As October begins, Adam has just announced the official radio add date (October 8) for Trespassing, which is the title track and the third U.S. single from his album of the same name. A Trespassing EP with a radio edit and album remixes will also be available on October 16. After limited success for the first two singles from Trespassing, Adam likely needs this third single to be a hit in order to continue onward with the Trespassing era, at least here in the United States.
After an October 13th concert date in Australia, Adam will return to the U.S. for a pair of dates during the second half of the month, on October 17th at the Arizona State Fair in Phoenix, and on October 29th at the Texas Tango radio concert in Grand Prarie. I watch SYTYCD, I have been watching X-Factor but FF through most of it(sob stories) I catch DWTS every once in awhile. I like some of the cooking competition shows too.
I guess there goes the theory that people don’t buy music anymore.

Zimmmern is a cuddly nice Jewish boy from Minneapolis. LOL. He loves him some pork!! My boys and I used to watch that show all the time. That and Dirty Jobs and Survivor Man. One time in a tropical forest somewhere he used a stick to pull a huge grub thingy out of a log and just bit into it. I nearly puked, but my boys just laughed!!
One time Bourdain was in Africa somewhere and they cracked an ostrich egg right onto burning wood embers and ate it with all the ashes.
They are both real chefs and sometimes pop up on cooking shows too. But, Bourdain. Aahhh. There’s just something about him…
I just watched Kradison “Crazy”. Yes, that is the jacket he wore in Shanghai. This boy never throws out ANYTHING. Master of recycling. But he is not gonna fool us, right? Ha!
With buttoned up collar this jacked is very oriental looking, Mao style.

eywflyer or AL I have a question about the site. I bookmark the monthly thread and change the bookmark when the next monthly thread starts. Some months I click on the bookmark and the page I was on when I bookmarked comes up, that is the way September was. So I always have to bookmark again on the latest page. Now in October’s thread when I click on my bookmark the latest page comes up.
I hope I am explaining myself well, it’s not a big deal but I was wondering if something was changing in the settings when a new thread is started?

There was once a Chinese buffet place here that had all the usual americanized stuff on the main buffet, but toward the back was another table with covered pots and labels written only in Chinese, so I assume that they didn’t expect anyone else to eat those dishes. I always tried at least one or two when we went there (my sons loved the buffet) and had some delicious surprises! When I brought my plate back to the table, everyone would peer at it and make faces, and some of it probably did look questionable – like the large feet of some sort of bird, for example – but I always enjoyed what I tried.
Unfortunately, it is closed now.
I miss trying the dishes.

There are different bookmarks that will do different things.
Here are some examples.

This version takes you to the top of the comment section and to the latest page

This one will take you to a specific page number of the comments (page 2 in this case)

This one will take you to a specific comment (your earlier comment) – or could be the last comment you read and want to start from later.
When there is only one page, I believe you get the #1 bookmark by default so that is why you find yourself on the latest comment page every time you click your October bookmark. If you created a bookmark when there was more than 1 page, you will get #3 – bookmark with a specific page.
So depending where you want to start, you need to set up your bookmark that way.
You can edit any bookmark by going to the Bookmark menu and then right-mouse-clicking when it is highlighted (hovered over) and then choose “Properties” and edit the “Location”. Then “Save”. I use option #2 and then change the month when the thread changes.
Hope that all makes sense!
AL yes that makes sense. So basically it was when I was bookmarking that made the difference. Sometimes I caught a thread right away, and sometimes it was a couple of days old before I got to it. Thank you, it was confusing me.

Geez, that Muse song is a blatant copy of Don’t Stop Me Now. And Madness, another song from that album, is almost electronica….Sorry, losing respect for Muse now. Copying Queen is just cheap. No better than Gaga copying Madonna.
Gotta say, a lot of music is starting to sound to me like something in the past. Maybe just because I am getting older, and music trends come back after a while, but I think that there is a lot of…um…hommage (eye roll) to earlier performers.
I have to say I kind of like the song. Yes, that one particular melody line is straight from Don’t Stop Me Know, and I also hear a lot of Radiohead influences and see cwm’s avi, but still a beautiful track to me. The only thing I dislike about Muse/Radiohead is that they seem to be taking themselves to darn seriously, everything is so symphonic and melodramatic, where is the humor? (And that’s where Adam comes in…).

I know Lady Gaga has made it a mission to combat bullying but Adam is a true inspiration because he actually lives the situation on a daily basis. Ryan made it a smooth segue-away into promoting Trespassing, too.

Anything that makes Idol regret their choice of judges is totally deserved, imho. Adam has so much to offer as a judge and they went for pure and simple fame, regardless of the other qualities needed.
The article says they closed down the show for the day. Can you imagine the contestant who was standing there through all of that and wondering if she/he might get lost in the shuffle?

I don’t know what to say about that Idol judge episode. If they try to be entertaining, I think they cross the line. Probably not entertaining, if they have to close the situation for the day. When I watch those shows, I like to see the singing, don’t mind about the judges. I guess I am so naive I didn’t realize the judges are the main entertainment…

I did it! I finally got Gravatar to work for me. All I had to do was quit trying to use mmm222 as my registered name and the rest was really easy. (Thanks to Lady North for leading me in that direction.) The biggest problem that I found was trying to find a picture that looks reasonable when reduced to this size. After 5 tries, I settled on this one. I took it at the Botanical Gardens in Oslo last June.
