As October begins, Adam has just announced the official radio add date (October 8) for Trespassing, which is the title track and the third U.S. single from his album of the same name. A Trespassing EP with a radio edit and album remixes will also be available on October 16. After limited success for the first two singles from Trespassing, Adam likely needs this third single to be a hit in order to continue onward with the Trespassing era, at least here in the United States.

After an October 13th concert date in Australia, Adam will return to the U.S. for a pair of dates during the second half of the month, on October 17th at the Arizona State Fair in Phoenix, and on October 29th at the Texas Tango radio concert in Grand Prarie.     Queen has an annual convention weekend each year in England. I didn’t realize that they have them in other parts of the world. The big one is a weekend of basically drinking and meeting up with life long Queen fans and they have different events. Like this year they did a singing competion, a red, white and blue ball (Jubilee and the Olympics), dances (disco) etc. I have always wanted to go as it seems like a great time. It is in April next year at the Vauxhall Holiday Park. I enjoy reading about it in the fan club magazine each year. Something to think about it being closer but I wonder if it would be as grand as the one in England?

    wow, thanks for all the homecoming info Nope we have nothing like that in the UK or HK. We have adopted the prom though, normally held in year 11 and year 13 here, but my kids school is now not holding the year 11 prom as the teachers can’t be bothered to organise 2, even though the students do most of the organising.
    Its a HK tradition for kids (especially expat kids) to go to Koh Samui in Thailand after they graduate for a week of drinking and full moon parties…..
    re mums, why on earth are they called that and why on earth would anyone want to wear one????

    re Trespassing EP cover, I don’t dislike it, but you can’t see Adams face which seems a bit odd.

    Thank you for the explanation. So it’s Queen fans meeting and partying with other Queen fans. Brian and Roger won’t be in attendance with no chance of a surprise appearance by Adam. This is the scenario that came to mind last night when I first learned about it and without knowing what a Queen convention entailed.

    I went to bed with visions of a Ste.-Agathe like invasion of Toronto next year by lots of peeps here but that doesn’t seem likely now.

    Still sounds like fun though. If there’s an open bar, I’m definitely going.

    Jacky at QueenOnLine has been keeping some of the Toronto fans posted and a lot of Glamberts will probably go. We will par-tay with the Queen fans and have an amazing time and make enough excitement to get Brian and Roger thinking about a Queenbert concert in our town.

    To me this is a great chance to get together and have fun. We will have the welcome wagon ready for anyone from out-of-town who wants to show up.

    We just had a karaoke night. I think Queen karaoke would be great and I’m sure there will be a lot of people game to try it.

    Yesterday Trespassing was #154 on iTunes Pop Top 200, today up to #128!!! Yay for that. Slow and steady, I repeat……

    Since his performance Sunday on Voice of China, he has gained 50,000 NEW followers on his Weibo account, from 119k to 169k this morning. Yay for that, too!

    jlurks, looks like YouTube has the best revenue. Adam has MILLIONS of views there, so could be a nice little chunk – I’m not sure if it’s YouTube and/or Vevo who pays, because now the Vevo vids appear on YouTube too, so must be linked in some way. The new ones: BTIKM 10 million+ and NCOE 9 million+ already.

    LOVE the EP cover! Someone on Twitter said it would make a great t-shirt! And the remix list sounds great, too! Workout/walking boosters!

    HK fan, I just watched the video you posted earlier (young boy telling his struggles for being bullied because he is gay). It was really touching. It just makes me think why people have to be so cruel to some others, who happen to be different in some aspect? Whether sexuality, looking different or being different from main stream in some other ways, too shy or what ever. It happens at schools, at work places, neighborhoods, anywhere people are in groups. Causes so much mental consequences, low self esteem and depression. So sad. I wonder don’t they understand how it makes that person feel, or don’t they just care… I am glad there are programs and campaigns which try to change people’s views.
