As October begins, Adam has just announced the official radio add date (October 8) for Trespassing, which is the title track and the third U.S. single from his album of the same name. A Trespassing EP with a radio edit and album remixes will also be available on October 16. After limited success for the first two singles from Trespassing, Adam likely needs this third single to be a hit in order to continue onward with the Trespassing era, at least here in the United States.

After an October 13th concert date in Australia, Adam will return to the U.S. for a pair of dates during the second half of the month, on October 17th at the Arizona State Fair in Phoenix, and on October 29th at the Texas Tango radio concert in Grand Prarie. Above we see a beautiful photo from @Alikat1323, taken at Adam’s September 25th benefit concert in support of marriage equality. Enjoy the chat!

Not sure why some folks aren’t seeing the editing buttons recently, the only thing I can think of is that it’s due to the web browser version being used. I am able to see the buttons using these browsers:

Dear Adam, I’m so grateful that u let me sing the coolest part of the song. It has been the deepest honour sharing the stage with u. Many thanks, and enjoy the trip to China pal. @Adam_Lambert_CN

Hi dcglam! Thanks eywflyer for choosing a picture from our (fab four part deux) favorite concert! This is going to be a big month for Adam, I think PTL will be explosive in its impact on his career.
Had 2 Adam moments today. First, I was shopping in IKEA and I heard BTIKM! Every time I hear one of Adam’s songs while out shopping, I immediately feel that I am where I am supposed to be! Contrary to many others, I still believe that releasing BTIKM as the first single was not a dumb move for several reasons, one being that, like WWFM, it can be played on a store soundtrack. Second, we drove by a Whole Foods store. Didn’t know there were any in PA!
And, omigosh. I just realized that we bought an Adam colored car on Saturday! It is sparkly black with a silver top! And, if you can believe it, I originally didn’t want to buy it because I couldn’t see the sparkles!!!LOL! At least I’m consistent!
    Sweet Adam dreams, all!

I LOVE the Rove LA show! Why can’t we have shows like that and Graham Norton in the US? It felt so free and expressive and dirty and fun! I laughed the entire show. Getting to watch Adam for 50 minutes talking, listening and laughing, and being licked, was great!
    ROTFL ROTFL ROTFL

  8. cwm says:

I just finished watching the Rove LA show. I should have been getting work done, but no – I was sitting here giggling deliriously instead, enjoying every second of watching Adam laugh, tell stories, be funny and charming, and get his ankle licked. So funny! That show was hilariously bawdy and free-wheeling. I do wonder what the censors will do with it for US broadcast!

And I agree that Adam totally held his own. Keeping up with 3 comedians is no small feat, but Adam was totally up to the challenge. He was great.

  9. cwm says:

This is totally worth watching. The first 3 minutes pick up where the The Voice of China WWFM duet video leaves off. Adam and Zhang Wei are all hugs and smiles and then are invited over to chat for a bit with the host. Adam is asked about what he thinks about the contestants in general and Zhang in particular. Very sweet, and Adam is totally charming and poised as always. Smile

  10. cwm says:

Between The Voice of China vids, the Trespassing single announcement, and the RoveLA video, it’s been an embarrassment of riches today. I can’t believe that after 3.5 years, being an Adam fan is still so much fun. Big Smile

  11. rs says:

Thanks for that link cwm. I saw that bit on the live stream and really liked it, but it was cut out of the vids that we got of the duet. That contestant was in such awe of Adam, but once Adam came out, the connection between them during the duet made his voice just get stronger and stronger. It was a beautiful thing to see.

  12. cwm says:

Hi rs! Good to be here at the same time as you! I didn’t see the livestream. Did they show Zhang saying anything about Adam before their duet?

  13. rs says:

Hi cwm. If they did, I couldn’t understand it. If my memory serves me right (which could be off, it was such a loooong show and I wasn’t watching all the time), it came on after Adam sang Trespassing. I was skyping with cher and I wasn’t watching that closely because I thought Adam was finished and then I heard the beginning of WWFM and I saw this kid singing.

  14. rs says:

I can’t believe that after 3.5 years, being an Adam fan is still so much fun.

cwm, it just keeps getting betterer and betterer, and it is made more so by being able to share the love with other like minded souls.

  15. cwm says:

Indeed, rs, it is truly wonderful to able to share this amazing ride with others with whom there is no need to question or explain our love for and devotion to a certain young singer/songwriter/entertainer. In Love

  16. rs says:

no need to question or explain our love for and devotion to a certain young singer/songwriter/entertainer

    That’s it, isn’t it?

  17. cwm says:

Awww. Also so amazing to be able to share the love together from all corners of the world!

  18. rs says:

I know. cher, and I were skyping at the same time as we were watching, but my feed was about a minute ahead of hers so I kept hearing the later feed coming from her computer and I was yelling at her to turn it down, lol. When Adam came on I made her turn her microphone off. And I was thinking of HK Fan watching from Hong Kong, getting the feed even before me. It really is an amazing thing. Just before Adam came on a friend called me and I told her what we were doing. CRAZY!

  19. glambotgram says:

Beautiful picture eywflyer TY. FYI I am using Firefox 15.0.1 and all my buttons are intact.

I haven’t watched RoveLA yet, I have it set to DVR on Sat night/Sun Morning. I recorded this weeks and started watching it last night. It was Best of Season 1, I was cracking up, I think I will let it record all the time now, funny stuff.
Although by next week I think I will already know the punch lines, I saw stuff about the show all over twitter this morning. LOL
Loved all the goodies from AdamWorld yesterday.

Thank-you so much for finding that post-WWFM moment, cwm. That show was so long that it was like looking for a needle in a haystack to find all the lovely Adam moments.

I love hearing that rs and cher were skyping during the show. So many of us try to connect outside of the blog and that is wonderful.

Loved the ROVELA show. Russell is a pretty big star so that show will probably be viewed by quite a few people.

WITWIAL today? Shopping in Shanghai? Doing a press conference re: his December concert? Giving some interviews on Chinese radio? Slipping into London?

If Trespassing is going to adds on October 6th, might he slip back into the States after all?

    Enquiring minds want to know.

  25. TLKC says:

Well glambotgram answered my question. He’s flying somewhere.

  26. glambotgram says:

    Rumor Control

@glam_alidol: updated rumor:adam will come to shanghai in December, but maybe not for concert

@glam_alidol: but the staff didn’t allow him to say more. adam asked that staff:i couldn’t say those things ? — at airport today

@glam_alidol: sony staff didn’t let adam said more。he told fans he would come in dec ,and do shopping, private things…

  27. glambotgram says:

There is a flight leaving Shanghai for LA in about 20 minutes gets into LA at 6:30 tonight.

Thanks, glambotgram, for the info on WordPress. Tried to find adblocker & I couldn’t & I just updated java! I am computer illiterate and am afraid to touch anything! So I will live without the buttons. I do have them on IE but I hate that browser and rarely use it. Slow………

  29. LadyNorth says:

I’ve just caught up the stuff from China… Thanks a lot for all that! I loved the performances in Voice, even though in Trespassing the background music really was not much. The guy he sang a duet with was very good, but there just is so much depth and warmth and power in Adam’s voice. You can hear the difference right after he started.

I couldn’t stop watching the pics again and again – he was so beautiful, out of this world. I loved the outfit he was wearing in Voice, especially during WWFM when his jacket was buttoned (or zipped) up to his throat. Was that a “chauffeur” look some of you were talking about? To me it looked very futuristic, like a uniform in the scifi movie or so. It fit so well with the hair. I prefer these dark-looking roots Smile

I still have the Rove LA show left to watch… Thanks nkd for a youtube version!

Ron, I am envious of your karaoke evening, that sounds so fun! Wanna join, I love to sing. It would be fun in a small group/cabinet you told about. But I am afraid I couldn’t reach the range in Adam’s songs…

    Funny Neil Lambert!! LOL

    Neilþ@negativeneil

Have you ever wound up naked, locked out in a fancy hotel? I have! It was so embarrassing, I told NPR all about it. http://j.mp/PRU3Qq

They played “Naked Love” at the end. Heart

  31. asifclueless says:

Neil is an excellent story teller.

Can you guess .. Who is his BOSS?

  32. cwm says:

I do confess to having one minor beef about the RoveLA show. When Rove asked Adam whether there is a sense among the Glamberts that “we can turn him,” and Adam said “a real Glambert knows that I’m a full fag, but…”, and then the Glambert he was interacting with interrupted him to say that “there’s that perpetual hope,” as though she was speaking for the fandom.

    It was fairly innocent, and I suppose she meant it as a compliment, but well, no. Good grief, I have no “perpetual hope” that Adam will turn straight. I love 100% who he is as he is. Saying that fans hold out hope that he will turn straight someday strikes me as not truly embracing who Adam really is, and wishing him to be different. Maybe he doesn’t mind at this point, but that “we wish you were straight” message bugs me. My perpetual hope is that someday Adam will be fully embraced for who he is and that he will always have a full and open heart and love in his life. {Yes, I’m a romantic sap.}

Plus, I’m annoyed with her because she interrupted him and I wanted to hear what he intended to say after his “but…”!! I think that what Adam might have said had he had the chance is that “sexy is sexy” and that he enjoys playing around with fantasy. Now THAT I can get behind!

  33. cwm says:

OMG asifclueless – thank you for posting that NPR Naked at the Ritz story from Neil! That is a riot! He is such a fantastic storyteller, and this story does not disappoint! He had me in stitches. Poor guy. That must have been horrifyingly embarrassing. But now he’s got a great story to tell!

And the “Naked Love” clip at the end caps it off perfectly. LOL

  34. Kradamour says:

This wasn’t while he was touring with Adam was it? Or was it? Neil tells a good and artiulate story!

LOVED that duet on the Chinese Voice! It was so much fun to watch Adam pull every bit of power out of that kid’s voice, even watching on the screen, I could almost feel it myself! All of his body language, all of the nuances of his voice, all directed to getting the best out of his duet partner. I was actually a bit breathless at the end.
    Love love love our BB.
In Love In Love In Love

  35. cwm says:

Well now I too am wondering whether Neil’s story may have happened when they were on tour and playing the Montreal show, and Adam was his boss! I can see the logic and wisdom of everyone getting aliases while on tour, given the circumstances of needing to remain hidden from overzealous fans. It would make sense — actually makes much more sense than a boss giving everyone aliases just for kicks for a random work conference or regular “business trip.”

  36. luval says:

I was miffed at that Glambert too, cwm. Couldn’t believe she said that. And like someone else mentioned Adam was interrupted several times. He didn’t get a chance to end the Debbie Does Dallas story. I think I remember what happened. The audience (mostly men) were too interested in the topless women and didn’t care about the music or story line so the show flopped and was closed.

  37. luval says:

Other than my above post I enjoyed the show. Loved when Rove did the roller blade bit!

  38. Kradamour says:

This from the Cyzo interview posted above:

Adam: I don’t eat fried chicken, and I haven’t been eating that much meat either. I eat fish, and green smoothies for my health (while saying this, he orders a caffeine-laden energy drink).

    ROTFL

That is a very interesting interview. Thanks for posting, rs!

  39. rs says:

I agree with you cwm (surprise. surprise!) about that glambert in the audience of the Rove show. Her comment certainly doesn’t represent my feelings, and I think that most of us here are what Adam would call “real Glamberts”.

I know that everyone here is raving about the show and Adam seemed to be having a good time, but I felt what he said in the beginning about how unfair it was to put him with two commedians. He is usually so relaxed and spontaneous in interviews, especially when he is given a chance to talk, but here the pace was so fast and he pretty much just talked when he was asked a question. Russel Brand is so hyperactive and Adam couldn’t compete with the commedians who are talk show veterans with the quips and one liners. And I feel so protective of him that it really annoyed me every time that he was interrupted and couldn’t finish a story.

I think I have to watch a few more times.

  40. ultimathule says:

RoveLA was an enjoyable show. Adam, as he himself realized – and mentioned – was at a bit of a disadvantage surrounded by three professional comedians, whose bread&butter is being funny. As far as being interrupted, a show like this is not a time to tell a longish story – the laughs have got to be almost constant to keep the energy up. No seriousness allowed. (Actually, think the USC Band segment went on a few minutes too long – but the roller skating was really top-drawer comedy.)

Was not a fan of Brand from his movies, but off the cuff as here on the Show, I found him much funnier – clever man. The gal was good, too – her segment with the “fired” guy was a little gem.

Adam, I think, is constrained by who he is and perhaps, to some extent, feels on a short leash. He’s not at a point in his career where he can say just anything he feels like. I sense some watchfulness in him.

Nonetheless, he came across as a person you’d like to know and talk with – that’s important. Plus someone who’s very handsome with a wonderful smile – pretty irresistible. I try to look at these shows as someone who doesn’t know him.

It’s on the stage that he can let it all out if he so chooses.

  41. jlurksacto says:

About the RoveAL “Glambert” from Atop

    Me TOO!!!

First of all, let me say Glenda is fully supportive of Adam across the board and is NOT delusional. She is very sweet, beyond happy about his and Sauli’s relationship and totally supports Adam as an out gay man. The entire thing happened in the blink of an eye. She is very gutsy and just as myspencer said, they second Adam indicated the Glamberts in the audience, the cameras swung around and a boom mic came down to Glenda.

Rove made the “turn” comment and we all (LOUDLY) said, “Nooooo!!!” (Which did not come across on the audio.) Adam then made his “They know I’m Full F**” comment and then referred to those FEW women who have hit on him in the past. (He has told many stories so we know they DO exist.) And Glenda good-naturedly shot back, (kind of with a shrug, wink and a smile, IMO), “Perpetual hope.” (Like, some people just can’t give up.)

It was all lightning fast and in the same bawdy spirit of the entire show. I don’t think for one minute she meant to imply ALL Glamberts have perpetual hope or she has it in any way, shape or form.

If we know anything in this fandom it’s that some people will believe what they want to believe. I think they’re in the extreme minority, but they do exist. Whether it’s nurturing a fantasy about Adam being with them someday or the straight dude of their choice.

Another thing we know from this fandom is that context is everything. Adam has gotten in trouble before when his comments were taken out of context and badly edited and people reacted to them when they didn’t know the actual story at all.

  42. dcglam says:

Adam, I think, is constrained by who he is and perhaps, to some extent, feels on a short leash. He’s not at a point in his career where he can say just anything he feels like. I sense some watchfulness in him.

    You are absolutely correct, ultimathule!
Out of the three, he was definitely the most reserved and most careful before he spoke. In my opinion, that is not a bad thing. Regardless, as I mentioned above, he held his own with this group. His charm, intelligence, and humor shone brightly.
I loved the part when he talked about his mom and how protective she remains over him. As a mom with a son who is Adam’s age, I can totally relate. Big Smile

  43. Oksana2000 says:

Adam, I think, is constrained by who he is and perhaps, to some extent, feels on a short leash. He’s not at a point in his career where he can say just anything he feels like. I sense some watchfulness in him.

ulti, this is exactly what I felt watching him. If he said what Russel said many times he would be cruxified.I think that AMA was quite a painful lesson for him, whether he admits or not.

  44. Oksana2000 says:

Is Rove LA shown on US TV? I watched it online, which is fine with me but not all of my friends are computer oriented..

  45. dcglam says:

Thanks, jlurks, for bringing over the Atop post! My blame went totally to the host on this one. He is the one who asked that idiotic question to begin with. Funny thing is that Adam didn’t seem to mind this “conversation” at all — probably “it ain’t that deep”. Wink

  46. jlurksacto says:

Adam didn’t seem to mind this “conversation” at all

No, because he was party to it and knows the context, as opposed to those that
    are getting a edited version.

  47. riskylady says:

For that to be posted on Atop, there must have been some backlash from other fans too who “misinterpreted” the conversation on RoveLA. I did too, actually, and didn’t like it either, but it’s nice to know the full context.
He’s been asked that before too, several times, so probably used to it. Didn’t he say in a pretty recent interview that it was actually straight guys who lately were kind of leaning toward turning? Anyway, he still got in a few subtle naughty comments while talking about teabags LOL.
So, he’s coming home and then has to be in NZ on the 10th?
    His schedule is dizzying.

  49. riskylady says:

Forgot to mention, Adam has gained 33,000 followers on his weibo account since yesterday morning!!!!!!! Un-freaking-believable. Went from 119k to 152k!!!
Also, Trespassing continues in the top 200 of iTunes Pop Albums, sitting at 150 right now – has remained steady over the past week from 134 to 151 back and forth.

  50. eywflyer says:

This week’s Hot AC adds for Trespassing:
    KPEK Albuquerque
    WCDA Lexington
    WTMX Chicago

The song has 6 total adds in the US thus far, all in Hot AC. It has also been added to one Hot AC and two Top 40 stations in Canada during the last couple of weeks:
    CFHK London
    CKIK Red Deer
    CKOI Montreal

With the official radio impact date now set for next week, Trespassing ended up with 6 Hot AC adds before the impact date. For comparison, NCOE had 16 Hot AC pre-impact date adds, and BTIKM had 13 Hot AC pre-impact date adds.

As for Top 40, Trespassing does not yet have any adds up through last week, and still none with 54 of 157 stations reporting this week. NCOE had 3 pre-impact date Top 40 adds, and BTIKM had 4 pre-impact Top 40 adds.

It has not yet charted (top 50) on US or Canadian Top 40 or Hot AC. The song also does not currently appear in the “Taking Off” or “Spincrease” reports for any format.

As for the album, there are no still no sales numbers available since the last update on August 19. At that time, total US sales were 151,000.
