As October begins, Adam has just announced the official radio add date (October 8) for Trespassing, which is the title track and the third U.S. single from his album of the same name. A Trespassing EP with a radio edit and album remixes will also be available on October 16. After limited success for the first two singles from Trespassing, Adam likely needs this third single to be a hit in order to continue onward with the Trespassing era, at least here in the United States.
After an October 13th concert date in Australia, Adam will return to the U.S. for a pair of dates during the second half of the month, on October 17th at the Arizona State Fair in Phoenix, and on October 29th at the Texas Tango radio concert in Grand Prarie. I think I;ve worked out why the fangs always look odd on Adam, he wears them on the 2nd teeth from the front teeth, while on Trueblood (just started rewatching it), they wear them on the first teeth from the front ones which looks much better.

I’m not much for Halloween, but I do love Mardi Gras and costumes that aren’t necessarily spook-oriented. I have put together a pretty good Marie Antoinette costume over the years, and wear it with a black gauze eye covering à la Kirsten Dunst.
My wedding dress makes an excellent Empress Josephine – I made it from an 1806 ballgown pattern, in white silk velvet. Nice to get multiple uses from a wedding dress without having to undergo multiple marriages…!

BTW. For anyone watching American Horror Story. Yikes. This year is so much scarier than last year. But, the acting is amazing. I saw Jessica Lange on Ellen, and she was saying how Ryan Murphy wants to re-create the Mercury Theater from early TV and have a stable of actors to use every year in different roles.
The original Law and Order did that a lot.

Jlurks I just want you to know that Twinkle Toes is in the mail. I hated to see it/her/him go but it was time. Since Adam has come out endorsing Obama, I have a story to share. My youngest daughter has been working her ass {I can use that word cause Adam does}off. She’s knocked on over 1000 doors and made over 1500 phone calls, organized early voting events and much much more. She got a call that said if you get a call that says ID blocked take the call. About an hour later the phone rang and a voice said,”Hello Joan, this is Barack. I’m calling to thank you for your hard work in Fayette Country. She thanked him and said it was a labor of love. He asked her if she was up for the finale push and she assured him she was. A few seconds later the call ended. Her first words to me was, I guess I’m on a first name basis with the president. I’m sure it’s a call she’ll not forget. The president has been in Iowa alot lately as it’s one of those swing states. Right now it looks like he’s ahead here.

My son has been working his nether parts off for the other guy (deep sigh here). I know what it would mean to him to get a call from Romney, so I can pretty much imagine the thrill for your daughter. You must be so proud of her, really putting her beliefs into action!

I’m way behind on Trueblood, I know they have shown series 4 here and are now on 5, but I’ve not been watching as I hadn’t seen all of S3, and I wanted to go in order. But I just brought S3 on dvd last week, but decided to rewatch fom S1 to recap, so up to ep8 now. Love it. I don’t know anyone else that watches it here though

HK Fan, I have been saying that the fangs are on the wrong teeth since the first photo that I saw of them! I don’t like them because they distort the shape of his mouth and smile. I wonder if he did it on purpose. Maybe if he put them on the teeth closer to the front they would interfere with his singing or bother his tongue.

You know…..I am so nieve I guess! I have been enjoying the fact that I could come here and not be hit with hateful political comments. I think its great if someone has had a positive experience that makes them have faith in our political system. But we can’t just let that be. That has to be used as platform to denegrate “the other guy”. So if we don’t say Romney’s name then we haven’t just taken a shot at him? I can’t go on Facebook because of the hate going back and forth. Please can’t we keep this a political agenda free zone?

Hey luval, I will wait a little longer to decide. Too much happening this week. I will probably make a week of it and stay with my friend for all of the nights except the one before the concert. How long will you stay? The Christmas windows and shopping are so amazing in NYC – a day just rooting around in the shops is my idea of very, very good time.
I could take the train down to your town (Syracuse?) and drive in with you. It would be nice to have a bit of a “road trip” experience. I will definitely take the train back.

Planet Fierce…I haven’t seen any hateful political comments. Because Adam seems to have embraced politics (never thought he’d do that), I think that is why we comment on it. Because it’s important to him it’s important to us. Yes, sometimes one “side of the aisle” is represented more. I don’t mind the talk at all, especially when there is humor involved. As for most political talk on fun sites: if it wasn’t so sad it would be funny. One of the sites I frequent has a weird thing going on. A prolific poster has a father and sister on different sides of the political argument. If she forgets to close her browser, they hop in and post the most ridiculously OTT comments back-and-forth on whatever sites are open. The poster apologized a while back but she forgot to close her window on Friday night and the Adam Glampire thread alternated between differing predictions of Armegeddon and obsessive appraisals of Hallowe’en costumes.
