AHSFX Coven this week? Soo good!!

Definitely American Horror Story, on FX, OMG. In-credible.

I’ve watched it since the first season. Anybody can join in right now. Each season is it’s own separate story line. They use a “stable” of actors, just like in old time TV. They come back in new roles with a new story each year. There has only been one episode so far, and it is available both on cable and on line. The first season was a haunted house, more or less. The second was a corrupt and hellish asylum. This year it’s New Orleans and witches, thus the title “coven.”

The first episode was just soooo well done. Hard to believe that Glee and AHS come out of the same creative minds. LOL. I forgot. They did Nip/Tuck first. Talk about sick and twisted. ( Loved that too).

  36. nkd says:

I first learned of Darren Criss when my daughter was watching “A Very Potter Musical” that Darren and his friends at Univ of Michigan wrote and performed. It gathered a following via youtube. I could never watch an entire episode of it, or even a full 10 minutes.
Their company is called StarKid Productions.

  37. nkd says:

Hard to believe that Glee and AHS come out of the same creative minds.

    Isn’t it though?!

  38. mmm222 says:

mils- I completely agree with everything you said about Darren/Blaine, his character and his voice. I listened to him singing live on You Tube a while ago and was even less impressed with his voice. It was strained, monotonous, and not pleasant to listen to. I also don’t like the high school engagements. I don’t see the point of this, although the show where Rachel’s and Finn’s parents had dinner with them and then told them to spend the night together like a married couple had some really funny scenes.

  39. milwlovesadam says:

And I totally agree with you mmm.

On a whole different note, rs, if you watch Israeli Idol ( Kochav Nolad ), please look out for a family friend, friend of my boys, he made it through auditions and is on TV. Ilan Eckhardt. He comes from a very very musical family. Both parents are professional. Dad is a classically trained singer.

  40. luval says:

Have to get up early for work tomorrow. Couldn’t find anywhere on-line that shows AHS. Hulu says it does not have the rights but here’s the synopsis.

    Initiation
    TV Spot(30 sec)
    (605)
American Horror Story: Coven tells the secret history of witches and witchcraft in America. Over three hundred years have passed since the turbulent days of Salem and those who managed to escape are now facing extinction. Mysterious attacks have been escalating against their kind and young girls are being sent away to a special school in New Orleans to learn how to protect themselves. Wrapped up in the turmoil is new arrival, Zoe, who is harboring a terrifying secret of her own. Alarmed by the recent aggression, Fiona, the long-absent Supreme, sweeps back into town, determined to protect the Coven and hell-bent on decimating anyone who gets in her way

    Sound right, mils? Good nite!

  41. milwlovesadam says:

    fxnetworks.com

Maybe try there. Or there are a gazillion reruns on FX.

Or come to my house. I’ll leave the lights on.

Or, maybe Adam will have a watching party. Muwhahaha.

  42. milwlovesadam says:

If anybody else is watching, Jessica Lange is sublime. Kathy Bates may win an Emmy. Angela Basset is just getting started.

Gah. This show has Emmy written all over it, and it’s only one episode in.

  43. ultimathule says:

Just looked it up, mils – couldn’t get past snakes coming out of people’s mouths – lol.

  44. JOJOSIE says:

I usually watch Sauli’s,best friend show. The one last night wasn’t as good as the one last week. It featured a chef. He spoke some of the time in English and when he did Sauli would also speak in English. The chef also used a lot of profanity and it wasn’t bleeped out like it would be on our TV. Since he was using English maybe they changed it in translation for the Finish audience. It was 40 minutes well spent even if I only understood part of it. Sauli is so darn cute. If neither Adam or Sauli find anyone else I think they might try love again when he returns to L.A. But maybe I’m just wishful thinking. I’ve not watched Glee and probably won’t till Adam is on. I think he’ll be great on it. I’m feeling very optimistic about Adam but I guess I always have. Big Smile

  45. ultimathule says:

Love it that you’re optimistic, JOJOSIE – need that reassurance from time to time – really helps.

  46. twilightmagic8 says:

Your post made me feel all warm & fuzzy inside JOJOSIE.
Your commitment & positive attitude is what many Adam fans feel.

Ran across videos by a Wayne Parker – they’re in a loop – London 7/12/12 – very clear picture – this is TSMGO – also the WATC is great – pulls to the crowd at the end which I always love to see.

  49. rs says:

Ok mils, I will watch out for Ilan, although I don’t usually watch Israeli Idol (they are bringing in an Israeli X Factor now, lol.)

But while the blog is relatively quiet I have a non Adam question for all you TV watchers. I don’t get the vast majority of the shows here, so I watch them on the computer and decide what shows to see. It doesn’t matter if they are still on the air or not. You rave about Breaking Bad and the American Horror Show, but I hate things with lots of violence and I have NEVER watched horror movies. (The only exception is True Blood, which I got into because of Adam, and got hooked.) I saw a few minutes of The Walking Dead one day and it just looked weird. I love Greys Anatomy, The Mentalist, The Good Wife, Parenthood, Law and Order SVU, Bones, Downton Abbey, Glee, Chopped , Project Runway, Top Chef, SYTYCD, Idol (when it was good) etc.

So should I try and watch Breaking Bad and AHS or will they be too scary for me? I really hate blood and gore, except for TB, where it is so ridiculous that you know it isn’t real, and even there I look away sometimes.

    Thanks for your help.

  50. Kiwi says:

Hi RS, I also watch many of the shows you listed…. Greys Anatomy, The Mentalist, The Good Wife, Law and Order SVU, Bones, Downton Abbey, Glee, Project Runway, Idol .
I didn’t watch breaking bad and didn’t like AHS-Asylum???(Didn’t mind seeing Adam Levine dying in the first couple of episodes though!) I watched the first series but found that 2nd series too much.I’ll give “AHS-Coven” a go.
One of my favourite shows of all was Justified. Loved it.
I also enjoy an Australian show called “A place to call home” It’s along the lines of Downton Abbey.
