As October begins, Adam has just announced the official radio add date (October 8) for Trespassing, which is the title track and the third U.S. single from his album of the same name. A Trespassing EP with a radio edit and album remixes will also be available on October 16. After limited success for the first two singles from Trespassing, Adam likely needs this third single to be a hit in order to continue onward with the Trespassing era, at least here in the United States.

After an October 13th concert date in Australia, Adam will return to the U.S. for a pair of dates during the second half of the month, on October 17th at the Arizona State Fair in Phoenix, and on October 29th at the Texas Tango radio concert in Grand Prarie. Above we see a beautiful photo from @Alikat1323, taken at Adam’s September 25th benefit concert in support of marriage equality. Enjoy the chat!

I love that NZ fan video, riskylady. The scrolling statement at the end is so beautiful….Adam is the Mothership…it’s like a family Christmas everyday. And the tee with the eye of horus and infinity put together was very nice. Something I would wear.

And thanks for that ATOP post, jlurk. “Off the cuff…not expecting” is very difficult. I wonder what I would say under those circumstances. Probably something stupid.

eywflyer…151,001. Smile Bought one the other day from Amazon to add to an order for free shipping.

I totally give “Glenda”(?) a pass on this one. Knowing me and being put on the spot, I’m sure my response would be less than stellar. Haha, once again the initial question was not necessary. Wink

I loved having Adam on RoveLA to admire and listen to for such a long stretch of time!
I wish that he had the time to tell the rest of the Debby Does Dallas story. I would have loved to hear more about it, but as someone pointed out above, it was not a show where one could really tell stories.
The body language on the couch made me a little bit sad. Adam was clearly the odd one out; the other two sat close and leaned into each other by the show midpoint; Adam was firmly anchoring the other end, and really couldn’t shift or he would have put himself away from the host, even if he wanted to. From his wary body language, formal speech patterns, he really seemed to be on his guard, and I hope that he wasn’t feeling – again – like the kid who isn’t quite as cool as the others.
The young lady in the middle was just adorable!

Hi Kradamour, I’ve tried several photo repository sites and happily settled on and will recommend Picture Trail.

    http://www.picturetrail.com/

You have to register with the site. You’ll then get an email with a Link to click on to confirm your account and registration. You then sign in with your username and password and you’re ready to go.

If you do decide to use this site, you have the option when uploading photos to “use old uploader”. Use the old uploader. Wink It’s much easier to upload with it than the updated-supposed-to-be-improved one that’s also available.

Kradamour, I use Photobucket for sharing photos. You can have different folders and keep some private (with password access) and some for public viewing. And it’s free to use.

    http://photobucket.com/

I know mlg uses them – here’s her posters on there –
    http://s958.photobucket.com/profile/mlg_0621

It’s one of many out there including Ron’s suggestion PictureTrail and also http://www.smugmug.com/ (not free though).

  8. Kradamour says:

Thanks, Ron – I just opened an account – couldn’t have been easier and the price is right!
    Yes

ETA: I have a friend who uses photobucket. I think I’ll open both accounts and use them for different purposes.
This was a big help; I was NOT looking forward to slogging through the millions of sites out there!

  9. luval says:

    Adam just tweeted this:

    “Adam Lambert ‏@adamlambert

WOW! his vocals are nuts! great belt voice buddy! Can’t Let You Go http://youtu.be/KZxR9VJBA4A

  10. turquoisewaters says:

rs: I feel exactly like you about RoveLA. It was funny, but somehow not a relaxed, happy kind of funny, but a competitive forced kind of funny. I was somewhat uncomfortable watching. I also agree with cwm about the “perpetual hope”, but the lady was probably completely dumbfounded and by now could think of 1000 better answers. Oh well.

  11. Kradamour says:

So it was the Katy Perry Russell Brand on that RoveLA – I didn’t pick up on that. Can’t fathom being married to him. Apparently she couldn’t, either. Saw this, though:
    http://www.examiner.com/article/katy-perry-to-throw-divorce-party-on-anniversary-of-marriage-to-russell-brand

  12. milwlovesadam says:

I laughed my way all the way through RoveLA. I do agree about the Glambert comment, I was annoyed when Russell Brand barged in on Adam’s story, and I did see he talked about being an outsider again.

But, overall, he was funny ( wombat?? Tea-bagging??LOL )and sweet. His belly laugh could be heard all during the show.

I do think he is a different kind of guest when the hosts are not from US ( UK. Any of ’em). Or gay ( Andy Cohen ). Or really cute and funny women from anywhere. He’s just less “on guard.” It’s a shame he has to be so guarded in most settings. Because “unguarded Adam” is the bawdiest and funniest.

This still was just wonderful. I would have loved to have heard more about DDD. The host was very well informed. I agree that the football thing ran too long, but, the skating thing was very funny.

  13. milwlovesadam says:

Loved that CLYG. And it proves my theory ( sorry folks who love the recorded version)that the track is over-produced. Just listen to this young man belt, and imagine what it would sound like if Adam could just sing it without all that synth and noise. It makes my head spin.

But, then again, we do have Underneath. So, I’ll stop while I’m ahead!!

  14. Kradamour says:

Because “unguarded Adam” is the bawdiest and funniest.

And sharp as a tack! ITA, mils.

  15. luval says:

    Adam again:

    “Adam Lambert ‏@adamlambert

A late 70s early 80’s groove w an am radio police groove. Then an organic version of some half-time drums and a drop. It’s genius.”

    He is talking about this:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lKcexAkmEvI

    Then he added this:
    Adam Lambert ‏@adamlambert

It’s risky for radio but I really hope it’s a hit. Could help shift the paradigm. Smile yay @BrunoMars @iamMarkRonson @JeffBhasker and crew.

It reminds me of SOS by the Police. (this is my comment)

  16. milwlovesadam says:

So, I had an Adam moment today. I was temping at a facility and came into a patient’s room who had a lot of family visiting, while they were having a discussion about Idol. They were discussing some local connections, favorites, and they asked who I liked. I said, wellll, I am a fan of one of the Idols in particular. A pretty big fan too. So, I said Adam Lambert.

The 22 year old just about jumped up. ” OMG. I LOVE him!!”

So. Guys. I was at work. Needed to be professional. So I just flailed a little, kept my composure. Mentioned how it’s just not fair that Bieber gets press for PUKING on stage, but Adam can be on the Voice of China with a billion viewers, give a concert in Kiev that was for approx. 300, 000 people and was broadcast live in several countries in Europe, perform with Queen to rave reviews and he doesn’t get any press here.

She totally agreed. And she didn’t know about China. She had heard about Queen, but hadn’t seen any video. I directed her to You Tube.

I went to get something from my purse, and brought them back to whip them out. You know what. She just loved them. She didn’t know he went “blond” either. Poor thing. She has some catching up to do.

Oh. But she knew that Biebs puked on stage.

Here’s the kicker. She had a tattoo. On her inside forearm. The eye of horus. I kid you not. I told her Adam has the same thing. She was stunned. She said she needed to look it up. She really didn’t know about the tat.

  17. luval says:

Talking about tats, mils, I was in a boutique the other day and one of the sales girls had a HUGE eye of horus tattoo across her back shoulder to shoulder. I asked her if Adam was her inspiration but no, she and her parents had traveled extensively to Egypt and she became fascinated by it’s meaning. LOL She didn’t know Adam had one!

  18. milwlovesadam says:

luval, ITA, The Police. Adam’s right. It will be a hit, and it doesn’t sound like any of the shit out there right now. It may actually help Trespassing.

  19. HK fan says:

I thought the Rovela programme was really funny, and that Adam held his own. Its a shame he didn’t get to finish his longer stories though. I too have never been a fan of Russell Brand but enjoyed him on this programme.

Have we seen this yet, Trespassing from the 80’s talkshow. He sounded great and the audience really loved him

    http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XNDU2NjcyMzEy.html

  20. turquoisewaters says:

When they asked Adam about his celebrity friends, my first thought was I wonder if he would say “Katy Perry” with Russell around. (Russell creeps me out but obviously I have no idea who is the person behind his persona.) Adam is so honest and humble, I don’t know if that is always an advantage in this line of work, but it certainly endears him to me.

  21. luval says:

If only radio would play this (and Trespassing, of course).

I was trying to think of one celebrity who Adam might be good friends with and I can’t think of one. Obviously I don’t know everyone who Adam hangs out with but sheesh….he is correct!

eta: HK fan, there have been so many videos & pics from China & I missed that one. A good one! Love the fans there.

  22. milwlovesadam says:

I have seen RB on many shows, Ellen, The View and Leno come to mind. He’s always the same, he just lets it rip, and they have to bleep him. He is NEVER on guard. And he gets away with it.

At times, he’s funny to me, at other times he’s just amazingly insecure and immature and rude. He constantly hogs attention and interrupts everyone. At least on Rove, he actually sat back at times. I was thinking it was a more subdued RB, until he jumped in on Adam’s story. Poor Adam, he was just being his usual open self, ran a bit long, and got swooped over by RB!!

  23. milwlovesadam says:

Allisan Porter, Carmit, Terrance, Sutan and Lee Cherry. Oh and Sasha.

Each of them famous for their own work. Not household names, but, famous in their own worlds. Singers, dancers, actors, queens, and photographers.

Hey, does anyone know when the winners of the award Terrance is up for will be announced? The Ovation award?

  24. adamized says:

Hello lovely ladies and gents. Have to head off to bed soon but wanted to share an Adam story from my weekend away with my sister. She doesn’t really care for Adam and in the early days of my Adam immersion she would poke fun. For these reasons I rarely talk about him to her and certainly don’t offer to play any of his music. On our ride to NJ she brought Adam up and knew about Queen and she even said how beautiful he was. Hmmmmm…. not sure where all this new found interest was coming from, but I rose to the bait and asked if she wanted to listen to his new CD. Shockingly she did. Even more surprisingly she like it. Her favourite songs were the three bonus tracks with Running at the top. “YAY”

I watched RoveLA a couple times through and think all in all that Adam did very well for the “straight” man in a crowd of comedians. He held his own and managed to enjoy the craziness of the evening without getting too lost in the crowd. Yes, the body language on the couch at times seemed to have him look like the odd man out but I’m hopeful he didn’t feel that way. If there is anything all of us ‘glamberts’ share is our wish for our BB to be happy and treated with love and respect.

Speaking of love and respect, Chinese fans seems to be oozing the stuff.

Ok, off to bed. Still coughing and blowing my nose every few minutes. Am ready for this cold to be totally over!

    Night sweeties!

    The Ovation awards:

Nominees for the 2012 LA STAGE Alliance Ovation Awards were announced Tuesday evening at the Renberg Theatre inside the Gay and Lesbian Center in Los Angeles. The 2012 Ovation Awards ceremony will take place on Monday, November 12, at the historic Los Angeles Theatre, 615 South Broadway, in downtown Los Angeles. The curtain will rise at 7:30 pm. For more information, visit http://www.LASTAGEOvations.com.

  26. milwlovesadam says:

    Thanks luval for the research.

Feel better Adamized. An early fall cold is a bummer.

  27. HK fan says:

mils, re that list of his friends, I think thats what he meant when he said famous to me, he thinks they’re amazing and talented, but not household names. I thought he might have said Brian May and Roger Taylor as his celebrity friends. I would say with all that they’ve been throught together this year they could be counted as friends.

  28. riskylady says:

Then, there’s always Sam Sparro, The Blondes, Hans Haveron, Scissor Sisters. Thing is, I think he doesn’t like to name-drop, for one, and maybe his definition of friends is really close friends that he chats with very often, hangs out with often. But I think a lot of people are his friend, even if he doesn’t want to call them out.

  29. riskylady says:

Btw, even if Trespassing doesn’t have many formal adds yet, several stations are having promo plays and contests, like CHUM in Canada and a few others in the US (cannot remember all of them) so adds might come in soon. I’ve been voting in a few of them, and Trespassing is getting plenty of votes.
We’ll see how it goes….it is a fun song, with the stomping/clapping and I think younger fans like it.

  30. luval says:

mils, I sent you a note on the fansite.

    Good nite everyone!

  31. riskylady says:

LOL post-ho me again, f inally a FAN video of WWFM from way up in a balcony, GREAT SOUND and captures the audience reaction to Adam. You can also hear the beautiful rounded tone of his voice compared to the sharper tone of the Chinese boy (who is still very good IMHO).

  32. Kradamour says:

I think he doesn’t like to name-drop, for one, and maybe his definition of friends is really close friends that he chats with very often, hangs out with often.

I have been reading a lot lately to the effect that Americans have an amazingly loose definition of “friend”…we seem to have lost the distinction between friend and acquaintance, and of course facebook has been a big part of that – everyone is a “friend”, and it has edged into our consciousness.

I think that for someone like Adam, who was often on the outside, real friendship is especially precious. These were the peeps he could count on to have his back, to support him, to love him when he felt unlovable, to be honest with him and to keep him grounded. He has spoken of this so often.

Even Brian May and Roger Taylor…he has very little history with them, and longevity seems to be an important characteristic of the peeps Adam calls friends. Right now, I think he would call them colleagues, mentors, peeps he can trust…people for whom he feels a great deal of affection…but not peers, not friends. At least not yet.

But I also think that he would be loathe to do what could be interpreted as name-dropping, as pointed out above.

  33. ultimathule says:

Adam’s voice is like velvet in that WWFM – soooo beautiful.

I am a first time poster, but long time lurker. Just wanted to say hey to most gracious and wonderful Kradamour and AL for forwarding my request to Jlurksacto. Today, after a stressful day at work (budget time !!!) to my surprise, the Kiev DVD was waiting for me in my mailbox. The first song I played was WWTLF, my fave of the Queenbert collaboration.
Thank you Jlurksacto for your generosity.

Just testing something here – my computer/YouTube links are messed up.

  37. ultimathule says:

I can’t get into the above youtube through Firefox, so’ve been using IE.

Can you let me know if the above link works for you-all?

It’s a K-Pop video – BigBang/Monster. Love K-Pop – great voices – marvelous clothes. At about :45 in the above vid there’s one performer who has a jacket on like Adam’s closed neck one when he sang WWFM. Always thought Adam – at certain angles – had a slight Asian look – hooded eyes – eyebrows that flare up.

Anyhow, appreciate someone letting me know if it works. I’ve had two people look at the PC, but no fix so far – in fact, one made it worse – lol. I’ve been working around it – but it’s a pain. Thanks.

  38. riskylady says:

ultima, it opened fine for me, but I use IE too. Don’t know if that helps you.

  39. ultimathule says:

So weird, riskylady – can send to other, but can’t send to myself – won’t open in my email – Outlook (in fact, screws it all up and have to reboot and delete it). I was sending just the URL to myself and that opened (was using Firefox), and someone came and fiddled with it and now can’t use Firefox at all on YouTube, but can use IE to open the youtube on the youtube site, but still can’t send to me and open. It’s a mess.

Can still copy the URL to iTunes, though – thank heavens. Don’t know who to ask – think Geek Squads would know anything – or are they just hardware?

  40. ultimathule says:

Said Outlook, but meant Firefox. Changed it.

  41. turquoisewaters says:
