As October begins, Adam has just announced the official radio add date (October 8) for Trespassing, which is the title track and the third U.S. single from his album of the same name. A Trespassing EP with a radio edit and album remixes will also be available on October 16. After limited success for the first two singles from Trespassing, Adam likely needs this third single to be a hit in order to continue onward with the Trespassing era, at least here in the United States.

After an October 13th concert date in Australia, Adam will return to the U.S. for a pair of dates during the second half of the month, on October 17th at the Arizona State Fair in Phoenix, and on October 29th at the Texas Tango radio concert in Grand Prarie.     Just bought the EP from adamofficial. Can’t wait to get it. Will by the single and the digital EP from iTunes as well. I have a feeling that this is going to do well. There are nearly 1000 comments on the song on VEVO – not all from OTT fans.

    The lyric video is a great. It’s fast-moving and doesn’t distract you from the song. The lyrics scroll is good for newbies. It’s a smart song but the words slip by so fast, a lot of people might miss that.

    TLKC…as long as you have wheels on your suitcase you can ride in my car along with Ron. Unless his costume takes up too much room. Smile

    Hopefully the new drummer (temporary ??) will have more finesse and be a little less bombastic than the last one.

    TLKC, Ron, if you go to that Queen thing you better have your Force Field Up. I don’t think I could go without murdering a few of them. So BULLHEADED about Paul Rodgers, and that Brian and Roger should just have immolated themselves on Freddie’s grave instead of continuing to perform their OWN music. And, I guess NO ONE can play bass except Deacon. Gaaahhhhhh! I was really thrilled to see audiences come around in the UK, but I know there are pockets of a**holes out there still. Well, if there is a US tour with Queen, they will eat crow.

    And, some of the comments against Brian on that Guitar poll are in the same vein. I will vote for him as much as I can. Besides, Jimi has been dead for how long now???????

    That Greatest Guitarist pole is a hard one and not really fair. I love Brian May and his guitar playing and voted for him, but I remember Hendrix and how mesmerizing he was (I will never forget that Star Spangled Banner from Woodstock http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DcZKkZO7CTI ). He opened the door for so many Rock guitarists who came after him to have solo careers and Brian would probably vote for him.

    I have to say I love Brian May but Hendrix is/was the greatest guitarist of all time. All others are modeled after him and what he could do with a guitar.

    Bad Fan here, I really do not like remixes so I probably won’t buy it, maybe I’ll just gift another trespassing CD instead.

    What did the beliebers do today? I saw something about them copying, after Trespassing is Perfect was trending.

    I too hope the drummer has a lighter hand than the last one.

    Hendrix is a legend for all time. When Rolling Stone does their “greatest” lists, he’s always at the top or near the top. Brian May was unfortunately around 50th last time. I could do some research and find out for sure.

    Now, if the list was “living greatest”, maybe Brian would rank higher. IMHO.

    The only time I watch is when I’m on the treadmill and I never know what’s on – just graze and hope for something – home repair, travel, old movie, sometimes a talk show if someone interesting is on, national emergency, etc.

    Used to watch TV when younger, Dr. Kildare was my fav – but it’s been downhill ever since. Just don’t watch – other things to do – mostly involving music.

    Make a point to watch Idol, though.

    Jimi Hendrix may have been a pioneer, but I wouldn’t list him as the greatest guitarist of all time. His career lasted all of four years, before ending in a drug overdose. By his own accounts, he was high on LSD on many of his performances.

    On the other hand, Brian May still sounds pretty darn good at 65, and has a love of music and joy of performing that has lasted for a good long career. He has had his own influence in the world of music as the Queen sound is pretty distinctive.

    I really have no preference for greatest guitarist of all time, but it always bugs me to see Hendrix worshiped as the greatest, when a lot of what he did was drug-fueled. He was unique at the time, but I don’t know that he would have stood the test of time.
