Well, fall has arrived and it’s time for our October chat thread. This is the sixth monthly chat we’ve had on the site. Thought about using a Burning Man photo for this month, but decided to continue with the Adam getting awards theme with this photo of Adam and Leila at the 2nd annual PFLAG National LA Event.

Still hoping for a new single sometime soon, but maybe not this month. Enjoy the chat!

    Looks like Adam had the sides shaved really close to the scalp again. Liked it at first, but not so much now.

    I love when pictures of Adam show up when he is out and about and the other people captured in the pictures look so freaking happy just to be near him or have him walk by. Makes me happy! Must be that aura, and if Sauli has one too people must be practically having the Big O just being near. LOL

    I am also of the “QUIT SHAVING THE SIDES” camp. I don’t even like Sauli’s shaved sides

    ultimathule I didn’t know you were in the DC area, I am headed that way this weekend.

    luval and ut Smile you’re welcome. Off to see Josh Groban – kinda like going to church, huh? My friend drags me to the most diverse concerts! Last week Duran Duran, next week BoyzIIMen (I’m looking forward to that one!!) and the week after that JayZ and Kanye????? WTH? I refused to go to Dolly Parton and Chris Brown though. Just no. Dolly I like but not for 2 hrs.
    I want Adam! He’s not appearing in any of the Jingle Balls anywhere. Sniff. Frown Oh well. Can save money for his next tour!

    Hate to harp on the hair (I’m all about the hair, though), but it’s like it’s cut way in from the forehead/sides. Something is odd about it. Still love him. Smile

    OH, Boyz to Men!…They have a new album out. Heard a little bit of it and it’s very nice. In an interview they talked about how no one uses the voice anymore…it’s all auto-tune. I shouted into the tv but no one heard. Smile

    Boyz II Men – remember when Adam sang “It’s So Hard to Say Goodbye” at his graduation. One of the few songs of Boyz that I don’t like. Have been investigating the new album. Very mellow.

    I’ll be blunt – I HATE the hair right now. So there – I’ve said it.

    As far as the boots go – no matter what Adam has worn in the past, he’s always looked well groomed. These damn clodhoppers just make him look sloppy. All they need are steel tips to make him look like he just came from a construction site. What – a hardhat next?

    Grrrrrrrrrrr – well, it’s past five – time for a drink, babes.

    Haha ultimathule…you crack me up with your honesty. Guess the “clods” are gonna be standard now.Boo. Those medges have to be very hard on the feet. Maybe his podiatrist told him to change the shoes or else!

    Now the hair… Hope it grows back. It really doesn’t look current. His best look was at Ste Agathe. IMO

    Am I the only one here not watching X-Factor? I just don’t like rude, conniving people and have felt that if I never saw Simon on my TV again I’d be happy. I do enjoy Paula at times so maybe I’ll try to watch, I can always tune Simon out, I do have mute on my remote. These early shows have been too long for my short attention span. I feel happy that the show is off to a rather slow start and a blow to Simon’s ego. I’ll stop my rant now.

    Haha JOJOSIE, I like Simon and I notice he uses many of the same phrases he used on Idol. Remember Adam and the chair episode where they put Adam through? Simon said “it’s not good news…pause… Adam says it’s not? Then Simon says “it’s great news!”
    Simon has said this a couple of times already on x-factor.

    JOJOSIE, no, you are not the only one not watching XFactor. I was trying to watch it yesterday, tx God for DVR,cause I slept thru most of it. I guess I’m in reality-singing-shows overload. I can’t watch it anymore.
    I am little confused about Adam/Monte/BFM situation, I didn’t follow the drama and at this point I don’t know what’s going on. Except that this bastard album disappeared from Amazon.Good.
    Do all of you have problems going thru comment sections on MJs? Any thread that has more than 40 comments is hard to follow. Maybe it’s me,being 29 is not easy in current world.. Frown

    I posted yesterday that I was a little confused about the situation too. I guess the BFM album was co-written by Adam and Monte. The release was announced unknown to Adam…conflicting with his music (the single I guess) and with the possibility that people may think this is Adam’s new album. Monte implies he has no problem with this. Adam is upset, stops following Monte on twitter. Glamberts fight back in support of Adam. Then things get muddled to me.

    I’m wondering if there is also some sort of bad blood in regards to Adam’s new album. Maybe Monte wanted to play guitar on it but wasn’t invited???? I don’t know. It’s a mess.

    Peeps can fill in the blanks. I was sort of ignoring the situation, Oksana. I can only figure out things when it comes to the hair! Smile

    I don’t know what happened with Adam/Monte/BFM situation, none of us knows what went on inside the circle. It must not have set well with Adam however. A tweet here a tweet there, eieio.
    I hate to speculate but it doesn’t look good.

    What we need is a NEW SINGLE!!!!!
    I think that Adam shaves his head on purpose to divert our attention from delayed album. Sneaky bastard! Instead of complaining about lack of new music we are complaining about his Forrest Gump look.I loved his StAgathe hair. With silver-blond higligts.Each time I fall in love with his new hairdo, I know that my happiness will not last too long… Frown
    Let us pray that Mohawk idea will never cross his mind.(Crossing fingers)

    Oksana, I loved the Ste Agathe hair also. But with Adam we don’t usually have to wait too long for it to change. Just please, a change for the better!

    nekkid, winter is coming, I hope he will grow hair AGAIN.
    Unfortunately, when I look at young trendy stars, half of them has something shaved on their heads.Just let us be grateful, that it’s not like tatoos, it doesn’t stay forever.
    I’m really surprised at lack of tatoos on Adam’s body until recently.Good kid.

    Oksana…you might be onto something about giving his hair a rest from the dye, but he could also just let it grow out to it’s natural color…maybe with just streaks of black or color. I think it would look fabulous! Hair hair hair hair…long flowing hair…ginger with pops of color. Now to me that would be very different than what’s out there.

    Are ya listening Adam honey bunny?

    Don’t know why this hair talk just intrigues me so.

    10/26/10 – the Glam Nation Tour wraps up its Pacific leg with the second show at the Blaisdell Concert Hall in Honolulu HI:

    As the tour enjoyed a 10 day break after this show before starting up the European leg in Helsinki, there won’t be any more anniversary recaps for a little while. Next one will appear on November 6th.

    This Adam/Monte situation is damaging to all involved, IMO. Unfortunately this sort of thing seems to be fairly common in the music world. I was hoping Adam could avoid such drama, but I guess not Frown

    Jojosie, you’re not alone, I’m not watching Xfactor either……although that might have something to do with the fact its not on over here!!!
    I was going to try and at least keep up with what was happening with it on MJ’s but they for some reason couldn’t watch the videos outside the US (or the dancing with the stars ones), but this week I could so got a brief glimpse of the top 12. Didn’t really like any of the boys, thought the girl group was the best group, and Melanie, and Drew for the girls. Liked Stacy’s voice too, although she seems to be getting a lot of negative press.
    Talking of which, Stacy, Adsam and Perez have just had a spat over twitter..

    ultimathule You are so sweet and i would love to take you up on your very generous offer. I am going this weekend to give my almost 9 months pregnant daughter a break for a few days by devoting my self to my 2 year old grand daughter. I will probably be back within the next 2 weeks as baby is due on the 7th. Hopefully another time as I am sure I will be visiting often, and I would love to meet some friends from this site. Thanks again, Adam fans are so nice. <3

Remember that it is going to get really cold soon and you need something long and thick to keep your neck warm. Remember that no one looks good with their hair shaved in such a perverse fashion.
